That idea that Biden gave credit to Bush for something requires a quote from someone in the white house, “This is a big effing deal”…

Think how hard it must be for VP Biden to basically admit that he was wrong. Biden has his faults, as we all do. Deep down, Joe is that guy from Scranton- who can still give credit where obvious credit is due. Not giving a nod to President Bush when it is so plainly obvious shows how shallow political wonks can be. The other one that should also be noted is John McCain- I think he was the only senator that spoke publicly in support- and stuck by it during an election cycle when he had something to lose.

How like him to say that the politicians should get the credit and not our troops that followed a strategy from our President. (Presidents should not be considered politicians anymore cause they should be for all the people, not saying that is the case but just so you understand what I mean)

Biden has always had it in him because he is the only one in the administration that hasn’t fully drank the Obama kool-aid. I am sure that he was speaking off script again and there will be heck to pay when he returns home.

Fantastic find Scott! Who would’ve thought Biden had it in him?

Now that the administration has been totally cornered by _the truth_ they hope to give a passing, off-handed, wave to their colossal lack of vision of the surge despite their vicious attacks against it.

“Let’s just move on so no one will remember this come November” is the underlying message I got from this interview.
