Pakistani Actress Under Fire For Nude Cover Shot in FHM India

ISLAMABAD (The Blaze/AP) — A Pakistani actress who posed in the nude for an Indian magazine with the initials of Pakistan’s feared and powerful intelligence agency on her arm has triggered fury across this conservative nation.
Veena Malik’s photo on the website of FHM India, in advance of its publication in the magazine’s December issue, has been lighting up social network websites since earlier this week.
In the photo, Malik is shown with her arms folded across her chest and the letters “ISI,” which stands for Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence agency, on her left arm.

Many here anticipate a backlash, as nationalists and Islamists regularly stage rallies against anything they deem an insult to Islam or to the national honor. India and Pakistan have fought three wars, and the ISI has been accused of sponsoring terrorist attacks inside India.
Malik has broken Pakistani religious and national taboos in the past. She is a target for conservative ire and a heroine to some Pakistani liberals.

Conservative cleric Maulana Abdul Qawi declared on Aaj TV on Saturday that her latest venture into controversy was a “shame for all Muslims.”
In an interview with Pakistani Geo television broadcast Saturday, however, Malik said the nude photo was published in violation of her agreement with FHM India and she was considering legal action against the magazine.

Malik acknowledged having been photographed for a “bold but not nude shot.” She said the editor of the magazine had promised that he would cover most of the photo with the ISI initials.
The photo was intended to poke fun at the Indian fear of Pakistani spies, she said, adding “whatever happens [in India], people say ISI is behind that.”
But that differs from what she told Indian press agency PTI, when she insisted she had never posed nude and said the photo had been “morphed,” the Daily Mail reported.
“I have never posed nude. I have never done anything like that ever,” she told PTI.
Magazine editor Kabeer Sharma said Malik had given full consent for the shoot and the picture.
“We have all the record[s],” he told the Pakistani television station. “Veena was very excited about that ISI idea.”
Zubair Khan, a 40-year-old shopkeeper in the northwestern city of Peshawar, agreed, saying the photo had given rival India another opportunity to insult Pakistan.
“She has earned a bad name for the entire Pakistan nation,” he said.
Others questioned the authenticity of the photo.
“It seems to be an Indian attempt to malign Pakistan by faking her nude pics, or she might have done it to get a cheap publicity,” said Lubna Khalid, 38, a housewife in the southern port city of Karachi.
Twitter commentator Umair Javed however called on Pakistanis to “make copies of the picture and bury it in your backyard. This way, our grandkids will know there were some amongst us who lived free!”
Asked by reporters whether Pakistan would “pursue the matter” legally, the country’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik said Saturday, “First, let us see whether it is real or fake.”
Malik does most of her work in India. The entertainment sector there is booming, while Pakistan’s is moribund. Her ties to Pakistan’s archrival have landed her in controversy in the past.
During a much-publicized talk show appearance early this year, she lashed out at her nemesis Abdul Qawi, who criticized her for having a scripted love affair with an Indian actor on an Indian reality show.
“What is your problem with me?” an angry Malik demanded of the scholar, who had accused her of insulting Islam.

I can’t speak for Pakistan, but in Afghanistan, women are for procreation and boys are for recreation…and Thursdays are the day that Allah turns a blind eye to heinous deeds…which explains why we would see all that man / boy hand holding and adoring looks exchanged between fellas…But hey, if they want to keep sending the girls our way, I’m good with it. Less women, means less offspring, which equals less jihadis…and I’m good with that too.

I think they are so repressed sexualy that they are lust filled perverts consuming women, boys, and sheep upon the altar of their lusts. I had a Christian friend who was a doctor in Denver tell me a story how he kept having to treat young Muslim men for venereal diseases…and so he questions one of these men about his screwing women and getting diseases out-of-wedlock and this fellow divulged this nugget of wisdom.
“It is not a sin because I am not in my home country”.
Muslim men should be rounded up and put in a prison given three squares a day and all the sheep they could hump. Once they are all passed away from disease or natural death the problem of the Jihadi starts to diminish to nada. Somehow the US Nazy needs to make a port of call in Afghan/Pakistan where the insanity could be bred out of those people.

I’ve been from Hong Kong, to Beijing, to Seoul, South Korea, to Fiji, Paris France to Cairo, Egypt, from Jerusalem, to several locations in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Pakistan. I grew up In Atlanta, surfed the beaches of Hawai’i, roamed from SanDiego to Malibu, and the sands of South Beach Florida. There‘s no more beautiful ladies on earth than right here in the good ol’ USA.
Believe me, if I want something to put on a leash, or to replace one of my hunting dogs, I’ll grab a women from an Arab country. If I want a tramp I’ll go to Amsterdam or Sweden.
Maybe I’m crazy but I want a woman who has a brain to go along with beauty. Without a brain, they just aren’t worth the time. People think America liberal women are off their rocker. HA, try a European woman. They take insanity to a whole new level.

Oh yeah! That is what’s giving Pakistan a bad name! Not the fact that they hide international terrorists or sponsor terrorism just for starters. That country is a joke! We need to get out of that region, pull any aid we provide to that entire region and put them on notice. Actually nude photography doesn’t line up with Christian values either. It should be verbally denounced by everyone. Porn is one of Americas biggest problems, you‘d be surprised how many kids go hungry because their Dad’s spent all the grocery money buying online porn!
