‘President Pataki?’ The Former NY Gov Is Sounding A Lot Like A Candidate

Is the GOP waiting for TX Gov Rick Perry or NJ Gov Chris Christie to jump into the race for the White House? Maybe, but there is another candidate with significant gubernatorial experience who may be ready to “get in the game” – Former NY Governor George Pataki.

Based on the latest polling data, the top spot on the 2012 GOP ticket is still up for grabs. Mitt Romney may have the lead, but he has yet to garner more than 30% of the support:

2012 GOP Presidential Candidate PollAn often-whispered name that does not appear on this list is former New York Gov. George Pataki. After serving twelve years as governor of New York, Pataki has apparently been toying with the idea of tossing his hat into the ring.

Calling in from New Hampshire, Mr. Pataki was a guest on the Jeff Katz Radio Show out of Boston this morning, talking about the Debt ceiling and his own plan called “No American Debt.”  Pataki also was clear on how he views of President Obama:

“I think he’s fundamentally an ideologue who believes in massive government spending increases and believes in redistribution.”

The entire interview from Talk1200 is here.

Speaking as a NYer, we’re still trying to recover from the damage he did to this state!!!!!!!!! There’s no way he could ever win NY in an election, let alone the general election!!!!!!!!

If Romney gets the nomination, the USA may go down in flames.

The Democrats, with the help of the mainstream media kicked Romney’s a$$ easily and early in 2008.
Now they want to do it again! Are you going to let that happen? Are you going to let the LIBERAL MAINSTREAM MEDIA TELL YOU WHO YOUR FRONTRUNNER IS?

I’m not. I’m going to back a TEA PARTY CANDIDATE, NOT SOME RINO tossup. We need to back a TEA PARTY CANDIDATE, and stick with them. We need to get it all together and VOTE AS A BLOC! We can’t afford to splinter off into a disorganized mess and hold out for that perfect fantasyland candidate. It’ll Never happen. Let’s just pick the best TEA PARTY CANDIDATE we have, and back them up. Please. WE CHOOSE OUR NEXT PRESIDENT. NOT THEM!

Wow. Maybe Nancy Pelosi should throw her hat in the ring. Maybe not. On a heavier note, you’d best not let the mainstream media pick your nominee, or you’ll pay dearly!

Pataki is another paper tiger…a RINO trying to come off as a conservative.
Neither he nor Guliani are worth even thinking about.
They are jumping in just to keep conservatives from garnering more support, as if their names had any value to Conservatives.

I am seriously considering a run for the presidency.

Tomorrow, I’m forming an exploratory committee to see if there are much ,if any interest in my running for the presidency.
Next week I’ll form another exploratory committed explore the results of the first exploratory committee.
I’ll be doing this on a weekly basis at least until the first of Septemper .012. At that time I’ll be making a decision.
I have called in some heavyweight campaign folks to touch base w/ bigtime donors to see how much tehy are willing to pledge..
One problem I see on the horizon, many in my neighbourhood are also considering throwing their hat into the ring.
In fact ,my latest count showed there are 99 guys doing same.
A friend of mine who lives in another parish and who is also considering running told me he has the same problem in his area.
If I decides to enter, I hope I can count on all you Blaze folks to vote fer me.
    Thanking you in advance.

What we really need to do is to encourage as many democrat players to run for president in 2012!
See if we do that then it so seriously screws up bho’s chance at reelection
