O‘Keefe Releases More ’Teacher‘s Unions Gone Wild’ Footage Defending Context

OKeefe Releases More Teachers Unions Gone Wild Footage Defending Context

A "warning" on James O'Keefe's website regarding new teacher's union footage.

This week, conservative film maker James O’Keefe released a new hidden camera expose on the New Jersey Education Association (the teacher’s union) called “Teacher’s Unions Gone Wild.” After it was released, the NJEA questioned its validity and context, and even accused O’Keefe of fabrication. Thursday, O‘Keefe responded to that criticism by releasing new graphic video from his organization’s undercover investigation — footage he says proves the documentary is true.

O’Keefe released the video on his website along with a statement targeting the union:

The New Jersey Teacher’s Union (NJEA) has questioned the authenticity of the reports released under our “Teacher’s Unions Gone Wild” Investigation.

Specifically, the NJEA claims that our conversation with one of their members, Alissa Ploshnick, was taken out of context.

NJEA Spokesman Steve Wollmer has stated in numerous interviews that when referring to activity in the hallway, Ms. Ploshnick, was referring to “students in the hallway of Clifton High School 20 years ago . . . and that’s what it would take to get a teacher to report them.”

To clear this up, Project Veritas [O'Keefe's company] has offered the raw audio of the conversation to many members of the media, and now to the public.

He encourages readers to “judge for yourself”:

[WARNING: Contains graphic and lewd language]

It remains to be seen if the new footage will convince the NJEA. It seems unlikely given the union’s initial response:

In August, “citizen journalists” from O’Keefe’s Project Veritas apparently attended sessions and social events at the NJEA Summer Leadership Conference in East Brunswick.  They surreptitiously recorded audio and video of members and presenters, and produced a series of videos titled “Teacher’s Unions Gone Wild,” a sophomoric takeoff on the TV show “Girls Gone Wild.”  Several individuals identified as NJEA members were caught unaware on camera, and the resulting product featured proven doctored video and audio.

A spokesman for the union echoed that message to the Daily Record on Tuesday:

“It’s impossible to know where he got this, where he twisted it from,” Baker said. “There’s a lot of audio, no video, and you don’t know where the audio is from. The whole thing is a complete fabrication, built on lies.”

Others too have questioned the documentary’s validity. In fact, O’Keefe got into a contentious exchange with a Philadelphia news anchor earlier this week regarding fabrication charges.

Not everyone has been critical, though. Outspoken NJEA critic and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christi has praised the film.

If O’Keefe really wants to do a NJEA expose, he should go to the November convention in Atlantic City on a Thursday through the weekend. Schools in NJ close that Thursday and Friday. The administrators union is there at the same time. As told to me by a teacher there, Union City was an especially fun bunch. The new teachers (female, and average or better looking ) were invited down and the administration would rent out an entire floor of a hotel. The new, untenured female teachers did not even need to rent a room for themselves. They would spend most of the time on the administration hotel floor “spending time consulting” with various male administrators with a “free” place to “sleep” and when they returned their tenure was guaranteed. Also, in Union City to become an admin or get a promotion all one has to do is make a large enough donation to the Union City Democrat machine. A well “oiled” machine indeed!

This is for students who have some type of diagnosed issue, that a plan is made up for that student. Could be that a student gets a chance to have extra days on assignments, take tests in a quiet setting, etc.

The Mormon Church is going to take over the United States! It’s true! Glenn and Sarah Palin! Yes, She IS A MORMON TOO!!! LOL. Not really.
I am LDS (Mormon) and find it funny how often our religion is used against us especially in politics. I’m not sure if you are aware, but Mormons are the best friend you have when it comes to the CONSTITUTION. Read Doctrine and Covenants section 98.
4 And now, verily I say unto you concerning the laws of the land, it is my will that my people should observe to do all things whatsoever I command them.
5 And that alaw of the land which is constitutional, supporting that principle of freedom in maintaining rights and privileges, belongs to all mankind, and is justifiable before me.
    6 Therefore, I, the Lord, justify you, and your brethren of my church, in befriending that law which is the constitutional law of the land;
7 And as pertaining to law of man, whatsoever is more or less than this, cometh of evil.
8 I, the Lord God, make you afree, therefore ye are free indeed; and the law also maketh you free.
9 Nevertheless, when the wicked brule the people mourn.
10 Wherefore, honest men and wise men should be sought for diligently, and good men and wise men ye should observe to uphold; otherwise whatsoever is less than these cometh of evil.
11 And I give unto you a commandment, that ye shall forsake all evil and cleave unto all agood, that ye shall live by every word which proceedeth forth out of the mouth of God.
12 For he will agive unto the faithful line upon line, precept upon precept; and I will btry you and prove you herewith.
13 And whoso layeth down his life in my cause, for my name’s sake, shall find it again, even life eternal.
14 Therefore, be not afraid of your enemies, for I have decreed in my heart, saith the Lord, that I will prove you in all things, whether you will abide in my covenant, even unto death, that you may be found worthy.
15 For if ye will not abide in my covenant ye are not worthy of me.

