BOSTON (AP) — The New England Patriots have confirmed on Twitter and Facebook that quarterback Tom Brady was involved in a car accident but is expected to show up at practice.
The team’s Tweet on Thursday morning said: “Patriots QB Tom Brady was in a car accident this morning. He was not hospitalized and is expected at Gillette Stadium today.” The team is preparing for its season opener this week.
A law enforcement official who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity says the accident occurred near Brady‘s home in Boston’s Back Bay area around 6:30 a.m. Thursday. The official was not authorized to release names and says Brady declined medical treatment.
Fire officials say a passenger in one vehicle was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.

Posted on September 9, 2010 at 3:00pmIt’s really funny how these liberals go after Glenn and Sara Palin. They are terrified of them, It’s the only explanation. We have already beaten them. All they have in there arsenal is childish name calling. They have no substance at all only ignorance.

Posted on September 9, 2010 at 4:31pmGBIAD – I sincerely doubt that anyone here will trust your sincerity. You have made a number of unnecessarily inflammatory comments here, and you may find that intelligent discourse is more than readily welcomed. and I believe you would be as well if you engage in good, opposing conversation. I’m still trying to figure out why your opening volley had anything to do with Ms. Palin. I wish Mr. Brady and anyone involved in the accident the very best.

Posted on September 9, 2010 at 2:03pmWow. That headline had me worried! Thank God that Brady is okay – I don’t care what your team, it would be sad for the NFL if any of our top-notch quarterbacks (the Mannings, Favre, Brees, Rivers, etc.) were injured in a car accident.

Posted on September 9, 2010 at 12:45pmWhy the story? Certainly there are enough bread crumbs to lead you to “the story”: (If I must fill in the blanks) Car wreck…… 6:30 in the morning……as reported by the Associated Press……

Posted on September 9, 2010 at 11:00amReally?? I mean this story isn’t about Palin, so why the first post? Oh wait, it’s a hater…how sad that all you can do is call people names…how about an articulate informed arguement???
Wait I forgot, I only have a small amount of college education, so there is no way I could possibly understand the complexities of The Constitution, right?
Grow up and be able and willing to stand up for what you believe in! Stop acting like your in elementary school and drunk on Koolaid!

Posted on September 9, 2010 at 11:08amI apologize for calling Sarah Palin a moron. You are right, i stooped to name-calling. If i could delete that post, i would replace it with “Sarah Palin is ignorant”. Since that would be truthful, no on could consider it name-calling.

Posted on September 9, 2010 at 10:52amSo? Many many people have accidents daily, and some even die. So why all the hoopla? Maybe to take our minds off the bigger picture? I do not get it, our country is going to hell in a hand basket and we worry about Mr. Brady. I just don’t get it….It’s like Angelina Jolee is someone whose opinion we should respect? She doesn’t respect ours, what makes her so smart, her money? Could be…ummm

Posted on September 9, 2010 at 11:12amplease refer to the second posting on this page. (… you can’t call Palin a moron because she is wealthy…). Obviously Angelina Jolie can’t be a moron because she is wealthy. Why are you talking about Angelina, anyway? I thought this was a discussion of Tom Brady’s unfortunate accident, and Sarah Palin’s unfortunate lack of knowledge.

Posted on September 9, 2010 at 11:28amOne day, Sarah Palin will say something so incredibly stupid, so indefensible, so totally absent of the the truth, that all of her supporters will stop and say, “We were wrong. We need to find another leader. ”
But then again, maybe i’m wrong. She’s already made several statements that have all the above characteristics, and little has changed. Go figure.
