Palin: ‘Hells No’ I Wouldn’t Vote to Raise the Debt Limit!

In an interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin expressed her sincere frustration with Barack Obama’s energy policy (or lack thereof), exclaiming that the president doesn‘t know what he’s doing when it comes to energy. Palin also doubled down on her opposition to raising the nation’s debt ceiling. “Hells no. I would not vote to increase that debt ceiling,” she said.

“It turns my stomach to hear this assumption articulated that we have to [raise the debt limit], despite the fact that we are raking in the federal government $6 billion a day,” Palin added. “Take that money and service our debt first and pay down some of that debt. Make sure that we are showing the international financial markets and our lenders that we’re serious about getting our debt and our deficit problems under control.”

Additionally, Baier asked Palin to comment on various potential 2012 GOP presidential nominees, including Rep. Michele Bachmann, Donald Trump and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney:

    I wish that Sarah would run next year, but I do not think it will happen. Like Ronald Reagan, who sat out an election cycle or two. There is too much interference for her to be a electable candidate. Reagan started out before he was Governor as a Radio Commentator. If Sarah continues on her path she will be more than just a commentator just like The Gipper

    Sarah is awesome. She has more intelligence in her little finger than Obama has in his entire huge head. Unlike some on this comment section I don’t care what Sarah reads, I only care about what she believes and her actions according to those beliefs. Let me guess what Obama and all the dumocrats read: daily dumocrat talking points to spew all over the internet, The Communist Manifesto, and that stupid book by the accursed Darwin. Can we finally get off of the talking point that Sarah Palin is stupid? She slammed Biden at the debate and slams Obama daily. Democrats…definitely swimming in the shallow end.

    Can someone point me to a website that explains the debt limit issue in facts and numbers? I have a lot of questions about how not raising the ceiling would work. Although I agree with the principle of not raising the ceiling, it seems it would be a logistical disaster. For instance, after paying our debt and defense expenses, how much money would be left? It seems to me that a lot of politicians oppose raising the debt ceiling as a political maneuver because they know it will never happen, just like Obama when he was a Senator.

      The MAIN problem is this, we have a high debt. The spending and quantitative easing is causing inflation. If the spending is not stopped, hyperinflation will ensue. Now, If you attempt to limit the inflation, you end up having inflation and high interest rates. Think JIMMY CARTER term 2.

      The only way to stop the inflation and to not force interest rates high is to cut spending. It is the only solution that will work. Yes it will hurt, but the allocation of resources to unproductive components is what got us here in the first place.

      No centrally planned system has lasted for very long, our current predicament.

      Not only are the dems most fearful of Sarah, but the RINOs and many of the ‘conservative Repubs are a bit frightened of her, because she WILL conduct a SCORCHED EARTH CLEANSING ON ALL THE WASTE in D.C. !!! She battled the repub establishment in Alaska, and will do the same in Washington D.C.
      I think she will finally make a decision to run or not, about late September 2011. I sense from what I have read, she is not truly excited about running for office any more, but I believe she will step in if she sees a lot of whimpy, polite debates. I just hope she runs and HOPE she is as strong on ILLEGAL INVASION/immigration as she is on DRILLING for Energy !! LOVE HER !!

      We really need to do something about Washington and its spending. When I was a kid, the kinds of numbers we’re using to count dollars right now were only used for distances between star systems. And none of this debt is accomplishing a thing!

      If the figure is accurate, we need $22 trillion to fix all the infrastructure in the country–roads, bridges, water mains, tunnels, etc.

      I can’t imagine there being that much money in the world.

      tn general i would agree but i like pushing peoples buttons. i think what they write is funny. their irrational hate, to me, is funny. i dont believe in personal attacks to try to score some kind of points. and this is where i am gonna make some on my side mad at me. i also think the whole birth certificate thing is a personal attack on obama as is calling him a muslim . we have so much bigger problems than these non issues. we have to stick to the real issues and educate others with no hate in our hearts. focusing on non issues dosent help the cause. same with the left. to focus on palin resigning to save the tax payers money is a personal attack. the reason she did it dosent matter, they only wish to tear her down. i will say that when the left does these things i find it funny but when our side does it it makes me mad. we should not be like them.

