Olbermann Uses His Own Puppets to Mock Beck‘s Soros ’Puppet Master’

On Wednesday’s “Countdown” Keith Olbermann spent a segment mocking Glenn Beck’s expose on George Soros and his use of puppets. How? By using his own puppet show:

Here are Colby Hall’s thoughts on the matter:

…Mr. Olbermann’s refutation of Beck’s puppet theater bit lacks any actual intellectual criticism – it is nothing but mockery, contempt and yes – his own satirical version of a puppet show. What does this say about Olbermann’s regard for his audience’s intellect that he uses the very same metaphor to mock Beck’s? That’s not satire. That’s intellectual laziness.

Everyone misses the point, Soros has bought MSNBC, not directly but in directly. NBC is an arm of Soros, Progressive Insurance is owned by Soros, Soros has bought many media outlets, he is devaluing the dollar just like every other place he has destroyed.

If Soros owns most of the media, do you think they will report anything?

I agree – if Olbermann had any ammo in his arsenal he would have used it. Instead he mocks and ridicules – find, apparently any clown on MSNBC can do that but as a commentator your job is to enlighten people, to give your perspective to the news, to add to the conversation. I find it rather amusing the left like to portray the right as intellectually lacking yet I can see no signs of intelligence in the left’s favorite son, Keith Olbermann. His mocking of Beck wasn’t even funny so he even failed in that lame attempt. Is it any wonder he has no audience except perhaps the poor people from the Blaze that are doomed to watch MSNBC to see what other outrageous thing they will do.

Glenn Beck’s television series on George Soros is coming to an end and will soon fade into the ether, and out of the public consciousness. This cannot be allowed to happen. By Glenn’s own reckoning, about 3 million people viewed last night’s show worldwide. If all of those people were watching in the US, that would still only be about 3 percent of the population. This is not enough. The American people need to see this. Glenn Beck’s books, especially “Broke”, which I just finished reading, are great. However, I know too many people who either don’t have the time or inclination to read. They need to see things with their own eyes. This is what the show provides.

I understand that Glenn does not own the rights to his own television broadcasts. FOX does. This is my plea to them. Please put this series on DVD and sell them at cost. I understand that FOX is a good capitalist company and would want to sell them at a profit, like CNBC does. That is all good and proper. Ask for what the market would bear. However, capitalists also ensue short-term profits in hopes for a greater return down the road. Selling these DVDs at cost could be considered great advertising for them.

If the price of a DVD were in the 2-dollar range, for example, I would personally buy a hundred of them and give them to everyone I know. That could certainly be considered a good return on their investment if others did the same thing.

One other thing to consider….. If Mr. Soros has his way, there would be no more capitalism anyway. No profits. When capitalism is under attack, and you make your living as a capitalist, your way of life is also under attack. George has the head start. This may help even things out. Please think carefully and pray you do the right thing for yourself and your way of life.

Libertarianeven, you are a total fool. Soros makes more money in a day than you in a year because of capitalism. This whole puppetmaster thing is garbage. His liberal views and causes are the same as many other rich guys (Buffett, Burkle, Brod, Gates, etc.) and Beck wants to discredit them. While Olbermann’s critique was indeed intellectually lazy, Beck doesn’t want a smart one either–lest he have to explain his relationship with the Koch brothers and their relationship to all sorts of right wing groups doing the same stuff that left wing groups, supported by Soros but also many other liberals, do. This whole thing shows just how partisan he is. He only calls out one side although the other side is doing the same thing with twice the vigor and under darker cover. Go read the New Yorker piece on the Koch Brothers and tell me that they are better than Soros. All of this is nonsense to boost Beck’s ratings. You remain ignorant and he laughs all the way to the bank.

      ABC…

I knew you were a closet liberal. Now it comes out.

The point that Soros is using 501(c)3′s is only a small part of the problem – it is his IDEOLOGY we hate. I am glad the Koch brothers are out there and I don’t mind people having money or power (only Communists get so jealous of rich people they want to take it all away) as long as they use it for good.

The problem is the Soros tactic of wanting to take down American as a world leader. He wants to usurp our power. Why? is the question I keep asking. Other rich people don’t become overboard control freaks like Soros has.

I agree with Beck – it is a God complex. Soros is toying with us because he can – we AMUSE him. I also have other theories about Soros, none of them good.

Olbermann likes to use fast talk like his hero Dennis Miller (who could care less about him) but lacks any timing and intellect to make a real point as he rides the coattails of Fox and Glenn Beck. Glenn has systematically kept MSNBC in business by his sheer existence and Fox News is half of MSNBC’s programming agenda. Basically, MSNBC waits to see shows from O’Reilly, Beck, Hannity and Greta and then finds clever double speak to associate blame and fault while building their programming. So essentially they are always a day behind in current events and they wait for FOX to do the work and then piggy back to take credit. Gotta love those libs!

Glenn spends time researching and making valid points on facts and undisputable evidence and uses history, unlike MSNBC, to prove trends as history is absolute and can’t be disputed. Liberals feel that they are more evolved and ignore trends and history thinking they can get it right…lunacy! Conservatives actually LEARN from their mistakes and make necessary changes while liberals keep going back to the empty pond to fish. So who is really evolving here?

I look at Olbermann‘s characterization of Beck’s program as the perfect illustration of how delusional liberals distort reality. Rather than even attempting to rebut the facts that Beck presented, old “Keefer” simply mocked and attacked the PROPS Beck used to illustrate his points.

Which is the usual far left response to ANY factual information.

Apparently Keef DOES know how to read, since his methods are straight out of “Rules for Radicals”.

I, unfortunately, sat here and watched about half of the rest of Olbermann‘s shows that appear after you watch the video on his mocking Glenn’s using puppets to get the message across about Soros. I’m so sorry I began watching. Talk about biased! How dare he criticize Fox News for anything! He is full of B.S. and a lot of meaningless, unsubstantiated talk. How his show remains on the air is unbelievable. MSNBC caved on letting him go. It was the right decision, but a few thousand people who signed a petitition (and are these people even real, cause he sure isn’t) forced them to bring him back. I’m sure anyone could come up with a few thousand people to sign another petitition to get him off the air again. Somebody start this up, please. On Twitter.
