O‘Keefe Releases Video Allegedly Showing Stranger Offered Eric Holder’s Ballot to Vote

James O’Keefe has released a new undercover video allegedly showing a man appearing at a D.C. polling place, giving the name Eric Holder, and then being offered the ballot of the attorney general.

In the video, the man gives Holder’s name and an address. The poll worker then checks the name and, after confirming the spelling, eventually appears to offer the man a ballot:

Man: “Do you have an Eric Holder, [address censored]?

Poll worker: “Let me see here.”

Man: [address censored] Northwest.

Poll Worker: Let’s see, Holder; H-o-l-t-e-r, or d-e-r?

Man: H-o-l-d-e-r. That’s the name

Poll Worker: D-e-r. Okay.

Poll Worker: I do. [recites address]

Man:  [address censored] Northwest. That’s the address

Poll Worker: Okay. [Appears to check off name] Will you sign there . . .

Man: I actually forgot my ID.

Poll Worker: You don’t need it; it’s all right.

Man: I left it in the car.

Poll Worker: As long as you’re in here, and you’re on our list and that’s who you say you are, we’re okay.

Man: I would feel more comfortable if I go get my ID, is it all right if I go get it?

Poll Worker: Sure, go ahead.

Man: I’ll be back faster than you can say furious!

Poll Worker: We’re not going anywhere.

Watch it below:

Although the title “attorney general” is never mentioned in the undercover footage, the assumption is that the stranger was asking about the nation’s top law enforcement official. National Review’s John Fund gives more details and reaction to the video here.

We should note that The Blaze has been critical of O‘Keefe’s tactics in the past.

UPDATE:

An unnamed Justice Department official has responded with a statement to Talking Points Memo: “It’s no coincidence that these so-called examples of rampant voter fraud consistently turn out to be manufactured ones.”

This is what I have been saying since all the fake voter registration issues came up, All I heard is that they only did the registration, Really? because that is all that was needed to actually cast a vote. how can so many seemingly smart people be so blind to every thing Obama and his party do. can any one out there answer that question?

You can be critical of O‘Keefe’s tactics, but you have to raise your eyebrows at what he uncovers. Time after time, corruption after corruption.

As long as the stuff that he uncovers takes place, especially in the polling place, we’re in serious trouble.

Side issue: has anyone pointed out to the Dems that while they’re against ID at polling places, if Obamacare is implemented, it‘s going to require an ID card at the doctor’s office? What’s more sacred in America, the sancitity of a fair election or getting free healthcare?

Hey Turkey – This so called fellow would not even consider trying this to your state or 27 others State in the US that required Photo ID’s to vote by Law – The Obama administration has called your State and my State Texas raciest because we required a photo ID to vote – Okeefe was defending the laws of your STATE and mine – Turkey! (thank you for your name – I almost called you something else)

Obama does not want photo ID’s at election so he can steal the election with his demonic followers. In order to do it – he has called everyone in OK a Racist because of their law.

It takes guts to expose yourself as a Patriot like Okeefe did – because the ones that hate him for doing it are the ones he is trying to defend.

Get into office, draw new lines so your district is comprised of only those that voted for you in the first place and just keep running and draw new lines as needed. But O’Keefe never signs anything, he just points out how absurdly easy it is commit voter fraud at the polling stations.

Also, if you use facebook or any other social media, post a link to this article; Eric Holder and other administration officials need to have their feet held to the fire on this issue…even more so when White-house uses the D.O.J. to sue states trying to prevent voter fraud. From an article by John Fund on National Review Online: “Note that O’Keefe’s assistant never identified himself as Eric Holder, so he was not illegally impersonating him.
Nor did he attempt to vote using the ballot that was offered him, or even to accept it. O’Keefe has been accused by liberals of committing voter fraud in his effort to expose just how slipshod the election systems of various no-ID-required states are, but lawyers say his methods avoid that issue. Moreover, he has only taped his encounters with election officials in jurisdictions that allow videotaping someone in public with only one party’s knowledge.”

OK, let’s pretend he did commit fraud. It only shows how bad the current regulations are in not requiring ID. People who want to commit fraud can now steal elections with ease. You are presenting a false issue by concentrating on whether or not this is fraud. The true issue is that not requiring ID is just plain stupid. I think this argument started with the thread that O’Keefe should be worried that he might be in trouble legally. I wouldn’t worry about things any of us have or have not done. The guy who took his registration flagged it as suspicious, just like he’s supposed to, and turned it in even though he thought it might be fake, just like the law requires him to. It was investigated and turned out to be a real guy who is really named Duran Duran. That’s why people who take voter registrations have to turn all of them in. Ask yourself, if your last name was Duck, wouldn’t you at least think about naming your kids Donald and Daisy? I’m sure you wouldn’t do it, but you would think about it. Prosecute him for what? Looks like an honest mistake to me…

Never claims he is Eric Holder, just asks if there is one on the list.

When the ballot is offered, he’s not entirely sure that him being Eric Holder is correct, declines the ballot, insists on going out to the car to check his ID just to make sure.

I’m sure once he checked it out, and realized his mistake, he figured out where his polling place is, and went and cast his vote correctly.

Can’t prosecute someone for being unsure, and wanting to make sure the information is correct before completing the transaction. More people should do that in fact, courts are too crowded already.

This could have turned out to be a tragedy if he didn’t remember his ID was in the car, what if he forgot and left it at home? Why he might have ended up not getting proper credit for voting!

All because the administration can’t be bothered to help protect these forgetful and confused people, by requiring voters to bring their ID’s with them! Please… Can’t we think of the troubled folk among us!?

How long shall we allow this disenfranchisement of the amnesiacs among us! Aren’t we supposed to have equal protection for people with disabillities!?

Eric Holder should immediately launch an investigation into the callous indifference by our administration towards these poor souls!

This time it was too close! How many more people don’t find out until it is too late!

Your points are dead on as usual…even more scary is the fact that the NAACP has gone to the UN to press the case against the voter id issue…I fear the UN may be swayed to declare our own elections corrupt or inconclusive, thus suspending the results, leaving our Nation in a state of chaos and flux with Barry at the helm…this may in fact be the ‘other hand’ moment, Barrys’ Ace in the hole so to speak…

No kidding. I’m still waiting for a single recount that shows Gore beat Bush in Fla. Evidently that’s beside the point though.

For those that didn’t hear it – this is a must re what the Obama regime has done to fix the 2012 elections in his favor & maybe why he seems so confident — by Michael Savage —- this needs to be one of the TOP important issues to be exposed and fixed re voter fraud. Spread the word:

It’s always the simplest solution to the problem that is the correct one….
A Voter ID Card is the simplest solution.
If you’re against it, then you favor voter fraud.

Sadly there is great difficulty in ‘manning’ polling stations at election time.

There should be an IQ test for the people who work at the ;polls!! My God, this bozo didn’t recognize the name Eric Holder?? No wonder people get away with voter fraud. Even volunteers need to have a brain before we should allow them to do important jobs like working at the polling places. We need people who are informed and vigilant. This is truly frightening.

This so funny..yet the idiot Left and their supporters will still scream how needing an ID to Vote are racist….this is a prime example of why we need them, yet the idiot left will still scream against the very notion of the laws…Yes, the ‘Left’ is that stupid. They will try and spin this, just wait and see…‘I’ll be back Faster than you can say Furious..’…best line of the year!!!
