How does outgoing Senator Chris Dodd (D-CT) get out this?:
By deleting it and saying this:
And releasing this:
Due to a technical mistake, a message was inadvertently sent from Senator Dodd’s twitter account. Senator Dodd did not send the message. We have corrected the situation and apologize to his followers for the mistake and inappropriate language used in the message.
Not surprisingly, when we called for a comment the press office was “busy.” We‘ll let you know if we hear back regarding what exactly the Senator’s office means by a “technical mistake.”

Not being a twit-ter myself, I always thought the idea was that it gave a window into the thoughts of the person tweeting… If I were following an individual and now learned it was a ‘staffer’ that I was following..
Then again, they don’t write their own speeches anymore, so why should we believe they bother to think for themselves? Or perhaps they are simply too busy and think it is ok to deceive their followers.. ‘Homer Simpson won’t know the difference anyway.’

I mean it is the “official twitter feed” for his senate office, maybe he is just incompetent, not malicious… Maybe.

I think a civil suit is in order for Chris Dodd for his lack of oversight of Fannie and Freddie, plaintiffs being those who lost their homes due to the housing crash. Can’t get them in office but maybe when they get out – I think they need some of the misery they have caused us.
