‘Pakistan Sunni Tehreek’ Activists Set Fire to Images of Obama, Clinton

Activists with the political organization, “Pakistan Sunni Tehreek,” said to promote the interests of Sunni Muslims in conflicts against competing Deobandi and Wahhabi sects, have taken to the streets in demonstration against the cross-border NATO air strike on Pakistani troops. In turn, they are setting ablaze images of President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Even crossing your leg over your knee and exposing the sole of your shoe to the person next to you would be considered an insult in an Islamic country. The shoe, which touches the ground, also is on the foot, which is the “lowest” part of the body and therefore considered dirty. This is why shoes are to be removed before entering the mosque. (No, I’m not Muslim, I’m Christian, I just have friends who are Muslim and am a little familiar with a few things….not much though).