      Like with all who post here, free speech isn’t impeded. Sometimes posts vanish, usually if a link is included. What it seems is that the site of that link doesn’t allow use of the online publication without express written consent or some such.

      What I found about most libs is they scream censorship if they’re not validated somehow, if they can’t hold an audience hostage–like how in protests they’ll block off entry to a business, invade a bank, or shut down entire streets.

      What some of us have decided is to not directly respond to trolls. That doesn’t impede their allowance on the site to post within site rules. We who have, simply decided to freeze them out of conversation, largely because of their own behavior. Many here publicly support Congressman West, yet day after day for months so far we’re accused of being racists. We who have made this choice are tired of the talking points and other nonsense from the trolls. We tried discussion, but never gain a thing after so long. I guess we have just given up on them. I know I have.

      Everyone, of course, is free to choose for themselves how they post and to whom. Liberty is the name of the game as always.

      I choose, for myself, to outright ignore trolls. I won’t always let them off the hook; I’ll counter in ways other than addressing any of them directly.

      I simply find more enjoyment talking with a fellow Conservative than with bothering with a lib.

      I agree with you about the marginal issues, like the BC or the president’s religion. I come here for information from fellow Conservatives, and impart what I hope will be of benefit to people who believe as I do.

      I oppose raising the debt limit, for reasons I noted a little farther up the thread. I’d still feel the same if Nancy Pelosi felt as I do. I was opposed to a raise of it when Bush was President, every time it happened.

      I recall when the Dems, back in 1987 or so, were screaming about a paltry $68 billion budget shortfall that year. Sheesh–that sounds like chump change now. That kind of money is almost a week’s worth of the interest on our national debt right now.

      If Washington doesn’t stop, we’re screwed.

      When I first started coming to this website I enjoyed reading the discourse between people with different ideas. But there are some on here who feel threatened by an exchange of thought, if it does not fit a mold, which I find very disappointing because I always thought conservatives were more open minded and willing to challenge and debate especially if you don’t agree with someone. I find censoring and ignoring someone because you disagree with them, adolescent and short minded, not to mention that’s the same tactics liberals use. I think we can include people with different opinions maybe even change their minds, isn’t that the whole idea? MSSMUG

    Always been a Palin fan….she‘ll wait and see who’s running, etc. like she said – too early for her to decide – probably won’t until late summer or something. I believe she’s honest and says what she thinks, like Trump, and will say/do whatever she thinks is necessary & is what we need – a fighter. Did a fantastic job as Governor & has handled all the horrible false accusations & threats to her family well. I won’t be surprised if she runs — she probably does respect certain qualities of the candidates out there, like she said — however, they don’t have her unique experience of being a Governor of a state like Alaska and knows about energy and handling oil companies, etc. so…..she’ll probably think that would make her unique among the others – even like Bachmann, whom she loves as I do too. Another thing – don’t be surprised if Obama is not the one running — I think Hillary will and then we’ll need another strong woman to run against her — guess who? Yes — PALIN FOR 2012 !!!!!!!!!!!

      The picture changes every day. I voted for Mc Cain and Palin, however, even though McCain would have been better than the Muslim terriorist we have now, Mc Cain showed his real side. I just put Alan West at the top of the list with Palin as VP. That would put her in line after West serves 2 terms. Thats it today. Tomorrow is another day. Keeping my fingers crossed.

      That is not a bad pairing. Both Constitutionalists, who would help to keep eachother honest and focused. We should not exclude Herman Caine either, as he is more likely to win than West, simply because he IS running. West is certainly on the books for 2016….very outside chance for 2012. And that is if we all put a nationally focused pressure on him and the paople of FL agree.

    All we hear is how ‘evil’ Wall St. is yet, when it comes to questions like raising the debt ceiling, those fat cats are the go-to crowd for justification. If the bankers want the debt ceiling raised, and they’re greedy mean-spirited money grubbers, then I have to wonder what’s in it for them. How much money do they stand to make on the new interest to be accrued?

