Oops: CNN Anchors Dial Wrong Number On-Air — Wake Man Up at 3am

CNN Early Start has only been on air for a week, but they registered their first viral clip Monday. Luckily, little damage was done aside from interrupting the sleep of one man who had a phone number too similar to comedian Chuck Nice.

The CNN show, which leads into the also-new “Starting Point” hosted by Soledad O’Brien, was carrying out a lovely segment called “Wake ‘Em Up!”, where they dial in to friends during the 6:00 am (3:00 am West Coast) hour.

During Monday’s segment, hosts Ashleigh Banfield and Zoraida Sambolin quickly realized that the random man whith a Spanish accent answering his phone at 3:40 am his time, was in fact not their friend Chuck Nice.
