The Muslim Brotherhood turned a prominent Cairo mosque into the site of a hateful anti-Israel rally in Egypt Friday, with participants chanting “Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv, judgement day has come“ and vowing ”one day we shall kill all the Jews.”
Some 5,000 worshipers had come to the mosque to pray, with the Brotherhood – poised to win big in Egypt’s parliamentary elections next week — then imploring them to stay to support the “battle against Jerusalem’s Judaization,” according to YNet News. The rally coincided with the anniversary of the 1947 U.N. partition plan calling for the establishment of a Jewish state.

Speakers at the event delivered impassioned, hateful speeches against Israel, slamming the “Zionist occupiers” and the “treacherous Jews.” Upon leaving the rally, worshippers were given small flags, with Egypt’s flag on one side and the Palestinian flag on the other, as well as maps of Jerusalem’s Old City detailing where “Zionists are aiming to change Jerusalem’s Muslim character.”

Spiritual leader Dr. Ahmed al-Tayeb charged in his speech that to this day Jews everywhere in the world are seeking to prevent Islamic and Egyptian unity.
“In order to build Egypt, we must be one. Politics is insufficient. Faith in Allah is the basis for everything,” he said. “The al-Aqsa Mosque is currently under an offensive by the Jews…we shall not allow the Zionists to Judaize al-Quds (Jerusalem.) We are telling Israel and Europe that we shall not allow even one stone to be moved there.”
The Koran quote “one day we shall kill all the Jews” was repeated multiple times, and both Muslim Brotherhood spokesmen and Palestinian guest speakers called for jihad and for liberating the whole of Palestine, according to YNet. Additionally, businessmen in the crowd were told to invest their funds in Jerusalem to prevent Jews from acquiring land and homes.
Elementary school teacher Ala al-Din told YNet at the rally that “all Egyptian Muslims are willing to embark on Jihad for the sake of Palestine.”
“Why is the U.S. losing in Afghanistan? Because the other side is willing and wants to die. We have a different mentality than that of the Americans and Jews,” he said.

In muslim art, the moon and venus represent the fertility of male/female. They won’t tell you that since they are many generations removed fm the use of the symbols in that way. All Mohammad did was take his chief god and make it universal, while absorbing some of the other polytheistic traits and symbols into his new religion.

On the subject of Iran’s subs. Go to maps at google and put in Iran (satellite view). Then look at the port southwest of Bandar E Abbas. Yes, the one that as you zoom in looks as it is giving you the finger. Go to the east (right or folded fingers side) of the port to the eastern most docks to see a couple of Iran’s diesel subs, and on the north end of the pier, one of its diesel mini-subs. Those are great for “hide and seek” strikes among the islands just inside the Straits.
While on that map, zoom out halfway or so and go to an island halfway across (down) the gulf known as Abu Musa. Zoom in on the eastern side of the island (right side). Look around. Those bunkers aren’t for storing potatoes! There are plenty other interesting places to look at on that map, but too many to go into here.

The US no longer has diesel boats to patrol our own coasts, let alone steal along the coast of a hostile. We use only nuke boats of various designs and tasks. Nuke boats use water to cool the reactor. Water bubbles are the sounds that passive sonar hunts. Each sub has a signature sound, esp when it is moving, even slowly. The screws (propeller) make a sound that identifies each individual sub.
The Russians sold many of theirs to our enemies who have not maintained them to make them truly silent. Iran, China, and Cuba were equipped that way. The Iranians are notoriously lousy mechanics though. However, they could get one up to snuff and w/a kamikaze skipper do us some serious damage.
Make no mistake, any sub that attacks us will die in the hunt that follows. We are that good. Nevertheless, a “failure of imagination” is generally what kills us: Pearl Harbor, Apollo 1, 9/11, Challenger, etc. We fail to imagine that we could be hurt.

2) Nuclear powered subs can stay underwater for weeks, if not months, at a time depending on the amount of foodstuffs the sub has been supplied with prior to leaving port.

Diesel subs don’t need to surface to recharge the batteries, it can “snorkel” at 20-40 ft. under. The snorkel is visible though so this is typically only done at night.