    And what will we be doing with that new ability to increase debt, except to subsidize multi-billion dollar corporations and give money to other countries to develop their own industries. To give Brazil $2 billion for their oil industry, we are going to have to borrow it.

    If we budget $3 trillion a year starting this year, and use $2 trillion to pay down the debt every year until it’s done, we will need almost nine years to get that monkey off our backs–with the interest still accruing while the pay-off process continues. I don’t know the numbers, but it’s a fair bet the interest continues at a rate of about a million dollars every minute we are in debt. And still Washington wants more?

    Something is very wrong with this picture.

      Palin cannot go on other networks while she has a contract with Fox. When she announces a run for the presidency, and she will, she will no longer work for Fox and then will be free to interview wherever she likes. Those interviews will be with those who give her a chance to speak her mind.

      mostly trade publications for the industry i am in. i like to know all about my work and what other companies are doing about the same problems we have and solutions. i also read a lot or online articles about technical aspects of the industry. i try to learn something new every day that will help me succeed. but this is not about me its about the hate people have toward people they dont know. i dont know you and i dont hate you, i just like reading the comments like yours because i get a kick out of them. i think they are funny.

      Long Island Association was an unequivocal success ; an hourlong, unscripted Q&A session where Governor Palin talked about the economy, the deficit, government spending, gun control, the environment, the rising cost of food, energy, Egypt and other foreign policy related issues in front of a group of socially liberal Democrats and Republicans in an area where the Democrat Party is strong.

      The same in India ; a very successful (unscripted) Q&A session.

      Everyone but the ******** like you know why Sarah responded to Couric with a roll the eyes type of sarcasm, she was being purposely humiliated by the ******* LSM during an important Presidential election campaign. If the LSM would be fair and treat her with the same decency that they do people like Weiner or Obama then she would enter those venues. But there is no upside for her as those outlets are so low in the ratings that it makes no sense.     What a mess. Both parties have caused it. Democrats through buying votes with more and more social program spending for their constituents and the Republicans, some have done that too, but primarily, they have NO TESTICULAR FORTITUDE WHATSOEVER to stand up against reckless spending.       Also Gov. Palin’s entire administration was paralyzed by those frivolous complaints.

      Sarah Palin had also fufilled all the campaign promises she made, i.e., ethics reform, budget cutting, earmark cutting, getting the natural gas pipeline off high center through an open, transparent, and competitive process!!!

      She promised to keep the frivolous anti-Palin law suits away from the Alaskan people ( saving tax money and time) and to be more effective on the stump ( supporting candidates , fundraising, etc)

      Sarah Palin was truthful on both accounts!
      For the past two years Sarah Palin has worked tirelessly to fight Obama’s policies and elect conservatives; she was #1 in the fight!

      She’s spoken out on all the issues, both foreign and domestic, and has been proven right on many of her statements.

      Gov. Palin had to step down for the better of her state and it was the honorable thing to do.

      Despite the fact that the Tea Party Conservatives are a force in the House “only”, they have great power right now in that they CAN AND MUST force the government to live within it’s means for the next 20 months (until the next wave of conservatives is elected to both houses and the White House).

      The White House cannot be trusted to go through with any agreements between the president and the House, therefore it behoves the conservatives in control to hold the borrowing power of the government in abbeyance until sanity is restored (after Barry is removed from office in 2013).

      The one part especially she is right on is addressing the matter of the national DEBT. The spending needs to be controlled, reigned in and nailed down with iron teeth; while the DEBT also needs to be dealt with at the same time. A portion of the income to the government should be used to start on the path of paying down the debt at the same time the spending is reigned in.

      Working in AF Logistics, it boggles my mind at some of the rules we “HAVE” to go through, it makes it much more inefficient and costly. A lot of the rules were put in place due to past corruption and just makes it very clunky to do buisness.