I’ve asked a simple question of several Mormons, but have never received an answer: The last thing that Jesus said on the cross, before giving up his spirit was “It is finished” (Jn 19:30). Whenever someone has a new “revelation” from God (e.g., Joseph Smith or Muhammad), which adds to or detracts from, Jesus’ work on the cross, someone is lying. Either Jesus finished everything he set out to do in bringing salvation to mankind, or he didn’t. If you say he didn’t, then you are calling him a liar; however, if you say he did, then Joseph Smith was a liar. My question is, do you believe that Jesus was lying when he said “It is finished” (Jn 19:30), or that Joseph Smith was lying when he wrote a book 1800 years later that said Jesus’ work wasn’t finished? I like Glenn, but the fact that he can’t understand the basic contradiction between the message of salvation through Jesus Christ in the Bible and the heretical doctrine of salvation through works in the Book of Mormon dumbfounds me.

If thats the case…wouldn’t the New Testament be of the devil? Think about it. If Jesus said “It is Finished” and Paul went on to write about it…using your logic, Paul is in HELL. What difference would it make if it was done 18 minutes or 1800 years later? Finished is Finished eh? You like to shoot alot, but your only shooting yourself in the foot. Also, if you run into alot of MORMONS who cant get past your simple argument, I truly worry about them. Now, when Jesus said “It is finished”, he was referring to His atoning sacrifice, not scripture. What if Mathew had a cousin named Bob and he too wrote about Jesus, just only did it a year later…would Bob go to Hell? “It is finished”.

And what about the Revelation of John? Using your argument, John had Revelation AFTER Jesus saying “it is finished” so now you have condemned ST. JOHN to hell.

OBAMAWORSHIOER… I do hope you are playing (I believe you are). That maybe the most wrong thing I have ever see posted in my life…but I actually did almost fall out of my chair laughing. My eyes teared up from it…good job. I really needed the laugh. Thanks.

What exactly do you think John said in Revelation that denies Jesus was crucified for our sins? I’ve read Revelation and have never seen anything that contradicts the gospel of Christ crucified.

Both Paul and John preached Christ crucified, which is the gospel of Christ; however, Joseph Smith and Muhammad preached salvation through works, which is no gospel at all. There is a HUGE difference between the apostles, who saw Christ, writing down the gospel shortly after the resurrection and two guys dictating words that are antithetical to the gospel from angels centuries later. Muhammad and Joseph Smith were visited by angels centuries after Jesus declared “It is finished” (Jn 19:30) and were told by these angels that Christ’s crucifixion isn’t really the way to salvation. Two things: 1) Doesn’t it kind of worry you that the Bible says Satan can masquerade as an angel of light (2 Co 11:14)? And 2) Doesn’t this kind of sound like what Satan did in the Garden of Eden (Ge 3:1)?

Mormons and Muslims do the exact same thing when it comes to the Bible, you say that the Book of Mormon and the Qur’an are just extensions of the Bible and that both are holy, but when someone points out that your books completely contradict the Bible, you immediately attack the Bible. You can’t have it both ways. Either the Bible is wrong, or the Qur’an and the Book of Mormon are wrong, but in either case not all three books can be holy. Similarly, you must either believe that Jesus lied (a thought so detestable I don’t even like writing such a thing down for argument’s sake), or Joseph Smith lied. You never answered my simple question… who lied?

If you believe Jesus’ atoning sacrifice on the Cross paid for your sins and have confessed that to Jesus, you are a Christian; however, if you believe “atoning sacrifice” means something other than the substitutionary death of Jesus on the cross for your sins, you have not believed the gospel. What exactly does “atoning sacrifice” mean to you?

“But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them – bringing swift destruction on themselves.” (2 Pe 2:1).

“For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.” (2 Co 11:13-15).

”I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel – which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!” (Gal 1:6-9).

You can claim that the Book of Mormon doesn’t contradict the Bible, but that doesn’t make it so. When it comes to how we are saved, the Bible makes it clear: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Eph 2:8-9). Should Christians want to do good? Absolutely and these desires come from God who has prepared good works for us to do (Eph 2:10). Does James tell us that someone who claims to be a Christian should have some evidence? Yes (Ja 2:20). Does James tell us that we are saved by our good deeds? No. Does the Bible tell us that we will be rewarded for our good works in Heaven? Yes (1 Co 3:12-15). Does the Bible tell us anywhere that our good works will get us into Heaven? No.

You know what is of the Devil? Telling people that salvation is found apart from Jesus’ crucifixion on the cross. The deception of Mormonism is very subtle, but it is deception nonetheless. Just like Satan asked Eve (paraphrasing), “God didn’t really say that did he,” the angel(s) who spoke to Joseph Smith and Muhammad perverted the truth by saying “Jesus didn’t really die on the cross for your sins.” Mormons may use all of the terms of the gospel (e.g., atoning sacrifice), but you apply different meanings to them and therefore pervert the gospel into something that is not the gospel.

