O‘Reilly Calls AP Honcho’s Introduction of Obama a Sign of ‘Dirty’ Media Tactics to Come

Bill O’Reilly, in his Talking Points Memo segment tonight, suggested that President Obama has allies in the media who are now all but openly professing their support for him and their disdain for anyone else. His evidence was the recent, arguably fawning introduction of Obama by AP Chairman Dean Singleton, as well as a segment on Mitt Romney’s religion aired by famously anti-Mormon MSNBC contributor Lawrence O’Donnell.
O‘Reilly didn’t find either the introduction or the O’Donnell segment surprising, but he did warn his viewers that they could be signs of an extremely dirty political campaign to come.
For those unaware of the context of this segment, let’s start with the introduction. As Investors’ Business Daily put it:
The charade ended long ago in regard to the dominant media’s “objectivity.” Tuesday’s love letter to President Obama from the chairman of the Associated Press just confirms the obvious.
The only thing separating AP Chairman and newspaper mogul Dean Singleton’s gushing introduction of President Obama to an Associated Press luncheon in a fancy Washington hotel from an Obama 2012 campaign rally was the absence of the line, “and now the next president of the United States.”
You would never imagine Singleton was describing a president who in just over three years has added nearly $5 trillion to the national debt — more than twice that of the Bush administration’s eight years.
As to O‘Donnell’s segment on Mormonism, in which he accused Mormonism’s founder Joseph Smith of having 48 wives – a practice which his religion was created to “sanction,” it‘s hardly the first time O’Donnell has been so savagely anti-Romney. In fact, in 2007, O’Donnell went off on Romney for subscribing to what he called a “racist faith.” Watch the previous outburst below:
O‘Donnell’s anti-mormon bigotry shouldn’t be anything new. However, it will prove to be a bit of an albatross for Romney come the general election.

How did we allow a propaganda network like MSNBC to emerge? They get their marching orders from the current administration, and the major Networks? They are certainly leaning with them as well. We have no media anymore that holds any of them accountable; they only hold accountable those who have different views. And like lost sheep, they have brainwashed many.

He has such little faith in Obama on fixing the economy that if Obama had the 15 trillion in his pocket to pay off the national debt, O’Reilly would still think Obama would be a failure. One thing he does say about Obama and, I tend to agree, he is a brilliant politician. Obama is so slick he makes slick Willy look like sandpaper.

I think that this is the same with Muslims unless you can justify the means and end game (something like that). Back when the FBI was being the FBI most of them were made up of Mormans because they were clean cut and had better upbringing and displayed what should be displayed in their behavior. They all seemed to do well. We need some kind of moral stabilitya and behavior out of that bunch who are not in the seat of government. God may give us all another chance to kick these parasites out of our White House. If not, then we all better start looking up for His redemption drawth nigh, indeed.

With your comments about FBI. You commented that “Back when the FBI”. That is still the case. Nearly all the 3 letter organizations (FBI, CIA, NSA and so on) recruit heavily at BYU for several reasons. At one time if you were ever found guilty of any felony or participated in illegal behavior, most notably smoking pot, you could never get a security clearance and that would preclude you from working for those organizations. Since Bill Clinton became President, they have since relaxed that requirement somewhat but now what they are really looking for foreign languages. With all those returned missionaries who went on foreign missions, and they read, write and speak the languages like natives and they know the people like no other 20 somethings.
My last comment will inflame those who have hatred for Mormon is often displayed in these comment sections. They are looking for people who are patriotic, honest, clean living, healthy quality people. There are few places better to look than a LDS congregations or BYU. I am not saying that they have a corner on virtue nor am I saying that those places don’t have some real stinkers but your chances are better and the recruiters are aware of that.

At least Jones gives information on where to go look for the truth. I like John B. Wells host on coast to coast am – and he is always on top of stuff. Brian Williams and the ilks of him look like stuffed freaky toys, and sound like monotonous recordings. Unfortunately, Williams is not just boring, he is proving to be an instigator. He apparently is not courageous enough to be a race-baiter so gets others to do it for him. Ugh to him
Why can’t conservative talk show hosts just all get along? We need a strong alliance now more than ever.

We have not had tv in our home for six years, and every time we stay in a hotel, we are reminded of why we stopped. We refuse to pay for the GARBAGE the networks produce. We use the internet to research the news. That is the only thing we are willing to pay for. Sadly, few are willing to cut the proverbial umbilical chord. We purchase the movies we choose to watch, and we watch them at our liesure,without the interruption of five min. of commercials every ten min. Even this has become a problem. There is so much propoganda. We took our daughter to “The Lorax”, and it was loaded with anti-capitalism messages… The industry and those employed there are whores to the administration. Actors we have loved for years open their mouths to speak politically, and BASH the system that provides the freedoms that allowed them to be who they are. Many have commented in different blogs of how the Jews will continue to support this administration. Israel is in danger, and if this current administration succeeds in their endeavor, most of the people supporting it will lose the ability to continue the lives they lead, apparently too ignorant to see it? How exactly does Pelosi think she will be allowed to continue in politics when women aren’t even allowed to drive in muslim nations for example? Will actors continue to earn their outrageous pay when obama gets finished wreaking havoc on America? It’s time to stand