      I can understand from a different perspective about corruption in systems; when my grandfather tried to have a street sign put on the intersection for the road leading into his ranch, he petitioned those in authority for several years – following each law and step as outlined. Finally he got the sign for the cost of two bottles of fine burbon that somehow got left in the gentlemans office of the legislature.

      Mind you, this is how the story was told to me soon before he passed, so take it for what it may be worth. I do tend to believe the veracity of it.

      But have you noticed that she never proposes anything? She simply criticizes the current administration. That’s good for her financially, but doesn’t add anything to the important dialogue this country needs to have.

      Is raising the debt ceiling an abomanation? Well, it wasn’t during the Bush administration. He almost doubled the national debt, and the debt ceiling was raised seven times during his administration.

      This is a very difficult and complex question imo but you are right it is very important. I’ll start by saying that I too was a very devout person of Faith for some 20 years. I’ve studied the Bible and the Old Testament quite a bit and I’ve even taking some College courses on the Old Test but they were worthless other than the History. I’ve studied the prophecies and have read dozens of books regarding the Tribulation period, Daniel, and book of Revelation. Although not recently.. I need to start back studying since there appears to be a major Natural or Un-natural disaster about every month now. Furthermore, I too was a very strong supporter of the Nation of Israel and the Jewish people.

      The change came when I started studying their involvement in historical events and in particularly their involvement in all things Marxist. It has really left a bad taste in mouth and I fear them and I fear what I believe to be their plans for America. Yet all the early Christians were Jewish and obviously Jesus was as well. I can’t say with any certainty that I have a strong opinion on the way that a Christian should approach a Jew today. I believe many on this site fail to realize that most of our early settlers did not see the Jews as God’s chosen any longer and they were extremely educated people. Martin Luther obviously had strong opinions about them that did not conform to the cult like thought today. This Christian Zionism that we are witnessing today is really less than a Century old. I believe it was an old Christian architect named Clarence Larkin who started promoting this line of thought around the early 20th century.. He’s written some excellent books on the end times by the way but they do support the notion that the Jew is still God’s chosen people.

      So really I just don’t have a strong opinion on the Jew today. I do believe they are orchestrating many of the World events that we see unfolding today and they do scare the hell out of me; however, on the other hand we have Jesus and the early Church. But even Jesus was in constant opposition to the Jewish leadership of that day. Personally I’ve got to start back studying and praying about the subject. I would love to believe more strongly in the Rapture teachings because I do believe America is doomed.. lol I wish it wasn’t so but I believe people fail to realize the severity of the situation and how totally in control our enemy is today.

      Just some of my thoughts on a very complex topic… I’m certainly open to more wisdom on the matter. A lot of rambling but if you are thinking on this topic then you know how confusing it can be..

      But can you imagine our post 9/11 days if Gore were in charge (assuming that administration had nothing to do with it)?? I think we would be far more “up the road” to the “socialist utopia” than we are now.

      And JZS, do you REALLY believe that European-style socialism is the real answer and that the American ideal is wrong? That “success through hard work and dedication” is the wrong path? I’d LOVE to know your thoughts on that….

      Okie: I went back and reread your answer to jzs.. I sort of got stuck on the we didn’t start 9/11 part.. But on second glance you were pretty much right on. I believe Jzs was pointing out some of the flaws and hypocrisies of the Republcans in the previous adminstration which I tend to agree with.. No one was so worried about the Debt when we were throwing away a TRILLION dollars in Iraq!!! I can’t hardly type that without my blood boiling..
      But you were saying pretty much the same thing.

      Someone right above mentioned Palins voice.. Oh my goodness I can’t hardly stand it any longer.. I have to turn her off. I hate to say that because other than her foreign policy stances I pretty much like her.. She was co-opted by the Neo-Cons thought under McCain.

