During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin hints that she‘ll run for president in 2012 if there’s no one else willing to “make the tough choices and not care what the critics are going to say.”
Palin also jokes that her daughter, Bristol, will “kick my butt” in an election-night TV ratings showdown as Palin pundits for Fox News and Bristol dances on ABC:

Posted on October 28, 2010 at 10:57pmI hope she doesn’t run. The simple reason is she‘s a real lady and I don’t particularly like the idea of what she would endure at the hands of the Communist news media in the US, the Treason (NY) Times, etc., and the myriad of other anti-American groups that are running loose. Can’t a man be found with her guts and principles?

Posted on October 28, 2010 at 10:51pmA waste of her and our time. I think highly of her, but she’s better off as an organizer / energizer for the GOP / Patriot movement. I’m still pushing for Pence / Rubio or Christie / Rubio (if we can get Christie to throw his hat in the ring, which is doubtful.) The 2012 run is going to take someone tough as shoe leather with steel lug nuts. Sorry ladies, but this is definitely a “man’s man” job we’re talking about here in 2012. I just hate to see innocent Sara Palin get battered and bludgeoned. Our country’s life is at stake and we need to seriously weigh the outcome of another Obama term. It must not happen or the USA is gone for good. We must pick someone that will not “blink”.

I would rather have Sarah Palin and Rick Perry as a ticket. Perry of Texas is very talented at keeping taxes low and balancing a budget. Texas has a cash surplus and is creating jobs. This speaks well of handsome cowboy Rick.
Palin to downsize government, to kick butt on corrupt politicians and to restore our national pride. Perry to solve our economic woes. Those two would be a good team acceptable to most Americans.

Yet you know he is the best for the job. You know it. Proven track record. Why not just support the best candidate? as far as winning goes its all about having the right R or D in front of your name come election time. The masses will vote as they always do with only a small number of movers putting the players in position. Republicans will win the next pres election. Why not shoot for the moon. Put someone in that will not compromise?
We can end up once again with a compassionate conservative who will muck things up trying to manage social programs that can produce nothing but debt. Trying to make good around the world by killing the right people and paying the rest. And yet again, in the end freedom, capitalism, and liberty will be blamed for the devastation of social planning.
The very ideas you will be putting her in to defend and bring back will be the ones she abandons to grab the centrist vote. This is what the republicrats do every time. We will not change directions just down gear. the consequences of what she does right will be looked at as chance, while the calamity of socialistic government will be cast on the philosophy of liberty that the news will tell you she represents. It happens every time. and america will once again move closer to that old world ideal of kings.
I will not have Palin, who ran with McNugget mind you, be made as a straw man for my political views. Not again. I want a Libertarian government. Not Libertarian light. Not republican. Not christian right. I want total freedom and i want it now, in my lifetime.

Posted on October 29, 2010 at 12:46amSarah Palin is in lock-step with the American people on the majority of the issues: immigration, health care reform, off shore drilling, extending the Bush tax cuts, the mosque at Ground Zero, etc. Regarding gravitas, Governor Palin has written, spoken, and commented on issues ranging from the devaluing of the US dollar to the bureaucratization of health care to the Obama administration’s stance on Israel to the overreach of the EPA. She is comfortable discussing social, economic, environmental, regulatory, foreign, and national security issues.
With regards to leadership, Governor Palin has led a town, a state, and has co-led a family. She has private sector experience in working in journalism and her family’s fishing business. She has public sector experience with her time as city councilwoman, mayor, and governor. She has experience with negotiations between the public and the private sector with her work on AGIA. She worked across party lines with ethics reform legislation. Since stepping aside from the Governor’s office, she has been the leading voice of conservatism. When other supposed leaders are busy sticking their finger in the wind or sitting on the fence when it comes to current policy, Governor Palin has stood strongly for conservative values and commonsense.
With regards to political achievements, in three legislative sessions as Governor, in addition to what has already been mentioned, she forward funded education, passed major ethics reform, revamped the oil taxation code to make it more inline with the Alaska constitution, and increased funding for children with special needs. She rejected stimulus funds that were unsustainable and had strings attached. She stood firmly for the 10th amendment on numerous occasions and was a constant proponent of energy independence. She took on the Establishment of both parties and won.

Sarah didn’t “quit”; she reloaded in order to fight for what is right on a fairer battlefield.
She promised to keep the frivolous anti-Palin law suits away from the Alaskan people ( saving tax money and time) and to be more effective on the stump ( supporting candidates , fundraising, etc)
Sarah Palin was truthful on both accounts!!
In an article Sarah Palin said:
“I said, ‘Enough. Political adversaries and their political friends in the media will not destroy my State, my administration, nor my family. Enough.’ I knew if I didn’t play their game any longer, they could not win. I would not retreat, I would instead reload, and I would fight for what is right from a different plane.”
Sarah Palin resigned because she recognized the cost that the frivolous ethics complaints were having on her state , and she saw how much of her staff’s time and her own time were forced to deal with those issues. She wasn’t able to effectively fulfill her role as Governor, so she passed the reins onto someone who didn’t have to be concerned that if he sneezed in the Lower 48, an ethics complaint would be thrown at him.
Palin’s entire administration was paralized by those frivolous complaints, only an idiot wouldnt be able to see or admit that.
She saw that if she stayed on as Governor it would continue to cost the state millions of dollars in wasted time and resources to defend against false and maliciously ethics complaints and doom it to gridlock.
Sarah had to step down for the better of her state and it was the honorable thing to do.
She promised that she would “effect positive change outside of Government”, and she has most definitely done that!
Sarah has been able to speak more boldly for both Alaska and all Americans for the conservative principles this country was founded on now that she is outside of office and without the concern of a possible ethics violation been thrown at her.
Sarah Palin told us all why she resigned when she resigned. If some people still don’t get it, well, that’s their problem
