Oops! Secret Service Tweets Anti-Fox News Message

Let‘s preface this by saying this is an easy mistake that’s happening more and more as social media becomes a prominent marketing tool. But considering this happened at the Secret Service, where “secret” is in the title and privacy is so important, it adds a level of “uh oh.”
A person who works for the Secret Service* and who is in charge of the organization’s tweets also has a personal Twitter account. And when that person went to send a message from his personal account, he actually sent it from the Secret Service’s site. Oops.
That mix-up produced this message about Fox News:
According to readers on the site ShortFromBlog, the tweet was removed minutes later.
It’s unclear if the person responsible was removed just as quickly. However, in a statement to the Washington Post, the Secret Service admitted the mistake and said the person no longer has access to the account:
“An employee with access to the Secret Service’s Twitter account, who mistakenly believed they were on their personal account, posted an unapproved and inappropriate tweet. The tweet contained no vulgarity, security or pertinent agency information. The tweet did not reflect the views of the U.S. Secret Service and it was immediately removed.
“We apologize for this mistake, and the user no longer has access to our official account. Policies and practices which would have prevented this were not followed and will be reinforced for all account users. We will ensure existing policies are strictly adhered to in order to prevent this mistake from being repeated, and we are conducting appropriate internal follow-up.”

It also suggests that any conservative U.S. citizen had better watch out very carefully and that no conservative may expect justice when dealing with any government agency.
The use of the word “monitor” is a huge red flag. No one in government should ever “monitor” anything or anyone other than foreign communications.
I personally will never trust a single person in this government again. Not as long as I live.

What kind of information are they tweeting out to their followers ?

The primary one is that this is one person, one tweet of 11 words, and you say, “Given the animosity of Secret Service towards FOX…” That’s called “over generalization.” You’ve taken 11 words from one Secret Service agent who thought he was speaking anonymously and assume that the other 10,000 (more or less) Secret Service agents also have the same feelings about FOX. That’s not only not logical, it’s absurd, it’s irrational.
But it is the modice operandi of the right wing news you love. A single person’s view, out of the millions or billions of some group or another that person is member of is represented as the opinion of the entire group. It works because it feeds whatever prejudice you have. Makes life simple. A black or white world without any gray is a simple one to understand, and the right wing represents all issues that way. Because that simple way of presenting the news appeals to a certain group who already have their minds made up, have a prejudice of one kind or another, and don’t want any nuance.
BTW, being a Secret Service agent is a job that doesn’t change with the president changes. Like policeman, they keep their jobs even if the mayor changes. Obama didn’t hire this guy.

They were eliminated on the Night of the Long Knives by Heinrich Himmler’s SS (Scheutz Steuffel) Black Shirts, lightening bolt runes, on the order of Adolph Hitler. It seems Roehm had gotten too in love with his own power, plus he and a number of the SA were homosexual, which did not sit well with Himmler’s ideas of racial purity. So Hitler and Himmler used the Leibstandarte (Bodyguard) to arrest Roehm and the bulk of the SA at a resort and imprisoned them at Auschwitz. Roehm was murdered when he refused to commit suicide and the remainder of the SA was either killed or “reeducated” and most ended up serving with units on the Russian Front. The point of all this is to hopefully educate you morons of the left on the proper usage of SS SA Brownshirts and Nazis. If you are going to try and insult us please use the proper terms, you idiots….just sayin’

Posted on May 18, 2011 at 10:08pmOkay pay attention. The SS(Schuetz Steuffel) grew from the Leibstandarte Adolph Hitler (LAH) into an elite formation of highly trained and motivated Army units. From the single Battalion of elite bodyguards they grew into a large armed force divided into two formations. The Waffen SS were essentially elite army formations, Armored(Panzer) and Mechinized Infantry(Panzer Grenadier). These units were given the best equipment and additional training and were usually used as the Schwerpunkt(Spearpoint). The Totenkopf(Deaths Head) were usually used as the camp gaurds. For interesting reading look up the Charlemaign and 13th Mountain(Hanschar) Waffen SS divisions. All SS men were required to be members of the National Socialist Party(Nazi). The Gestapo was the Secret Police(Geheim Staat Polezi) and was analogous to the Soviet KGB.

You can’t of course. You’re judging 10,000 Secret Service agents who serve this country as patriotic Americans, saying they are unAmerican based on a post by someone that he wasn’t fond of listening to FOX.
You may not realize that Secret Service agents aren’t hired by the President any more than policemen are all hired by the new Mayor of your town. It’s a job that runs across administrations.

As I said, there is AMPLE proof that animosity towards FOX is the standard default position of this WH.
It won’t surprise me that all those who work for/at this WH have similar tendencies.
The brazen and confident manner with which this agent tweeted his feelings about FOX and whatever else he does at his place of work proves that animosity towards FOX is not only accepted , it is encouraged at that establishment. Its only human for those who hate FOX to try to harm the faces of FOX, some of which are politically very high profile , and not much liked by the WH .

The guy made a person tweet (he thought) that he didn’t like watching FOX. One guy, eleven words, including “blathering.” Based on that little tweet, you’ve concluded that that every single Secret Service agent has animosity toward FOX. Then you go even further to say it proves the Secret Service actively encourages agents to dislike FOX. To call that line of thought “over generalization” is an understatement.
But let’s run with it. Not only does the SS actively support anti-FOX sentiment, the tweet actually proves that the SS actually requires you to be anti-FOX to keep their jobs. And what follows, that SS agents must actually hate Republican and vote Democrat or go to the unemployment line. Furthermore they’ve been instructed to not protect Bush anymore, but make sure the bad guys know where is at all times. The SS is actually actively cooperation with evil people who would do harm any conservative.
Pretty amazing how much you can conclude from one tweet. Fun too!
