Pawlenty Roasts Obama in Official 2012 Announcement Vid: ‘Time for Truth’

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Republican Tim Pawlenty offered a sneak peak Sunday at his presidential kickoff, blasting out an Internet video in which he promises a campaign that “tells the American people the truth” and suggests that President Barack Obama doesn’t.
In the new video, the former Minnesota governor formally declares he’s running for president, something aides said he’d do in person Monday morning during a town hall forum in Iowa. Pawlenty bypassed a launch in his home state to make his inaugural appearance as a candidate in the state that holds the leadoff caucuses, which he acknowledges he must fare well in to preserve his hopes of the GOP nomination.
He says in the video that the country needs a president who will be frank with Americans about the severe challenges facing the country and how America can get back on track. He mentions the climbing federal debt and a slow recovery from the economic recession that’s left millions jobless.
“We’re going to have to do more than just give fancy speeches; we‘ve had three years of that and it’s not working,” Pawlenty says. “Join me tomorrow and around the country in the days and weeks ahead. You won’t hear empty promises, you’ll hear solutions.”
The hard swipes at Obama are central to Pawlenty‘s effort to prove to GOP primary voters that he’s tough enough to take on the Democrat. He‘s combatting an impression that he’s too nice to be an aggressive challenger.
Pawlenty makes no mention of prospective GOP rivals he’ll have to outlast to get his shot at Obama. Among the Republicans who have taken formal steps toward a White House campaign are former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum and Texas Rep. Ron Paul.
The GOP field saw more signs of settling Sunday when Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels took his name out of consideration.
The video released Sunday by Pawlenty is set to soft music that rises to a crescendo – a contrast from the all-out, pulse-raising videos he released as he introduced himself to GOP voters over the last several months. The former two-term governor brags that he “moved our Democratic state in a conservative direction.”
“We need a president who understands that our problems are deep and who has the courage to face them,” Pawlenty says in the spot. “President Obama doesn’t, and I do.”
Democrats planned to counter Pawlenty’s town hall meeting Monday by bringing in Minnesota officials who say he handed off deep budget problems to his successor.

There will always be certain differences we might not “all” be able to agree with; on that same token, we do not want to settle for less. I understand we are all trying to make the best informed decision as to who “we the people” will choose to lead us. We all know we are being swarmed in every and all direction. Is the opposition trying to overwhelm us with distractions on multiple fronts? Yes they are, carefully orchestrated and designed to crush the opponents’ political will. Destroy the morale and along with that goes the spirit of hope. We need to push a solid principally grounded conservative in on the top. Us as the people must remain in the “good fight” and not become weary and will continue and not faint. We create a political environment which becomes difficult for the elected officials to play their games on us whomever they may be. They are on our terms, just look at the reinforcements we managed to put into position recently. That was only a little glimpse of a result of our unity and support for those willing to truthfully and faithfully stand beside us and with us in our principals. Driving a wedge between our unity is the oldest tactic in the playbook. Will we allow it? 1/3 of the stars was swiped down by the tail of the old dragon as he was casted down to earth. We need to push more of us into the top and transform the battleground for ou

But thats alright there are plenty of thugs to do the heavy lifting. It’s as if we outscourced the office to some character from Bali, who just so happens to have been born in Hawaii and spent considerable time being indoctrinated in Indonesia and elsewhere. The worm turns. This Pawlenty better be ready for a brawl, because it’s going to be a relentless onslaught.

Posted on May 22, 2011 at 11:32pmFor those of you who missed the blog talk radio program tonight with JB Williams on why Americans have no standing, here’s a piece of news that you need to keep in mind.
JB said that we need to keep an eye on http://www.PatriotsUnion.org in the next few days because there will be a plan of action there for us. You will need to step up and join in — no cost for membership.
Also, on Monday, check to see what Doug Hagmann is going to put on his site. He said last night that he is going to “post some information that has never been released before, and it’s BIG! It will be so big that it cannot be ignored. That website is http://www.homelandsecurityus.com. (This is a site where he posts results of his investigations and the findings of those of his staff, NOT a government site.)
People, why do you think the government seeks to control the MSM? To control what we as citizens are told. These two men are dedicated researchers and investigators, and they have told us that we need to find out what is really going on AND TELL PEOPLE. The MSM is telling people from the top down. We have to overcome that from the ground up.
Bookmark those sites or put them into your favorites for easy access. The future of our country depends upon you!

