Olbermann Unleashes 20 Minute Tirade Against Tea Partiers: ‘Unqualified, Unstable Individuals’

Mediaite prepares its audience for Keith Olbermann’s Tea Party diatribe this way:

Conservatives and liberals alike will find their blood boiling when they watch the following video, in which Keith Olbermann delivers what he calls a “Special Comment” on the Tea Party’s midterm election candidates. In this nearly 20 minute-long segment, the Countdown host recites a long list of the movement’s affronts to progressivism before ending with a plea for all liberals, Democrats, disillusioned Republicans, moderates, and political neutrals to vote against the Tea Party next Tuesday.

Prepare yourself:

For those who couldn’t make it all the way through, Mediaite provides a transcript of the closing statement:

You are willing to let these people run this country? This is the America you want? This is the America you are willing to permit? These are the kinds of cranks, menaces, mercenaries, and authoritarians you will turn this country over to?

If you sit there next Tuesday and let that happen, whose fault will that be? Not really theirs—they are taught that freedom is to be seized and rationed. They can sleep at night, having advanced themselves and their puppeteers, and to hell with everybody else.

They see the greatness of America not in its people, but in its corporations. They see the success of America not in hard work, but in business swindles. They see the worthiness of America not in its quality of life, but in its quality of investing. They see the future of America not in progress, but in revolution to establish a kind of theocracy for white males with dissent caged and individuality suppressed.

They see America not for what it is or what it can be. They see delusions, specters, fantasies. They see communists under every bed and a gun in every hand. They see tax breaks for the rich, and delayed retirement for everyone else. They fight the redistribution of wealth not because they oppose redistribution, but because their sole purpose is to protect wealth and keep it where they think it belongs, in the bank accounts of the wealthy.

… But you know better. If you sit there next Tuesday, if you sit there tomorrow and the rest of this week and you let this cataclysm unfold, you have enabled this. It is one thing to be attacked by those who would destroy America from without. It is a worse thing to be attacked by those who would destroy America from within.

There is indeed someone who is unstable, unbalanced and generally unqualified to hold his post, but it is not the Tea Party/Conservative candidates, it is Keith “Odermann” Olbermann. Why doesn’t he just get a life. We should remember though that idiots always go down screaming and ranting.

@ Mur – If you are going to talk about ratings and percentages, you might want to look at the numbers that apply. Anyone can lowball numbers by using the entire population as a whole. If you look at the people who actually watch cable news, the ratings for Oct 26, Fox News carried 52.5% of all viewers – more than all others combined. Skew the numbers all you want, but when people want to watch cable news, they go to Fox. More than half of the people who watch cable news choose to drink the Red kool-aid.

Much more than this, he does so fully expecting the unstudied weaker minds to blindly accept it as truth. He proudly champions the party that demonstrates the behavior he rails against.

      His allegations?

“These are the kinds of cranks, menaces, mercenaries, and authoritarians you will turn this country over to?”

So, people who believe in individual freedom instead of social justice are mercenaries?

Here is what you and your ilk fail to understand:

The founding fathers were an evolutionary (we all know how Progressives love evolution) step forward for humanity. The recognized that individuals were free, they have rights, they are not beholden to a king, a czar, a ceasar or even a President.

They rejected the notion of collective salvation.

“They see the greatness of America not in its people, but in its corporations.”

Here, Olbermann mischaracterizes (lies) and misrepresents the ideas expressed within the Tea Party. You don’t see “Bail Out More Corporations!” signs at Tea Party rallies. Instead you see calls for a restoration of our founding principals.

What Olbermann is doing is called psychological transference. It is his belief that:

“the greatness of America not in its people, but in its government.”

“They see the success of America not in hard work, but in business swindles.”

It takes a level of profound ignorance to reach such a conclusion. The government rewards the business swindlers (and in many cases actively particpates). They punish hard work and individual achievement.

Olbermann, like all Progressives, believe it is each person’s responsibilty to support society instead of themselves. They assume people will act selfishly instead of selflessly. They believe that left to their own devices, people will not help their fellow man.

This gives them the moral justification for wealth redistribution and other social engineering.

“their sole purpose is to protect wealth and keep it where they think it belongs, in the bank accounts of the wealthy.”

Here Olbermann displays true economic ignorance and reveals the Progressive “Monty Burns” effect.

Rich people get rich by swindles, stealing and lying. They take their ill-gotten gains and stuff it under their mattress only to pull it every month to roll around in it. They use that money to buy yachts, luxury cars, mansions and planes.

