Pakistan Blocks Twitter Over ‘Blasphemous Content’ About Muhammad

Pakistan blocked access to the social networking site Twitter on Sunday in response to “blasphemous content” posted about the Prophet Muhammad, the Associated Press reported.
The micro-blogging site had reportedly refused to remove material promoting a competition on Facebook to post images of the prophet. Many Muslims consider any depiction of Muhammad offensive and un-Islamic.
“This has been done under the directions of the Ministry of Information Technology. It’s because of blasphemous content,” Mohammed Yaseen, chairman of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, said according to Reuters. “They (the ministry) have been discussing with them (Twitter) for some time now, requesting them to remove some particular content.”
He said Facebook had agreed to address the country’s concerns about the competition, but Twitter had not.
“We have been negotiating with them until last night, but they did not agree to remove the stuff, so we had to block it,” Yaseen said. “The ministry officials are still trying to make them (Twitter) agree, and once they remove that stuff, the site will be unblocked.”
According to the Associated Press, a top Pakistani court banned access to Facebook for two weeks in 2010 over anger about a similar competition. Some protesters at the time advocated jihad against the site for allowing the page.

If Allah honored him by giving him the status of being the final and most important prophet, should they not honor him likewise? I would think that depictions of him would be relished and sought after with the utmost zeal, but they are repulsed by them. Why? The only thing I can think of is that deep down they experience gut wrenching offense at his very sight because he has forced them into such a loathsome life! Allah should destroy them all outright for this! So why doesn’t he do it? Because he doesn’t exist! They are all deluded by Muhammad’s deceptions. His motivation? His desire for sex of all sorts and domination over the female realm of the world. They are so blind. I pity them.

Yet, they can say anything against Jesus Christ and Christians threatening death to them all and it’s overlooked purposely. That’s why I got away from Facebook only after being on a year. I went into their sites and saw things written threatening death and nothing was done even though they were reported for it. No, I cannot and will not, in good conscience support any sites like Facebook and/or Twitter that support this behavior, yet they attack anyone who says anything about their religion. I cannot face God someday (which I believe will be soon) knowing that I was part of Facebook/Twitter helping them make money to help the Radical Left Wing and Terrorists.
