I think the Headline is confusing people about what is being said by Krugman. He is not saying that the Capitalists are racists. He is saying that the Union, Socialists and other similarly interested groups cannot get their S**t together and fundamentally change the country because they are racists. I for one think he is right. Let us hope they continue in their ignorance.

How about “We’re not socialist in America because America loves liberty too much”, Or how about “We’re not socialist in America because we do not want to limit the earning power of the poor by constraining them to the servitude level (Slave) earnings Socialism would offer”. We have CAST OFF the shackles of European thinking. We have the freedom to think beyond limits of socialism. what a DOLT. Yes you intellectual idiot, Paul Krugman, are a DOLT!

Rejection of the notion that one is born a victim is the skeleton key to unravel every premise from the left. Krugman‘s mischaracterization of America as racist betrays his disdain for those he doesn’t deem worthy of his own elite status.

A sin without volition is a slap at morality and an insolent contradiction in terms: that which is outside the possibility of choice is outside the province of morality. If man is evil by birth, he has no will, no power to change it; if he has no will, he can be neither good nor evil; a robot is amoral. To hold, as man’s sin, a fact not open to his choice is a mockery of morality. To hold man’s nature as his sin is a mockery of nature. To punish him for a crime he committed before he was born is a mockery of justice. To hold him guilty in a matter where no innocence exists is a mockery of reason. To destroy morality, nature, justice and reason by means of a single concept is a feat of evil hardly to be matched. – Ayn Rand

He thinks socialism is the future, even though it was entirely discredited by its failures: http://www.battlefield315.com/2011/03/socialism-explained.html Not surprisingly, he thinks “racism” is at the core of fiscal sanity: http://www.battlefield315.com/2011/04/what-liberals-really-think-about-tea.html This is a common, pathetic tactic against the tea party.

I do not understand how there are more of us than them yet they seem to have all the power and influence. The “the few or the one” I ref to is from a line from Star Treks Mr Spock, he would say “The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or the one” yet in our world the few or one have all the power.

How did this happen? Where are the capitalists to support the right? Where are the Anti Soros billionaires? Who is the Anti Krugman, Peter Schiff? If it is so horrible here why hasnt anyone directly challenged ppl like Krugman to LEAVE and go to some other country he/ they praise?!

You don’t have to be coherent to be an economist these days. The profession has advanced way beyond the stage of logically developed argument. Nonetheless, let me step in it by providing one simple fact: There are three necessary conditions for general Socialism; one being the non-existence of economic resources being privately owned. In Europe, though central planning does exist to a greater degree than the US, resources, for the most part, are privately owned. Krugman knows this, so he’s not being truthful with his audience.
