Palin‘s Bus Defaced With ’Media Whore’ Sign

Someone posted an unfriendly sign on Sarah Palin’s tour bus earlier today. The villain’s message, pasted directly over the words, “We the People” on a picture of the Constitution, read, “I, The Media Whore.” Gawker has more:
[the sign] was sacrilegiously placed over a monster image of the preamble to the United States Constitution for nearly 15 minutes. The bus was parked outside Fox News headquarters.

Sarah Palin will win the Presidency of the United States in a landslide election in 2012. Spread the word. And I’ll pray for you Brian, although I still recommend perhaps some medication.

You couldn’t shine my shoes, son.” I hate how any criticism of Palin here is immediately taken as leftist trolling. She is obnoxious, and I feel she makes conservatives look bad. While I think she gets some unfair treatment in the media, that doesn’t automatically make me a fan. Well my first cousin traveled cross country last summer in a tractor trailer cab, redone to be a camper, and a 45 ft. slide out trailer, with God Bless America, and Put God Back into America or all is lost all over it. It was quite the sight. At the Grand Canyon, the Japanese tourists took pictures of their rig rather than the Canyon. They were 7 people in a rig on a month long trip to see all the sights of America. I don‘t think that Sarah’s bus is so unusual. These ******** are just so jealous of her, and scared to death of her also. If they weren’t, they wouldn’t be paying her any mind. YOU are the leader or governor of a US state. Let’s say for this scenario: [Insert Random State]. Because of your views on [insert something here], you are a target by [Insert Political Affiliation]. Because of this, a citizen of your state (whether on behalf of or personally for) can sue via an ethics violation complaint with or without proof (in the case of SP, it was not), without merit, and even without using your own money except perhaps in some states, a $25 charge. However, because of the frivolous complaints, the lawyers and analytical probing needed to verify or investigate your claims costs the state incredible amounts of money. This is of no expense from you and means the citizens have to shoulder the tax burden to pay for it OR the Palin family had to pay for the cost of defense, which she did.
Well, this is the case with Sarah Palin. Considering the attention she was getting, she felt the need to step down both to shield her family from having to entertain such nonsense but also shield the state from a system that was being abused by those that were self-centered, self-gratifying, and blatantly destructive in all regards. Any fiscally minded person would do two things: Change the policy (which looks bad) or step down. It seems that would not be you.

Uhm, I’m not sure who made the original remark, but I have to respectfully disagree. Although it was “just paper taped on the bus”, the bus happens to be private property. Also, it’s pretty stupid to do it in front of FOX news and not expect it to be notice. As a matter of fact, that’s probably why it was done – simply to attract attention.

Sorry it was not free speech. Free speech is standing by the bus (or anywhere else) and holding up the sign. Attaching it to her bus is malicious mischief and although it might not even rise to the level of being an infraction it is wrong. It would be like me tapping a sign on your car or truck that said Alex Jones Nutbag. No offense intended. It might not be a crime but it would not be free speech.