      I didn’t do a good enough job explaining the Neo-con earlier. They were basically a small group of Jews surrounding GWB who were also with his father and they were very hawkish on the Middle East. One of them had written a White paper in like 1999 advocating the over throw of Sadaam Hussein. Anyway, there are now high ranking Senators on both sides who have adopted these Interventionist policies. They are mainly Globalists and they are very powerful. I get tickled listening to Mark Levine because when someone calls in talking about Neo-Cons he will hang up on them and call them a Jew hater… lol I love Levine but he’s wrong on that issue.       As I said I am not a brick of the USA under Rome….I grew up going to church, a Baptist one at that, and was told all about those magical rapture and 7 years of tribulation and how Israel was everything…I ate it up like warm apple pie….I fell away when I questioned my pastor at 12 as to why we attend on the 1st day of the week when we are commanded to on the 7th…I was mocked by the pastor and I coward….

      As I matured I began to question with boldness and studied history myself, especially around religion, prophesy and their origins…Upon doing so I about cried as I felt lied to my whole life….

      Today there is no difference in our Sunday servers as the Catholics, thus making the once Protest-Ants of Roman Catholics, Catholic subjects….Martin Luther as you mentioned as well as other leaders of the Protestant movement actually declared the Catholics as the anti-Christ as they killed more Christians then the Holocaust did Jews….

      As I see it, over time of falsely preaching a 7 year tribulation, which can not be found in any Bible and was created after the Protestant movement to counter it and the effects of the Catholics being exposed, the Protestants of the USA have subtlety given power to the Pope if you will and is doing their dirty work…We are the Roman Catholic army…

      Islam as I was told in Qatar as well as Saudi Arabia was pretty much started by Catholics to continue persecution of the Jews as the Roman Catholics wanted to set their Temple upon Jerusalem…..

      Do some research on that if you would….As for the Bible, remember once saved by Christ and thru following God’s commandments we all become “Jewish” or grafted into the Jewish tree….The Temple is inside us and no where does it say another temple must be rebuilt….Only in the Catholic made story can one find that….

      My Sacred Honor: Good point. I don’t question the radicalization of Islam an their barbaric tendencies.. There’s ample evidence of that over the years; however, today our armies are over there and have been since the end of WW2. They want us out and I don’t blame them.. They have a right to their lands. That said I wouldn‘t be sending out invitations for them to come to America but then again that’s in our 1964 immigration policy devised by you know who and if they attacked us while our Armies were not over there then I’d be willing to support any necessary military intervention.. I even supported the Afghanistan mission at first but my goodness why are we attempting to occupy the nation? We could have accomplished everything we needed to do with one aircraft carrier in the gulf for a few weeks and then been done with it… but it’s 10 years later!! and now we over there killing the Taliban? lol Insane imo. Anyway, I’m on the same page with you.

      Okie: You bring up some good points. First I’ve heard the theory about the Catholic Church inventing Islam.. I actually have a huge book dealing with that topic which I’ve never read.. Not saying it‘s not true but it’s hard to comprehend. The books called “How Satan turned America against God” Dr. William Grady.
      The persecution of Christians is something you will never hear about in the Media today especially that done by the Catholic church.. It’s almost inconceivable to this day but we walk around like it never happened.
      Finally the part about us all being Abraham’s seed in Christ.. The Church that I’ve attended always taught that.. That we are the Israel of God. I‘m very familiar with those teachings but I didnt’ wasn’t going to bring up another area of contention on here.. I use to get upset with the Pastor because he never taught about End Times but you know if he did then he’d probably be using the same sermons which the Baptist use.

      Compare Islam with with Catholics….They are almost identical in regards to Christ, Mary, ceremonies, prayer, idols, etc…. 

      Taxes control our churches just as the Romans control the commandments and changed them with the Protestants doing what they are told….It’s amazing once one looks at history and the Bible at the same time….

