Posted on January 11, 2011 at 1:33amThe amount of hatred and evil coming from the left over the last couple of days is staggering. They thought last November was bad, wait until 2012. Independents like myself are being permanently turned off of the democratic party. In 2008, I don’t think anyone realized that there was this much pure evil hidden within the democratic party. Sad and scary.

You must live in an alternate universe. How about that Dem having his office window shot out, and it was found out that he paid a union guy to do it. LOL!
The American people told the Democrats that we didn’t want any part of Obama Care. We came from all political spectrums. The Democrats refused to listen to the People, and decided that Obama needed this nightmare in the History books for Obama as an “achievement”.
They completely disregarded the Will of the People for Obama’s “glory”. Remember Jimmy Carter lamenting that “he could have pass National Healthcare, but Ted Kennedy didn’t want him to have the credit”? Obama Care has nothing to do with what is good for the USA, Obama just wants the glory.
Anyway, this is the MAIN reason that so many Democrats were booted out of the House. There’s mainly far-left, nuts left because their electorate is as loony as they are. However, they are a very small number in the House – just as their electorate is.
The far-left is gasping at straws, because the majority of us do not agree with their big government ideas. We don’t want it, and we won’t have it.
No one agrees with people like Krugman, or the AZ Sheriff. They just refuse to believe it.

2) No one is defending Jared–he’s scum. He’s an idiot, and probably “insane,” in the sense that his communication, empathy, mental process are significantly deviant from the cultural norm. He shot a 9 yr. old girl–we all know he’s a villain.

Posted on January 11, 2011 at 2:11amI’m sorry, I should have said, “no one who is saying anything reasonable or not being taken out of context by hypersensitive conservatives looking for an excuse to play the victim (which is ironic because they condemn a perception of this behavior in minorities) is blaming Sarah Palin.”
Obviously Palin doesn’t have a connection (unless it turns out the shooter confesses she did. LOL. But he‘s so crazy from what I’ve read–look at his youtube vid’s; totally incoherent, I wouldn’t even read too much into that, as I’m not sure he knows who Sarah Palin is.
The point is Sarah Palin is politically incompetent (and yeah, I know Democrats did an almost identical ad in 2006, and it was in bad taste then too). I’m not saying she broke laws, I‘m not saying it was outside the freedom of speech she’s guaranteed, and I’m not saying it has any causal connection–understand what I am saying; the choice of political rhetoric, like that which she chose, has a direct reflection on the image a politician shapes for themselves. Sarah Palin chose rhetoric that could easily conceivably portray in her very negative light. It was aggressive, it was offensive to many of the Congressmen on the list, and in light of the tragic coincidence, it reflects very bad politically. She need not have exposed herself to such political backlash had she exercised the proper judgment THAT I SHOULD EXPECT A POLITICAL ELITE, ESPECIALLY ONE THAT STYLES HERSELF A PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE NO LESS TO HAVE LEARNED. Which means either one of two things; 1) The usage of aggressive rhetoric and framing was important enough to Palin for her to see it worth taking the political risk, worth the controversy, worth the potential image backlash, or 2) She’s simply a bad politician.
Neither of those two results is a very charitable reflection on Ms. Palin, who, again, THINKS SHE CAN BE PRESIDENT. Why don’t we just make a horse President.

Posted on January 11, 2011 at 3:32amI can respect your opinion as different than mine. One thing I cannot forgive in this whole event (aside from the disgusting crime itself) was Sheriff Dupnik breaking THE cardinal rule of Law Enforcement, you NEVER make assumptions in a public forum. They drill that into you as soon as you pick up your first text book on the criminal justice system. While the finger pointing is one thing, the fact that he was stating as fact, that something was a cause of the crime without supporting evidence, goes against everything our justice system stands for, specifically “innocent until proven guilty”. And I don‘t give a rat’s arse if this man is the sheriff, his job is to enforce the law, not dole out guilt to parties he believes responsible. But that is aside the point.
In the end, I hope they find this whack job guilty of the crimes committed, carry out his punishment, and we all move on. Even if there was some minor connection to this man and what goes on, it is like saying “a butterfly flaps it’s wings in China and a twister wipes out a city in the US because of that.” The only man responsible for this crime is the loony on trial.

They screamed at congress leaders, threatened them, had hateful events at the expense of these leaders being spit on, things thrown at them, even their offices broken into and shot at. All of these things happened by Tea Party GOP card carrying Republicans.
These Tea Party folks acted mentally unstable, and most more than likely were mainstreamed into the system. This is what America has to deal with from not institutionalizing these folks early on in their diagnosis. And Sarah Palin is the leader of the Mayhelm group.

Thanks for the Youtube link. I tried it out just to see what YOU think is “Hatred” and “Racism”.
1. I HIGHLY recommend that other people go look for themselves.
2. I counted 40 different images, the last image is NOT from a “Tea Party”, it’s a drawing from a newspaper comic.
3. I suspect the provenance of two others as they weren’t in a crowd or anything.
4. Of the 37 remaining images, 7 were decidedly benign, they were either “thank you”s to Beck or Statements or preference for Christianity.
5. Of the 30 images remaining, 8 were fairly crude, but I wouldn’t say were promoting Racism. 3 mentioned black or white references. 3 were allusions to Hitler, 3 to BHO’s links to being Muslim or overly sympathetic to Muslims, 3 more allusions to being the Anti-Christ, and 1 Reb Battle flag.
6. Leaving maybe 3-5 images that if they were actually taken at a Tea Party, they probably should have (and perhaps were) asked to leave.
All in all, I’d say that if this is the best you can do, after a couple years worth of watching, you don’t have very much to work with at all.
In the end I think at least one or two of the images were False Flags, and all were snapshots in time where the actual outcome is uncertain. By watching the Vid, you don’t know if ANY of these really represent your claim as you don’t know if any were asked to leave, if they were actually False Flags, or if they were really Tea Parties in the first place.
It’s all leading conjecture.
On the other hand, I really like the music! I wouldn’t mind having that CD, it was relaxing and technically pleasing. Thanks!

