‘I’ll Break Your God**mned Neck’: OH Union Protester Threatens Tea Partier

The Tea Party group Truth About Bills has put out a video purportedly showing a union protester in Columbus, OH threatening to break a group member’s “God**mned neck”:

Andrew Staroska, COO of Truth About Bills, was the person threatened in the video. He tells The Blaze that he was there to speak at a press conference in support of controversial anti-union bill SB5. While “walking around just viewing the union members protest to the Gov. State of the State Address,” he says he was confronted by the man in the video.

“I said nothing to the man and he approached and threatened me.”

      I just had to respond as I have a son who survived brain cancer and the bills were unreal. Have you asked the doctor and the hospital for help? You have to ask and keep digging for groups and agencies that help, but we were finally given “hardship” funds and also able to get help from cancer society. There were two fundraisers and our original bill of $220,000 was brought down to under $12,000! My prayers are with your family!

      pugsly84, Hospitals have programs to help with the bills. You can also give Catholic Charities or your local housing agency a call. Also call your local DSS office most states have temporary assistance programs. Also the most important thing is to contact your local food pantry but Catholic Charities will probably suggest that, the more I read about cancer patients nutrition is incredibly important. From what I have been told and read sugar is NOT good for anyone dealing with cancer. Good luck

    I attended a counter protest to the union rally in Raleigh, NC two weeks ago. I have never met so many ugly, nasty evil people. A number crossed the street to yell in our face, give us the tall finger salute, and over all try to cause trouble. I don’t know where all this will end, but it’s not going to be pretty. FYI, no one from our side crossed the street.

      That is why I am waiting until things get really bad. I told my wife that I cannot be deployed until there is nothing left to lose because I would not last more than 30 minutes. I cannot stand the typical union member and I have zero tolerance for their crap. All this talk about how uneducated and stupid Tea Party members are, how does the left account for these people?       I do believe that my 6′2″ 270lb frame will be dragging itself to some of these wonderful events…with my camcorder and DSLR in hand. And I agree with Bigliardi! Better to have and not need, then to need and not have! We need to show up in force at these events…and show these thugs that we do not fear their arrogance and threats. The writing is on the wall…..the thug unions are scared s**tless! It may take some time, but the days of the unions are numbered!

      If you look up public records you will see the voting records I refer to. Glenn chose the prestigious LA Local (along with Charlie Sheen, Kieth Olbermann and Brit Hume) of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) union, which is the AFL-CIO affiliate for television and broadcast workers. They all voted in the Los Angeles 2010 general ballot Election 1281001 (available on-line) and all receive collective bargaining benefits and minimum salary rights.

      I can see the info and the links concerning the Teamster‘s Local president that you’ve posted.

      I‘ve noticed that many times pages don’t reload with everything posted updated on the page. I’ve come to actually re-opening the page I commented on from the link on the home page to get a more reliable page refesh.

      It may have more to do with getting the bugs worked out of the discussion software on a relatively new website. I don’t see any tags on the page, usually at the bottom, saying “Discussion Board Powered By ”X” Software!” as is typical with many websites that use pre-packaged software. It may be custom written for The Blaze, and like anything new, it may have some bugs to work out.

      Be aware that even the best commercial discussion-filtering software can be extremely hard to tweak in, and can take months of operation to get things working relatively smoothly. If live people are moderating, that’s even more chance for errors to creep in. There just aren’t that many people around these days with the ability to moderate a web discussion well, no matter their politics, ideology, or education.

      Please be patient and tolerant. Knowing the quality of people Glenn typically has working for him and Mercury, I’m sure things will improve as time goes on and those tasked with making this discussion board work strive to make this site better.

      Also, I’ve appreciated your intelligent and insightful contributions to our discussions and would regret not hearing your point of view.

      This is typical “Teamster” behavior, the reason they belong to Unions is that they have a lack of personal strength as a single person so they get together as a “group” and then they feel emboldened to act like the true 800lb Gorilla or more like a gang member caught on the street selling drugs.

      Someone is going to get killed, they are dangerous. They never found Jimmy Hoffa and that guy was from the teamsters. I don’t understand why private unions are even there, private union membership is down to 7%, while public unions(who this is about)are now 37%, maybe the private unions really need that public backing, but the union workers aren’t getting rich, it’s the leaders.

      I worked in a unionized shop a few years ago. They were soo pround if their union that instead of working with the company that had been very good to them in my opinion. Now they have pushe dthe company to the point with a petty strike that they finally setteled for the first contract that was offered to them & by this time the company had already set up a matching shop else where so they closed the door & left town. These clowns are still proud of what they did & all of them are out of work. What did they accomplish? Nothing that I can see.