      The part most people do not realize, Paul whom all love to quote, was formally Saul a Pharisee whom persecuted Christians because they were not like him, a Jew! God turned Saul into Paul for a reason….Persecuting anyone is against Christ and the teaching of Paul and I feel sorry for those clinging to hatred without even knowing why….Most forget the Jews killed Christ and state he was not the Messiah believing opposite of their own Faith! Yet thousands of innocent whites are being slaughtered on the streets each month in America while our Jewish press covers it up..       The KKK itself which I’m not a member of and have never been affiliated with is responsible for less deaths and injuries over its entire existence than the thugs in downtown Chicago will commit in 2 or 3 weekends!!!       I’ll defend Duke any day of the week and I personally hope he runs for President in 2012. You may be very surprised to see how many supporters he has once people hear the truth once they hear him speak.. As a matter of fact why don’t you review any of the many videos which he has produced and find one error in them.. Show me one please. I would love to join the ranks of the Sheeple and say ahh David Duke = Klan David Duke = Bad.. But it just doesn’t stand up to reason. As a matter of fact I’ve not heard Duke say one racist word in the past several years. Not one! And if there is anyone that has been criticized as much as him and has a right to lash out I’d like to meet them.

      Okie from Muskogee: You are absolutely correct in that most people on this board are about as deceived as the average Liberal. They take what ever is suggested to them by their Media and they are unable to process it.. Although I will acknowledge that I’m seeing more and more thoughful comments on this board.

      Take this Birther movement issue: Everyone in the Media wants this to go away but they don‘t want us to see Obama’s records. I want to see Obama’s Indonesia records. .His passport, his school records his Selective Service Number which was attained in the state of Connecticut which he’s never resided.. But all the talk radio guys don’t seem to have a problem with this information.. lol Maybe they just realize that they don’t stand a chance of standing up to the Marxist Media Establishment therefore they are complicit in covering it up as well.

      Nick84: Are you stating that Whites are not being slaughtered in America today at a highly disproportional rate by Blacks or even Jews in America today? I won’t even broach the topic of the Jewish slaughter of whites because most of them are white.. But I will say whenever there’s an exceptionally horrific crime committed by a seeminly white person like Columbine or the Murder of the Jewish Congresswoman.. Check the ethnicity.

      No Nick84 the fact is my people are being slaughtered and I don‘t appreciate it and I don’t appreciate the fact that it is being covered up. Last Friday, in my local paper there were 4 assaults with a gun in which the perpertrator escaped.. yet they failed to give the description of the perp in each case.. lol Go figure. AP and Reuters are the absolute worst at this. Both Jewish conglomerates.

      In the AJC several weeks ago another black man shot 2 cops. One died for certain but the AJC failed to give a description of the perpertrator. He escaped and made it to Athens GA where he took hostages on the campus of UGA. Did these hostages have the right to know the description of the murderer on the loose? lol

      Nick I believe I did say injured or murdered. Regardless many go unreported. Especially the rapes.. Consider the two gang rapes of 11 year olds in CA and TX recently. Did FOX inform you of them? Or the 23 yr old woman from Connecticut a few weeks ago who was decapitated by her black boyfriend? I have a feeling if someone was decapitated in Arabia FOX would have told us about it? lol

      If Sarah is serious she must declare very soon. Otherwise she will never really be in the fight. She seems very opportunistic and looking for just the right stacked deck. While she is waiting other serious candidates will step in and take the prize. I think Sarah is more focused on making money for Sarah and not her campaign.I think most folks have counted her out already. I’m sure she makes more money working for Fox and giving speeches, but we don’t really see a serious Sarah. If your serious Sarah, better say so now. May be too late already.

      Sorry I’m late, went to bed after my last posts and am going through them again.

      Short answer: No. I DO NOT want this to happen. Think of me as how William Wallace was potrayed in “Braveheart”. I want no part in conflict whatsoever. I have a fiance’, who has a 13-year-old and a 3-year-old, and I pray often to God to allow those children the chance to grow up and have a life. I don’t pray for, but want a long and happy life for myself as well. But I know things about things, and i took an Oath as a Marine that will never go away. And when I feel like any circle of my influence (home, neighborhood, community, city, state, country) is threatened, then I react, and i prepare. I think within the next few years, Europe will fall to caliphate, and then America, and with so many other outside influences wanting a piece of us. I pray we can be saved from it, but I don’t think we can come back from this brink.
      So it is up to people like me, who are willing to defend whatever circle we can from those who wish to convert us or kill us. I hope I’m wrong. My “bravado” on here is meant to show those who read that there are still those of us with guts and ability to keep America America. That there are those of us willing to lay down our lives for our neighbors, based on an oath that is “no longer applicable”.

