Oprah Asks Obama Why He Waited So Long to Release Birth Certificate

Birther or not, many people who knew President Obama was born in Hawaii were still a little curious why Obama waited this long to end the craziness surrounding rampant speculation about his birth certificate. Today, Obama’s friend Oprah Winfrey raised that question, asking the President “why did you wait so long” to release the birth certificate?

      No, natural born citizen means citizen by birth, you don’t need to be a lawyer to know that, you just need a dictionary. The Supreme Court ruled over a hundred years ago that anyone born here is a natural born citizen regardless of the citizenship of their parents, and that’s been the law of the land ever since. If you don’t agree with this, you can go to the current Court, read them that drivel you linked to, and try to convince them that it is a reason to overturn a precedent that’s stood for almost half our history. After that nobody whose parents aren’t both citizens will ever be able to run again.

    Bush II was a goof and now another. BTW he’s still not “Natural Born”. He maybe (?) a citizen but not eligible for president. But once the bull breaks the corral you still need to fix it and send the bull to pasture, or another procedure.

      Also, his mother was refused boarding a flight from Kenya just two days before his birth. His father (and child) are on a manefest leaving Kenya for Hawaii two days later. His mother followed two days after that and his grandmother and aunt claim they witnessed the birth in Kenya. There are also some problems with the serial numbers on his certificate. He has a lower number than a pair of twins born the day before him.
      This answers nothing. There are in fact now MORE questions than before.

      ….and as you said the issue of ‘Natural Born’ still remains. If he was in fact born in Hawaii he was born to a non citizen, Kenyan (British Empire) father. He also was stripped of any American citizenship by his step father in indonesia as a child. All of this is explained in the vid link provided. Most of us have seen it already, but for the few who may not have….have a look see.

    He waited so long because it benefited him to do so. As long as he let the doubt persist, then he and the media could continue to marginalize those that questioned it and associate it with conservatism. Once someone as powerful as Donald Trump took it mainstream, he realized he had exhausted the benefits and that it was time to end the controversy.

    I didn’t here an answer as to “Why he waited so long”. The only story (if there is one) is in the answer to that question. I will bet you a-dollar-to-a-doughnut we will never get a straight answer. We know that it is not because he doesn’t want a “side-show” because his entire presidentcy has been a side show, slight-of-hand, nickel-dime, jive-a$$ bunch of…. well you get the idea.

      The media has NOT asked the question. The purpose for the term used -“Natural Born Citizen” (as distinct from the more common “Native Born Citizen” ) was an issue of assuring the nation that the man elected to the most powerful Office would more likely manifest allegiance to no other sovereign nation. Hence the term “natural born citizen” i.e. born of parents(plural) who were also citizen by birth.
      The 0 has not manifest any such allegiance to these United States–only his contempt for US and our way of life.

      It’s funny. When I was born, I came out of the darkness, into the light. Then someone smacked my ass and I howled. I don’t remember any of it.

      My mother told me some things that I did as a baby, but my first memory was from being about three years old, in Chicago. Another boy and I were in a crawl space under a house. We found a gun and hid it again. When I went back for it, it was already gone. The other boy must have beat me to it. I don’t remember ever seeing the boy or the gun again.

      There are several good reasons why I am not the President of the United States. The most obvious one is my deficient memory. I have few memories prior to 1948, when I was five. Our President, on the other hand, remembers his birth. He obviously has a superior mind.

      With such a great mind, why does he have to lie so much?

    Obama caused the distraction with the birth certificate. If he is the unifier, why does he do everything he can to divide America. On every issue, Obama divides this country. Why? It appears that he is actually trying to divide us into political camps. I know it has divided me to the point I have trouble sleeping and just going about my daily life. He does things to hurt America. That cannot be tolerated. We must get rid of Obama or we will go into a deep and lasting recession or depression.

      The constitution states that you have to be a natural born citizen.That means that both his mother and father have to be citizens.The constitution does not say that you have to be a citizen,or a naturalized citizen.It says natural born citizen which is a different thing.This birth certificate confirms that although he may well be a citizen,he is not a natural born citizen.That makes it unconstitutional for him to be president.

How is it the paper is computer generated, the tech was not developed yet? What RACE is AFRICAN? Where is momma Dunham’s address? As to the serial numbers, there is a valid HI BC of another person, born after Obama, yet Obama’s serial number is lower than his…LOL I smell lots of RATS!!!!

      This chase after the birth certificate has a significant number of people looking in the wrong direction. The reason why a New Zealander (me) pleads with you to drop this nonsense is because your nation’s economy has a great effect on ours. (And also, of course, many other nations.) It is often said over here that, if America sneezes, New Zealand catches a cold.

      The economy is what everybody should keep a laser-like focus on, not this silly sideshow. Second only to defence of the nation and its citizens, it is the most important function of any government. It suits Obama well to have everybody bickering about this and not concentrating on his administrations failures and shortcomings. Please keep your attention on the objective.

      To employ a rugby phrase that was drummed into us as ten-year-olds by the coach: If we wanted to win, we must “PLAY THE BALL AND NOT THE MAN”.

      I don’t know. I wasn’t sleeping one night and I was flipping through the channels. I ended up on the Oprah Channel. She was filming an episode where her and her friend (lover?) were going camping. Oprah was such a [female dog]! Now I do not watch this show, so I do not understand the attraction. But I have to say that I have had a lifetime dose of Oprah in one hour of viewing. She is dainty little queen that is completely annoyed by any little thing that the common folk need to deal with day-to-day.

      Interesting remarks. Here are two people, born impoverished, to single parents, who rose to become among the most power people in the world: Obama became President, Oprah to become a billionaire media titan.

      That is, pure and simple, the American Dream come true, the opportunity we all want for every American, and most of all our children.

      Funny how everyone here hates them, while they love The Donald, a person born into privilege and financial and social elitism.

      Is it any wonder people question why you hate, demean, dismiss and ridicule Obama and Oprah, while you love The Donald?

      I was doing some work on my computer at Home, a little earlier today
      had the TV on, Someone had a clip of Obama, I think with Oprah,
      I though I heard him say, “I know where I was born, because I was there”
      Sounded a little weird, Kinda gave me a HUH ?? moment..I got up to go
      watch the show, by the time I got there, they had gone to commercial…
      I’m hope it will be on YouTube, have to find that one. Sure they will hide
      this one….

      Hey Dustyluv.
      This is the greatest gift Barry could have given,

      A birth certificate that he himself claims is real, that list his birth father as a “citizen of Kenya” and a subject of the United Kingdom.

      This is proof positive that he is an American citizen AND proof positive he is NOT eligible to be President of the United States as he is not by law a “Natural Born” citizen.

      Immigrants who become naturalized are citizens, anchor babies are citizens, Barry is a citizen, but BY LAW a natural born citizen is “Born on US soil to two US citizen Parents” Barry’s daddy was a subject of English monarchy which disqualifies him from being “Natural Born”. Therefore disqualifies him from being POTUS and HE Himself claims it to be real. The Supreme Court has ruled on this before, and as recently as 2008 on the John McCain case.

      Let’s see him smooth his way out of this…

      No reason to hate her, she’s insignificant, except to her audience. What’s that, maybe 3%, at the absolute most? At least she asked the question; notice how perennial soft-ball-er Matthews responds with a “blow-off look. As if she stepped off the reservation for a moment and shouldn’t have brought it up the their messiah. Matthews, Oprah… all those in that league are insignificant. Oprah is slightly less insignificant than Matthews. IMMVHO, the clip doesn’t deserve any attention.
