Divorced twice ? I think only men can initiate divorce in Islamic countries ,so she must be quite the handful , I’m surprised she still has a pulse.I’ll give her a lot of credit for trying to make a buck ,nothing wrong with a capitalistic spirit.Focusing on trying to better yourself means you don’t spend all your time hating those you presume have it better than you.

These idiots still don’t get it. The burka/hajib is intended for one purpose….TO HIDE THE UNCLEAN WOMAN FROM THE SIGHT OF HONEST MEN..or at least that’s the crap that is taught in the koran…It’s still lowering the woman to the level of cattle. This woman is too stupid or brainwashed by her “religion” to realize that she’s not helping women victims of islam…she’s helping to perpetuate their slavery!

      Exactly 100% correct. Bravo!

Doesn’t matter the thread count of the sheet…..doesn’t matter if it is adorned with a lacey edge…..doesn’t matter if jewels are attached……its about covering up the woman……essentially making them invisible and insignificant.

All because these knuck dragging….stone age men can’t control theirselves. So they control the women.

Maybe I can bedazzle some head scarves and call that a movement as well. Because there is a much deeper meaning to it all, it will be the balance between “a whore and a devout person” and empower women by pushing them back 2000 years.

No matter what they do with the hijab it’s still a symbol of oppression, and always will be!

      EXACTLY!!!!!

A hijab by any other name would still reek with the stench of oppression. Period!

I’d say the “super model” and her ilk are suffering from a form of Stokholm syndrome. Nothing more, nothing less.

      Pathetic.

Agreed. Totally admit do not have enough of the cultural information to understand all the representative nuances and symbolic meaning. Similar to how one may not see the intricacies in Hawaiian dancing, each subtle movement is a frame in an overall story. We are limited, but we can still see the beauty and react to it.

Well, women from all over the world, and even in the USA, have worn scarves in different ways. If it’s not forced upon, it’s actually quite beautiful and kind of mysterious. Especially useful for days when you have a blemish on your chin!

I have lived around women that wear the burka/hajib and the men that I have seen with their wives wearing burka/hajib fall into two catagories: one – that really care for and show great respect to their spouses and the other is the SOB that is a control freak.
I find the burka/hajib somewhat attractive and a bit on the mysterious side. I like that it leaves their beauty to the imagination rather than flaunting it to the world.

Nigel2 – Really? Just because she obviously does not beleive exactly as you do does not mean that she has to be stoned. The fact that you feel that she has to be destroyed just demonstrates how weak your position is, Your position is so shallow that you have no choice but to destroy those that do not go along with it. If your perspective had any strength at all you would consider making the arguements verbally rather than destroying the messenger.

Wow, Bushpig, it seems that you are as stupid as your name implies!

First, you are clearly unable to discern humor from serious comment.

Second, your defense of a culture that deems women to be lesser beings than men nullifies everything that you have to say on the subject.

You’re either a lefty loser, a self-hating woman, or both.

Its called a burkini . Its very popular with muslim women specially in France and Australia.
I’ve seen a few in SoCal beaches too. They look like wet-suits basically but on ugly out of shape women walking with their hairy husbands in speido walking in front of them, they invite attention !!

“The inner energy of the hijab”. Oh my, what bunch of psycho babel (<=spelling intended). Too bad she's so out there she can't be taken seriously. She sounds like so many of those in Hollywood. Just plain bazaar. But it is a glimpse of the way to win against radical Muslims. That is; just export western culture, freedom and liberty. It's long road, but it will win in the end.

Women here are to independent and not at all afraid to speak up stand up and won’t shut up.. Now they might get a few of the liberal to allow themselves to listen but no one wants them anyway..