They don‘t take what they’ve earned an invest it. They don’t expand their business. They don’t grow their company or start a new one.

They certainly don’t donate it to charity unless forced to by the government.

Olbermann only understands the dark side of human nature because that is the world in which he resides. In his warped view, the only people who get rich are the thieves and swindlers.

“revolution to establish a kind of theocracy for white males with dissent caged and individuality suppressed.”

Here Olbermann demonstrates his lack of Constitutional knowledge which drives the Tea Party movement. There is no desire to establish a theocracy, just an acknowledgement that when people lead moral lives based on a belief that our freedoms and liberties are individually based (and granted by God) then society as a whole prospers.

Look at how human life has changed since the emergence of America. Look at the advancements made, the diseases cured, the knowledge gained in such a short period of time.

To the Progressive, man is a stupid animal who needs to be lead into doing the “right thing” (ask Bill Maher).

That is the language of tyrants, which, in essence, is the road Progressives always take.

C10win…amazing how they are showing who they really are, I think he should get a thank you card with those flowers! The average democrat didn’t know these people were like this (at least I believe they didn’t), these people are insane and they are showing everyone with a massive fearlessness. They really think that America is with them. That wake up call in Nov. is going to send these wacky jobs over the edge. They haven’t seen anything yet.

Gee, that’s funny…I guess we’re not qualified to be Americans according to that clown…I must have missed something when I READ the Declaration of Independance and Constitution…because I see that the United States of America was founded on principles, a belief that man should be free, free from tyranny, free from unreasonable taxation and an oppressive government. And, I see that ALL left wing Democrat/Socialist/Marxist organizations want total goverment control, these organizations want Socialism and Marxism running the United States of America. These organizations want YOU to lose ALL of your rights and freedoms as Americans and replace them with the will of the government. These organizations are filled with WORTHLESS, LAZY, RACIST pigs that feel that they are OWED a living, paid for by YOU…the working, law abiding, honest American citizens…reminds me of a very, very true joke…”How do you starve a democrat? Hide his food stamps under his work boots”.

Only the Socialist/Marxist/Progressive left wing nut jobs believe in the filth spewing from this guys mouth which, isn’t AMERICAN.

Why does MSNBC have sportscaster hacks doing political shows? This one and the FAT one are awful.

Obama is now burning books like the Nazis did.

This comment does not necessarily reflect the views of Glenn Beck, The Blaze, theblaze.com, Fox News or anyone else for that matter. The FAT CLOWN ANCHOR at MSNBC can eat balls.

He is telling on the Democrats and calling it the tea party. No wonder their mascot is a donkey(ass), whata bunch of manure he is slinging. Sure sounded like a very angry man with roadrage and is a sore loser. Wonder how much Soros is paying him?. Glenn Beck has succeeded and they are pissed off. The truth of what they were up to has come into the light and light always dispels darkness. Hey their holiday is here, Halloween, maybe their head witch (Pelosi) will throw them a party because they are not invited to the TEA PARTY’S celebration on Tuesday, 2 Nov. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND GLENN BECK , HIS STAFF AND FOX NEWS!

What this guy needs is his butt kicked. I know we should not resort to violence, but I’m tired of people like this. They need to get the message that 1) they are in the minority, 2) their hatred for our country and her founding principles are a good reason to pack up and move somewhere better, 3) patriots take offense to this kind of rhetoric and we don’t forget, 4) speech is free, but there are consequences to verbally attacking people in this manner.

This is why the left has no credibility; they attack without substantiating anything. If they truly want to change peoples minds, they should try using facts once in awhile.

As for ‘UNQUALIFIED, UNSTABLE INDIVIDUALS’, I think this describes the MSNBC primetime lineup quite well.

What you are seeing folks is the last remnants of Olbermann’s sanity vanishing before your eyes. At some point he is going to no longer be able to deny that 60 to 70% of Americans are either Tea Party or identify with the Tea Party on some principles if not all. After that realization hits him, then it will dawn on him that only a mere 20% of the population actually thinks like he does. Add that to the folks only looking to keep those handouts coming, that’s only 30 to 40%.

If you remember, he had to be removed from commentary in the 2008 election because he nearly lost his mind, and that’s when his side won. I expect a full mental breakdown sometime around 11:00 pm on Tuesday, November 2nd. Restraints and security may be required.

That is why they try sooo hard to shut down “Factual News Outlets”. Some say the Dem‘s don’t get it. They GET IT! WE don’t WANT it! That is why they are running sooo scared! Please VOTE Tuesday!!!
