Palestinian Puppet Show Teaches Kids: Replace Cigarettes With Machine Guns

If the children are our future, this story suggests a dark one for the Palestinians.

Imagine if the U.S. Surgeon General were to launch the following campaign to combat the scourge of youth smoking. Creating an “educational” puppet show for children and have the puppets teach the kids that smoking is not cool, but assault weapons are super-cool.

That’s pretty much what happened in East Jerusalem, according to the Israeli research institute Palestinian Media Watch:

A Palestinian NGO [non-governmental organization], the Burj Luq-Luq Social Center Society organization, performed a puppet show for children in East Jerusalem to promote non-smoking. The educational message delivered by the puppets instructed children to replace cigarettes with machine guns:

Puppet: “I, and many other youth like me, think that cigarettes will help us to grow, to turn into men. Jerusalem doesn’t need men who hold cigarettes. It needs men who hold machine guns, not cigarettes.”

Because apparently no health lesson would be complete without some anti-Semitic incitement to violence:

In addition to teaching children not to smoke, the puppet show glorified death and violence and educated children to see Jews as “enemies” who kill the Palestinian youth of Jerusalem:

Puppet: “I wanted to stand before the audience and sing to Jerusalem, which is being kept from us. Jerusalem, whose youth are being killed by the Jews, to sing and to say:

Jerusalem, we are coming, Jerusalem, the time of death has arrived.
Jerusalem, we will not surrender to the enemies or be humiliated.”

Palestinian Media Watch reports that “the Burj Luq-Luq Social Center Society is or has been supported by various branches of the UN, including UNICEF and UNESCO, in addition to international donors,” including the governments of France and Switzerland.

As reported by The Blaze in December, this is not the first case Western aid money has been used by the Palestinians to promote violence. As discovered by Palestinian Media Watch, the children’s magazine Zayzafuna published a fictional submission by a teenage girl who described Hitler’s actions as positive, because he killed Jews to help the world. The magazine is funded by the Palestinian Authority, and the Authority receives U.S. taxpayer dollars. UNESCO stopped funding the magazine after the Hitler article was publicized overseas.

This and other discoveries are detailed in the book “Deception: Betraying the Peace Process” by Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik of Palestinian Media Watch who combed through Palestinian television, newspaper and magazine items looking for signs the Palestinian Authority is influencing public opinion toward peace with Israel but instead found a multitude of terror-glorifying messages including “streets, schools, sporting events and more [named] after Palestinian terrorists who have killed hundreds of Israeli civilians.”

With suicide bombers presented as role models, encouraging Palestinian youths to violently cut their own lives short, the question might be raised: why bother with the anti-smoking campaign?

Sadly, upon reflection some hours later, I have returned to this talkback to find it filled with the same hateful rhetoric I was spouting myself some hours earlier, and hardly a voice calling for peace for the Syrians. Hey, I cast the first stone at myself. I replied in anger. Others replied in anger. We threw everything at them from religious bigotry to the same spoutings of Hitler. I, said myself in my previous post, “let them burn.”

What the Hell was I thinking. What the Hell were WE thinking?

Why did knowledge of this story turn us into the neighbours from that Twilight Zone episode “The Monsters are due on Maple Street”?

Well, it’s a good thing Americans will always strive to vote into office the best and brightest. May they make better decisions on the spur of the moment than I did. Then we did.

I don’t pray often, but tonite I will, not just for the Syrians, but for myself.

More examples from the “Religion of Peace”. This is not Islamophobia. A phobia is a fear of something. I don’t think most Americans fear these jokers. They want to start a global Jihad, bring it on. The sooner we deal with them, the sooner there will be one less wart on the ass of society.

I wish I got a full auto gun when I was a kid. Any way a kid with a any weapon is a threat and your enemy and will kill you given the chance. More than one GI has been killed by a kid. Killem all its the only way to solve the problem poor little brain washed Bastxrd$.

This sort of crap is an everyday occurance with these people, but it is ignored by the media and the left. The Palestinians are completely undeserving of a country. It is not possible to have peace with them or the Muslim world in general. They follow a hateful, intolerante and evil idiology, much worse than the Nazis, because the Nazis would not blow up their own children just to kill a few more Jews.

Israel should not and must not accept them as peace partners and we should not support statehood for them. Doeing so wil not lead to peace, but to war and more death. Trying to make peace with them only convinces them that they have the upper hand, and Muslims are taught not to make peace with Jews and Christians when they have the upper hand.

  My attitude towards peace has always been that when your enemy no longer wants war only then will there be peace. Israel hasn‘t and won’t agree to peace until that happens. Their offers of peace are made even though they won’t be accepted. Until the Palestinians accept that offer and uphold it, Israel will continue to rightfully treat them as enemies.

A perfect example of why we are wasting our money and our troops lives on these Muslim nations. They will never be like us. Trying to domesticate hyenas doesnt work.

Pull our troops out, close the bases in their countries, quit giving food, quit giving money, quit giving advice. We can become energy independent in 3 years if not less. After that just let them eat sand and kill each other. Take the troops from their countries and protect our borders. Leave a carrier or two near these countries to remind them not to mess up.

Problem solved.

Not only do we quit funding terrorism with becoming energy independent but we put Americans to work with our energy infrastructure efforts and domestic drilling. Drill now drill everywhere.

  As a Jew who has seen how libs use foreign aid to create dependency, I can actually agree with that sentiment. The only time I‘d support the government aiding Israel is if Israel desperately needs it and even then I’d make it a loan rather than a grant. Too many politicians will be tempted to manipulate Israel if we give them too much.