      Take a look at that Teamster Local 284 site and all the contact info for Daniel Kirk and his peeps. Email them, chase them out into the light and let them know America sees them and America isn’t intimidated by their bullying. The unions are the intimidated and scared ones because they know they are on the way out. Also, Thank Them for ALL they are saying and doing to campaign against the liberal agenda. They are guaranteeing and easy win for America in 2012.

      This video just shows a small man in a jacket that makes him feel like a big man. The mentality is very interesting to me. Adding a jacket or shirt makes them feel bigger than they are. It makes them feel tougher than they are. He made a threat, then walked away. Some tough guy, huh?

      Seems to me that they always seem to pick on someone that they feel are no real threat to their personal well being. Anyone who has ever threatened me has received the appropriate attention.

      Damn. I wish some union lover would give me some of that tough love and try an break my neck. For me at 270lbs (muscle weighs more than fat…lol) and nearly six feet, it sounds like a party to me. Being well read and educated, I prefer the eloquent art of debate and conversation; but the time for PC talk is nearly over. These socialist morons want war…bring it on.

      Not until they know that they will receive the same treatment will they stop. They don’t care about being filmed while threatening people. It is very easy to break a knee, and no matter how badly you want to believe it will not work you are wrong. These people could care less about you or anyone else and you don’t stop this kind of people with smiles and peppermints. Smarten up people, when a punk like this trash mouths off pop it’s knee to the side NOT straight back and it will break. Just Sayin’ – let’s not make these outlandish “all union employees are thugs” statements when it’s so true – as Mil_Mom points out – that there are many occupations that requite honest honorable persons to belong to union locals. When we vilify “all union members” we criticize Glenn. Good Comment!

      When I was in the IBEW in the 1970s, we were constantly being threatened by Teamsters who wanted the job of driving our bucket trucks and operating our pole setting equipment. Under their proposal, they would drive the equipment to and from the job site and sit in their assigned truck or other equipment when it was not moving. It would have added five men to our six man crew for the same amount of production. On a couple of occasions we had to call in the police because they were shooting at us on job sites. I lost my respect for my union “brothers” and left the trade after three years of that crap. In later years, as a service engineer, I occasionally was assigned to go into union plants to fix equipment. I remember visiting a steel mill in Michigan where it took four men four days to complete a job that I alone could have completed in six hours, all beacuse of the Union rules and attitude of the workers. I now work part time as a contractor to supplement my retirement and since I am self-employed, I refuse to accept any job in a union plant. Never again!

      Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that all the union people, regardless of what state they are in… are all FAT? The Tea Party people… the people who actually work for a living and pay the unions wages are the ones who look well kept and thin?

      I think Michelle Obama would be on our side here. We need to cut their benefits and break the unions to SAVE these fat fatties from their obesity problem.

      I belong to the T.E.A. party.. we HAVE Union members who ALSO belong.. they show up wearing their VFW hats AND their UNION jackets.. This man is NOT the AVERAGE UNION member he’s a highly PAID union boss.. he doesn’t care about the members ONLY about the DUES so he can be paid and pay off those in D.C. who support his lifestyle.. At one time I supported the TEAMSTERS.. when BUSH allowed the MEXICAN trucks to cross into this country.. I supported them parking their trucks and protesting.. HOWEVER.. I supported ALL truck drivers.. UNION and NON UNION.. PRIVATE SECTOR TRUCK DRIVERS.. but when I found out the TEAMSTERS were for ALLOWING Illegal Aliens into their union.. just for the $ I wrote them a nasty letter and told them I no longer support them.. and why.. IF I don‘t want MEXICAN’S to come here in their trucks taking AMERICAN jobs WHY would I support ILLEGAL ALIENS who they allow in their UNIONS to do the same?? I am not ANTI union I am ANTI government unions and AGAINST unions being allowed to spend so much money supporting campaigns.. of ONE party..thing is MOST union members DON’T support the candidates their money goes to (50% who will speak out in private) but are to scared of losing their jobs to say so.. it’s easy for one to say they should speak up but depending on the job MANY have school loans to pay back and families to feed.. clothe..and provide shelter for.. and they work hard at hazardous jobs.. in some area’s they even vote the way the unions want them to for fear of voter irregularity where someone reads their ballot and they have someone coming after them.. this is prevalent in CHICAGO and a few other cities where CORRUPTION is the normal.. don’t say well they can report it .. who will protect them if they do?? UNION members?? Some cities are 65% government unions..which is WHY they demand all city workers LIVE in the city..

Stop all state funded programs and fix the debt! If they want there programs to continue…. go get donations from other places like moveon.org or Soros…. but keep your damn hands out of our pockets….