Posted on May 22, 2011 at 11:51pmObama’s father precluded his being a “natural born citizen” meaning born on U.S. soil of U.S. citizen parents; he is further ineligible by dual citizenship for being born a British citizen pursuant to the British Nationality Act of 1948, as his father was a British citizen of colonial Kenya.[1]
The Art 2, Sec 1, exemption from being a NBC, “or a citizen of the United States …” wasn’t needed if NBC means just a citizen!
Each authoritative definition of a NBC stipulates citizen parents (plural). First Congress, Ses II, Chp 3, Sec I, 104, 1790: “the children of citizens.” Bingham, House floor, 1866: “of parents not owing allegiance.” Supreme Court, Minor v. Happersett, 1874: “of parents who were its citizens.” Senate Res 511, 2008: “born to American citizens.”
Congress is hiding behind the birth certificate controversy rather than act and jeopardize reelection. Their deceptive dereliction of duty was deftly codified by rhetorically requesting guidance from the CRS on just the birth certificate issue. The expected reply was the infamous Maskell memorandum.[2]
Demand congress immediately remove Obama in accordance with their oath to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

Cain is appealing on the surface but when you dig you find many unpleasant things IMO…
You have to ask yourself what reason our dollar is about to crash, which has occurred over both party presidencies, and the reasoning I found is the Federal Reserve…
When Cain was on Neil Boortz show he said he doesn’t support auditing the Fed. He said we Americas need to go talk to a federal reserve representative to understand the Federal Reserve…On his radio program he criticized those opposing the Wall Street bailout calling them “free market purist”..I can provide links…
We know the problem is the Federal Reserve when it comes to the dollar. A fed rep will only bs us…We know the wall street bailout was bs and apparently Cain thinks it is ok…

Why do you avoid addressing those contradictions Bob…Does someone need to hold a gun over your head and fire it for you to confess your contradictions Bob….West would if he thought you were a domestic threat, right?
I don‘t waste God’s money frivolously betting. If you would like to bet just for fun bragging rights sure. Considering I’m 1 up already with “absolutely not” I suppose I’ll let you try and redeem yourself out of good fun…
And Bob, if you can, I’d like to hear more of this story about burying Islamists for seven months…Can you quote it?
I‘ll be in Joplin helping out so I’ll look for your reply tomorrow or day after…Have a good day Bob…

Posted on May 23, 2011 at 10:46amWOW!!! Awesome debate guys, I love it and we need it. We need to have truths and opinions out there so people can decide for themselves.
As for Islam using the Constitution, yes, they are. In the same way that the left uses it. These people are not stupid, just reprehensible.
For example, we in Montana voted for Medicinal Marijuana back in 2004, with the understanding that it would be regulated so that truly sick folks would have access. Unfortunately, as time has progressed, it became more of a weed free-for-all. There are shops all over the place and the “patients” are primarily 20 somethings without a job or a clue. The “system” was played!
Things have gotten so out of control, the recent legislative session voted to overturn the referendum.
Now the lefties are using this to make conservatives who just want to start over with a little more control over the situation to be painted as “fascists’ and their actions unconstitutional and oppressive for “overturning the will of the people”. The “people” simply want it fixed like we understood things were going to be, but that upsets all the “work” they did to corrupt what the voters wanted into what the left wants.
Report Post »These folks have used “free speech’“ and ”freedom of religion” etc. to their advantage, yet are more than willing to deny the smae for those they disagree with. There are examples of it on here all the time. Our society is endangered by the very freedoms we are also protected by,

Posted on May 23, 2011 at 7:12pmHere is the verse that says that it will take 7 months to bury the dead after God personally destroys this invading army and 7 years to burn all of their weapons that are still left on the battlefield.
“Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and bucklers, the bows and arrows, the javelin and spears, and they will make fires with them for seven years … It will come to pass in that day that I will give Gog a burial place there in Israel … for seven months the house of Israel will be burying them, in order to cleanse the land. Indeed all the people of the land will be burying them, and they will gain renown for it on the day that I am glorified,” says the Lord God. (Ezekiel 39:9-13)
The only group of people currently who want America and Israel wiped out are the Muslims and the land to the North the Bible talks about is Russia. Liberals are conspiring with these enemies too because of their common goal to destroy America.
Allen West did say, “absolutely not”, yet he still has a better chance to be president than Ron Paul, LOL.

Posted on May 24, 2011 at 9:42amMaybe Pawlenty should tell the truth about a pardon he gave to a convicted child molester so that he and his wife could open a childcare center… while the man was molesting his own daughter (from age 9 to 16).