Please don’t think I find pleasure in debunking Mormonism, because most Mormons look like a Christian should look on the outside. Unfortunately, the Pharisees looked righteous in their outward appearance also, but Jesus wasn’t impressed.

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.” (Jesus speaking in Mt 23:27-28).

“Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.” (Ro 3:28).

“Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” (Jesus speaking in Mt 7:22-23).

“All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.’ Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, ‘The righteous will live by faith.’ The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, “The man who does these things will live by them.’ Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.’” (Gal 3:10-13).

Lots of Mormon men were prosletyted into the Mormon church through women using sex. Mormon women are encouraged to use sex to entrap men into that sect.
Jesus Christ never ordained organized religeon of any kind or denomination. They are all all sorts of “cults”. His people are scattered throughout the system and with what is happening right now is the call to “come out of her my people” that is, the world system of religeon, the Great Harlot. Christ’s church is not an institution, it is relational. This failing economy is removing false sheperds and hirelings that are not able to collect their paychecks through their twisting of scripture in the “tithe” which was actually for Levitical priesthood in the old covenant. Jesus and his disiples worked for a living. They tithed because the law was not fulfilled until he became the sacrificial lamb. Jesus Christ, IS THE TITHE OF GOD. He is the firstborn lamb of God.

James is showing he has what it takes, this ‘Teachers Unions Gone Wild’ shows just what real and true corruption is; and to think these people are among those getting kids ready for the future. In the case of where corruption is located it needs to be ferreted out and brought to the light of day.

As Beck says, daylight is among the best of disinfectants.

Watch for the unions to try and sue James for fraud or some series of alleged crimes and attempt to drag him further through the mud even when the truth is self evident by their own words.

One caveat about the boycott against Glenn: If Glenn continues to suggest that Gandhi has the answers, or that Americans need to turn to their god, whoever that god might be, instead of turning to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jesus, I will join Liberals in boycotting his show. He needs to get away from the Mormon Church, because Mormonism is not Christianity. I came to that realization after learning Mormons do not believe that Jesus’ work on the cross is how we are saved. The substitutionary death of Jesus on the cross for the sins of the believer is essential to the gospel of Christ and anyone who denies that is not a Christian. No cross, no salvation.

Personally, I would rather have 10 authentic Christians praying for the restoration of America than 150 million Conservatives going to the polls. If it’s true, they’ll know I will no longer do business with them; if it’s false, they can deal with the morons producing this site.

i only have one problem with O’Keefe. he resorts to some pretty trashy methods to get his film. Like when he tried to get the CNN reporter on some sex scandle that he started.

so yeah it’s always good when someone exposes coruption. but it seems the messenger is tainted now and anything he puts out will be glanced at and thrown away by public opinion.

I know for sure one company on your list is incorrect. I have heard Glenn personally advertise for them today on the radio. Since I am a member of Ancestry.com, I immediately took notice of Glenn talking about his great-grandfather, a soldier that he found on ancestry.com. Maybe the whole list needs to be confirmed before others begin their writing campaigns. Its important we are correct when we write to these companies. Thank you for posting the list.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I plan to contact each one that I currently do business with. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. But in this case their support of of an anti-business, anti-free speech, leftist group like Color of Change is going to come to bite them in the a** in the long run.

Inmyopinion – thanks for the information and I apologize for posting that list without first checking its accuracy. Really, it would be best if someone on Glenn’s staff would compile a list of companies that have withdrawn their ads, then post their names and contact information on his website. Also, they should post a list of companies who continue to advertise, so people can start a buycott.

Kate – yes, I will miss my DirecTV, but it will be canceled as soon as my contract runs out. I hate Walmart, so even though it will mean driving 10 miles out of the way to Krogers, it won’t bother me that much to stop shopping there.

LTB, is it possible that this website is trying to play havoc with Beck listeners??? I see Ancestry.com was added in 2009, and I’ve heard Glenn advertising them within the last week! I smell a rat!!! What better way to ruin Glenn‘s advertisers than to claim they’ve dissed him so his listeners no longer support them. Please, let’s do more research before we boycott EVERY company on this list.

Beautiful thing about the free market…Ones who won’t advertise on FNC allows room for others to advertise on FNC. And with 10s of MILLIONS of viewers who you think wins in the end? Bank of America? NOT!!!! Bwhahahahahahahahahah

And if they don’t advertise on FNC that leaves other networks with a fraction of viewership of FNC. Idiot companies are gonna run out of feet to shoot soon…

They have something called disposable income. Caving to the liberals (a minority) is a stupid business decision.

Not really a wise business move – alienating a large portion of the population for a political foot-stamping I’ve never purchased a product as a result of during which show their commercials were advertised. Good marketing of a good product is all I’ve ever required. In general, a company shouldn’t care about the politics of their customers.. as long as someone is buying.

I was pretty disappointed to look through that list and see nearly every insurance company I could think of on it. I just emailed the marketing director at the one I work for to ask for some justification, as an employee and stockholder, for the boycott. It may not do any good, but my voice was heard. My agent will hear it when I cancel my policy (I was on the fence but this tipped it over…)

The problem is they are all on there, so someone is going to have to get paid. >:|
