PORT ROYAL, S.C. (AP) — Authorities say a man who was naked stole a fire truck at an apartment complex in South Carolina and sped away, killing a pedestrian who was walking on a sidewalk.

Police say the driver was pulled from the fire truck after it crashed into trees and he began fighting with police and paramedics. A Beaufort police supervisor was not immediately available Saturday to confirm the driver’s identity.

 

The man jumped behind the wheel of the fire truck after firefighters with the Beaufort-Port Royal Fire Department responded to an apartment complex.

The Beaufort County coroner’s office says 28-year-old Justin Miller of Port Royal was killed by the careening fire truck. The fire truck also hit several cars.

    Obama voters all….. The perps, the cops, the firefighters all democrats every last eff’n one. Democrats starting fires in their projects with their ‘smokes’, crackpipes , having heartattacks because they are 300lbs. drug addicts, fighting, stealing, raping, murdering…. all requireing more democrats (police and fire) to respond. All of this… the welfare $ that the Obama voters stole from taxpayers to buy smokes and start fires…. the fire trucks, the cop cars, the jails the salaries for all these Gov’t hacks…. All of this stuff is paid for by WHITE working taxpayers. The amount of blacks and hispanics that actually pay taxes is statistically zero, caomparitively. We need to stop funding the democrats existence, they are destroying the country.

      No crap. How drug testing hasn’t been a requirement from day one is beyond me. I have to take radom drug test to get and keep my job to pay for these low life morons while they sit back collect my taxes and smoke crack. Little backwards to me.

      Back in the 70‘s the gov’t wanted to drug test; the ACLU stepped in and ‘fought’ for the rights of the underprivileged. Same with sterilization after two kids.

    Just picture it. Volunteer Fire Dept. and yes, the keys are in the darn trucks because they are responding to an emergency and should NOT have to worry about crackheads jacking their vehicles. Keep it up people. Pretty soon NO BODY is gonna come when you call.

      Same with military vehicles, remember the infamous story of police chasing a stolen tank through the sub-burbs of L.A. in the early 1990′s? All the guy had to do was cut a lock to open up a hatch on the turret and he had access to that vehicle.

    I don’t even know what to say about this. My first thought was “string him up”, but he is obviously insane. I feel for the person he killed. Fire departments have to keep the trucks running, can’t have them shutting down the equipment and removing keys. Maybe keep a guard dog in the cab. Train it to attack anyone without firemans equipment getting in the door.

      I thought of that too I wish that they just shot him since he already killed someone & was continuing evading with his killing machine .
      Paramedics have the same policy to let the engine run when responding that’s when a loon took the ambulance for a joy ride & destroyed it & of course he claimed insanity & was ordered to attend 6 month of clinical mental treatment & was free again .
