On ‘Hannity’, Bachmann Now Accepts Wallace‘s ’Flake’ Apology

On Sunday, Fox News’s Chris Wallace asked Michele Bachmann what has since been characterized as an inappropriate question: is she a flake? Wallace quickly realized what he had done, and taped an apology that appeared online. Monday, a reporter asked Bachmann if she accepted that apology. In short, she didn’t, and explained why the question was insulting. But that all changed last night.

During an interview with Sean Hannity, Bachmann said that she received a personal phone call from Wallace “at supper time” (the first time she had heard from him “directly”) and he apologized. According to her, she was “happy” to accept it and she considers the issue over:

A personal phone call is the only kind of apology that can be accepted. Wallace’s initial video apology was not really an apology; merely admitting he made a mistake to stop the damage to his reputation. Even in that initial video apology, he is rude and disrespectful insinuating that others call her that not himself. As others have already commented, there is a subtle underlying bigger problem in that strong confident conservative women are viewed as ‘flakes’… it is sexist. My bigger problem is with people like Mark Davis or Hugh Hewitt who think Bachmann should just automatically and quickly accept any non-apology. No, the attitude on display by Chris Wallace is partly what is wrong with American politics and it ought to be examined… they are sounding like drive-by media. If these attitudes are not examined in depth, these people will succeed doing to Bachmann what they have done to Palin. Chris Wallace certainly showed very little principle or integrity with that ‘question’.

Chris got it wrong. The charge is that she was FLAKING, not flaky! He meant to ask her what she was doing about her FLAKING problem. Has she like gone to her hairdresser to explore possible solutions to her FLAKING problem? Has she like tried different shampoos? Has she like chatted with her girl friends about it? What does her husband think about her FLAKING problem? Is she like totally embarrassed about her FLAKING? How can she like possibly solve the budget deficit when she has this FLAKING problem?

In other words “Don’t you know conservative women are too stupid to be seen in public? Why don’t you get the hell out Washington and go back and cook dinner or something?”

Bachman now accepts apology is the headline for this story. Well, hmm.. The Blaze is starting to look a lot like the ones they claim to oppose. Bachman never turned down an apology. Bachman did not receive an apology until she received the call during that supper she spoke about. Don’t be a hate monger here at The Blaze like the rest! Do your homework or at least pay attention.

I don’t think Wallance meant to attack her, but wanted her to address the fact that she is viewed by the MSM as a flake. He was wanting to nip it in the bud right away, except it just came out wrong.

Now it’s time for Bachmann to rise up and kick some progressive arses.

It’s not about Republican vs. Democrat or man vs. woman. We are voting to turn the country around and save it. If we allow progressives to erode the constitution any more, we are lost forever. This election needs to be a referendum on the constitution as the founders intended or we go over the cliff.

If you notice her answer was way too quick and way to prepared. It may or may not provide some cover for her ignorant statements of the past, but like Palin or O‘Donnell she can’t help herself and will commit many more. For example confusing John Wayne with a serial killer in a prepared speech regarding her home town. It is this type of preparation and attention to detail we need in elected officials. LOL

As SHASTADIANE1 mentioned, Nancy Pelosi is the queen of all flakes and if so, Joe Biden is the King. But Emperor Barack is the master. If he didn’t have the Democrat media to cover for his pathetic gaff prone @ss, the country would see the truth, which is that he is far, far more gaff prone than the ‘supposedly’ dumb George Bush ever was. He’s in fact not even as smart as GW and that’s just the plain truth. That Barry appears smart is just simply sleight of hand illusion. Everything stands on its head in a liberal dominated world. Delusion, lies and insanity is the name of their game.

I’m still wondering where that mythical 58th state of the Great Pretender’s is? Oh, there it is just up ahead. It’s the state of misery he’s carefully guiding us toward. The only thin solace is that the lefties will fare far worse in that world than we will. They don’t know it yet because they can’t see past their noses but they’ve cut off their noses to spite their own poor, pitiable faces. They’re working feverishly for their own destruction but the irony of it escapes them because while they are clever, they are also dumb as a board. We are preparing. The left still thinks that ice berg we intentionally steered into and struck is breath of fresh air! LoL… Poor, dumb victims of their own ideology.