      I am a FORMER Marine. And my oath to you as well as ALL Americans remains the same. And shall remain to my death.

      Nick84: Sure there was a Holocaust. 7-10 million Ukranians were starved to death in a time of peace by Stalin’s Jews.. The entire Bolshevik experiment was one big Holocaust on a mostly Christian Russia.
      I would also consider the Bolshevik massacre of up to a million Armenians another Holocaust. Maybe even the Catholic Church’s crusade against Protestants another Holocaust.. So there ya go. Sure I believe in the Holocaust. Do you believe in it?

      Thanks for the response. We don’t seem to agree on a lot, but you don’t seem like a bad guy. I suppose I just don’t see things being that bad off. I deployed to Afghanistan with the army a few years ago, and most of the Afghan people seemed to just want to work to support their families, just like us. In fact, many of them complained about the taliban to us. Their trucks were shot at and they were basically robbed while delivering our supplies. Obviously there are Muslim extremists, but there are extremists of nearly every group. Are you aware that non Muslims have committed about double the terrorist acts that Muslims have since 2001? Like I said, I don’t think there is anything wrong with being prepared for something bad, and I do appreciate the fact that you say you are willing to fight for all Americans (myself included), but it most likely won’t come to that.

There is no use talking to a bigot who selectively chooses what history they believe to suit their cause though. So good luck sticking up for the least discriminated against group.       The last time they said that, they went out and hired another 500 buyers for the feds. The famous Coffman Letter from Tinker AFB OK.

      Mr. Coffee pot was only 3k over priced cause it was being procured by the gold plated specs in the awarded contract. On an commercial aircraft you see all of the plumbing required to produce XXXX cups of coffee in a minute. Typical back then it cost around 3k but the gov bought it for about 6k.

      The toilet seat was priced right at 600 bucks…next time you have to go check it out. It was a large one piece surround sort of deal that you had to buy from the contractor.

      The hammer, yeah throw 500 buyers at it, overreaction.

      I once got into a production line and bought an item 200% less than the previous buy. I got chewed out. “Your going to bankrupt the poor contractor”…yeah well not so pencil pushing auditor.

      Preconceived notions about overpricing of these items spun out of control…as it usually does in a bumper sticker society. sigh

      Up to 2008 when I went Galt, I never knew my political position. With the state of the education system even back in the 70‘s and 80’s, we were never taught political theory that well. I went to college for Aircraft Mechanics and Engineering. Switched over to Business Administration only getting my A&P license, equivalent associates in Engineering and an associates in BA. Now that you know my government given education.

      The breakdown of the left vs right historically was the line where the far left was totalitarian, complete control by the government. The far right is where the individual or the private has complete control. The far right is anarchy the far left is dictatorship.

      The line becomes blurred when bringing into the equation the monetary or economic system. This is where you bring in the graphs like the Nolan Chart. Here you put in both the economic and the government/individual rights components.

      You have anarcho-capitalists which I define as the true anarchists. These people are not ones that go and cause chaos and destruction. Those are communist agitprop. I have a friend or acquaintance that has a site that covers a lot of their beliefs at- Fascist Soup, give it a google, it should be the top one.

      Now, Libertarians are to the left of the Anarco-Capitalists and Constitutional Libertarians are to the left of Libertarians. That is where I define my beliefs.

      Basically, AC’s believe everything can be run by private organizations. Heck, you can find those beliefs in the Constitution. e.g. Letters of Marquis. Also if you look into the history of Grand Juries anyone could put together a Citizen Grand Jury and if the Grand Jury found a charge to be truthful, they could bring charges to a court and the court would be required to file a warrant. This is basically where the requirement of a someone swearing a crime had been committed to get a warrant.