If he had been arrested, as per the law, then he would not have passed the background check and maybe, just maybe, his state of mind issues would have been discovered and potentially treated. So if fingers are to be pointed, they need to go in the direction of the local Tucson law enforcement agencies… hmmm, does the phrase he “doth protest to much” come to mind? Sheriff?

Sorry, I don’t mean to incite violence. Please do not commit mass murder because I used the words “attacks” and “aggressive.” Oops, please do not commit mass killings because I used the word “murder”. Dammit, I said “killing.”

Posted on January 11, 2011 at 7:08amIs it just me or have the number of trolls increased since the lady from Huffpo signed on? I don’t wish her any ill will and I hope she will be successful, but the negativity on this site has really exploded. It used to be that there were good discussions and now you have to wade through the sarcasm to find a comment pertinent to the subject.

Posted on January 11, 2011 at 7:24amDid anyone at the NY Times feel that Joe Manchin shooting the cap & trade bill may have caused this? I don’t think it did, but if they want to blame Palin, shouldn’t they be concerned about that too. What about Obama telling Hispanics that we have to “punish” our enemies? This is all just another example of the liberals not letting a crisis go to waste. Even this horrible incident, they will even use this. What a sick cult.

Posted on January 11, 2011 at 7:28amWe sat and talked last night about the shooting. As far as we know no pundit has talked about his age. It‘s funny that a college kid the one’s the “Left” targets with all their revolution talk, Castro, Che t-shirts glorifing this type of behavior. Then when it happened to one of their own they can’t believe they had anything to do with it. Blame Bush, my mama the dog next door aybody but us the caring “Left”.

When you inject bullseyes, “don’t retreat, reload”, and “second amendment remedies” into the political discussion, you have, whether you meant to or not, associated yourself with a lunatic who shoots a member of congress.
I guess you mean like POTUS said when he said “bring a gun” in reference to political talk. How does it feel to be tottaly nuts?

I pity you your burden. It has to be terribly stressful to be able to see and know things that almost none of the rest of us can. Since there was no TV or radio in 1833,1865,1881 or 1901 on whom shall we blame the attempts on Jackson, Lincoln, Garfield and McKinley? Your assertion the O’Reilley had anything to do with the murder of Dr. Tiller is without foundation and it’s irresponsible.
As well as a healthy disregard for history, I see you have an equally healthy disregard for the Constitution. The second amendment has already been subverted in too many instances. It says, in part “….the right of the people shall not be infringed.” It’s needs no interrpretation. If you think that you, or a person (child) under your jurisdiction is in need of a mental exam prior to purchasing a weapon, then by all means have yourself or the child evaluated. I believe a waiting period is also an infringement.
We don’t need a knee jerk reaction to every isolated case of insanity. Some of that is, and always has been, included in the price of liberty. As terrible as the events of this past weekend were, and as much as I grieve to the dead and the wounded and their families I can’t see any upside to giving up any more of our liberties. That will not stop random acts of violence. Even the real experts on criminal abhorrant behaviors will tell you that we cannot stop every instance of deadly violence especially when it’s carried out by a person acting alone.

Posted on January 11, 2011 at 8:56am@WhiteTeaParty – reallt? Associated yourself with a fringe lunatic gunman? So what does that say about the leftists since this kid was a registered Democrat with no really identifiable political ideology? See – the problem is that people are actually waking up and learning and understanding the political spectrum well and no matter how much the left cries out to blame all things conservative, the problem is – all signs point to this kid taking up a seat on the left side of the aisle.
Why blame the right for all of the violence when at best, what you have is words and pictures – whereas on the left, you actually have demonstrable evidence of ACTIONABLE violence? I usually don’t respond to trolls, but yours was worth responding to because you sir – are a true idiotic troll.

Posted on January 11, 2011 at 10:04amI don’t like you much anymore Bill, but I do have to say ,you got this one right… I pose this to the N.Y times and far left loon P. Krugman: If it is to be taken serious, the smearing of Palin and the right wing Radio pundits, and you say it’s their fault that this horrible incident happened in AZ. Then I say, that what happened on 9/11 was the religion of islam and all muslims fault, that over 2000 people were murdered on 9/11… Wait you say ? I can’t condemn a whole religion for the acts of 19 lunatics ? okay, fair enough.. Then you can’t condemn Sarah Palin or right wing radio pundits of the acts of Jared Loughner.. Got it mr Krugman ? pretty simple, huh? BTW, I saw this example on Glenns show last night and am giving a hat tip to Glenn….

Posted on January 12, 2011 at 8:34amAnd Bill is absolutely right! After decades of slowly but surely gaining ground and being so close to the finish line and their wonderful idea of a “Global Utopia,” it’s all blowing up in their faces.
Thanks to the Internet, Talk Radio and our deteriorating standard of living, all of the Liberal lies are being exposed for what they are – lies! These open-border Progressives have finally lost their message; and the more they try to dismiss, slander and outright attack the people on the right, the stronger we become…
America is no longer cowering in the corner due to false cries of “racism” or fake accusations of “hate mongering.” America is standing up and saying, “Enough!”
What’s amazing is that these people on the left were able to get away with this absurdity for so long…
