Pedophile Cut Open in British Prison

Mitchell Harrison was in a British prison for, and reportedly boasted about, raping a 13-year-old girl. Two convicts were arrested Saturday after the 23-year-old rapist was found in his cell, dead and disemboweled. IOL News on the grizzly just desserts:

“Mitchell Harrison, 23, was killed at high-security Frankland Prison, in County Durham – where last year Soham killer Ian Huntley was slashed in the throat by a fellow inmate.

Serial sex attacker Harrison was butchered with makeshift weapons, thought to be razor blades melted into toothbrush handles.”

Post-mortem examination found that he had died from “multiple injuries,” but reports have surfaced that a source close to the prison said: “To all intents and purposes he had been disemboweled. There was blood everywhere.”

The inmate attackers Michael Parr, 32, and Nathan Mann, 23, appeared at Peterlee Magistrates’ Court where they spoke only to confirm their names.

Harrison was sentenced in January 2010 to a minimum of four-and-a-half years in prison for raping a 13-year-old girl in 2009. The pedophile had also been formally warned when he was 13 for indecently assaulting a 7-year-old girl, and at age 15 was taken to court for threatening to rape a 15-year-old classmate.

BBC News reports that a statement has been released by Mitchell’s family saying he did not deserve to die in such a “horrific way”.

“Although we never condoned his past actions, he was serving his time and was by all accounts a model, trusted prisoner who did not deserve to die in this horrific way.

“We look forward to the day when the people responsible are brought to justice.”

According to Sky News, Frankland is a Category A facility housing more than 800 inmates, including some of the most serious offenders in the prison system.

      This wouldn’t have happened if they had given him the death penalty. That would be much better. Not that I think he didn’t deserve what he got, I don’t like the fact that the prisoners got away with murdering him. They most likely are murderers themselves and should have been killed instead of locked up. I don’t hold to paying to keep people in prison when they should die, even if sometimes it works out like this. It still is not worth it.

      This loser knew after the first time that he raped a young girl that if he went to prison… they would definately try to kill him. He goes there and brags about his deeds. He got what he knew would happen… no surprise to me or the majority of the people that know or have read about the prison system. I understand how his parents would feel bad but… they knew he would have a tough time serving in prison. They created a bad seed. Not intensionally I’m sure but this young man go what he deserved. Think of all the money that these prisoners saved the taxpayers in Briton… way to go guys!

      My husband is a Corrections Officer of 23 years and #1 on the hit list of other inmates are Peddies …. and bragging Preddies …. #1 with a sidebar ….. nuff said …. Although in Britain way back a few hundered years …. ripping their guts out … chopping their limbs off …. cutting their heads off … were spectator sports almost …. Just Ask their prior Kings and their history .. very gory!!

    This is a sad story. I’m sure the so-called pervert who was disemboweled was also a victim of incest or rape. The 13 year old girl will most likely grow up to become a teacher and we will read that she was arrested for having sex with one of her students. Nobody ever wins from abuse…Abuse breeds Abuse, a revolving door of victims abusing victims.I’m not justifying anything here, statistics speak for themselves.

      That’s not always true. I was molested by multiple abusers as a child, and I’m not a rapist or molestor, never dated anyone younger than a few years younger than me. It doesn’t always end that way.being a victim of rape doesn’t make you a rapist. Being raised in an abusive family (and no, it wasn’t my parents) doesn’t necessarily corrupt a person.

      While cronic vilolence/sexual abuse could begat more of the same.There is no evidence that sporadic instances of either, create more of the same.Furthermore there is no proof that the cascade effect of sexual abuse/torture would lead the victims to perform genuinely criminal sexual acts either.[rape involuntary sexual relations,relations with children exc].Why the hell are you blaming the victims?
      Furthermore cronic violence left unchecked will eventually lead to more violence [if for no other reaon self defense]or cronic health problems.Stop blaming the victims.start putting the blame where it belongs on the perpetrators,instigators and other assorted hoodlums.Stop prosecuting persecuting the victims for self defense.We are america not the mid east.

      That’s so true, I too was abused by relatives as a preschooler, as was 1 sibling. I found my answer in Christ at 11, the sibling in early 20′s. although we both went through some rather confused years, neither of us would ever have thought of abusing others, adults or children.
      God heals ALL WOUNDS. Most people we know would never know we had anything but a happy childhood, and we both enjoy being grandparents, SS teachers, working for our churches, etc. (His son is a missionary.)
      To brag about having raped a child? Some do need the death penalty! I know in America it is not a crime taken nearly seriously enough, this leads to the circle of abuse.

    Yeah! This is very good news. When a child is raped, it robs them of their innocence. This guy was a sicko. I’m glad he is dead because he will never rape a child again.

      Justice had already been served by the courts!The inmates instituted the penalty as they saw fit.One could get rid of alot of the rapists/child molesters in this country just by mixing the populations.Remember Dalmer he did not last that long like one year.

      Of course our justice system is flawed, it can and does get bought every day. Money seems to be the best evidence of innocents. How many rich people do you suppose are on death row? How many in State Max security? I’ll bet not too many if any. That is part of the problem we face, we have too many lawyers who are trained to utilize 3 paragraphs to say yes or no. They make up the laws and put in loop holes for the rich.
      As far as vigilante justice in concerned, I’ll bet that if all citizens were armed, crime would become a thing of the past.

    I work in the field of abolishing human sexual slavery or trafficking if you prefer. The atrocities that I have witnessed against children, some as young as 2 years old , gives me nightmares and makes me physically ill. This is done everyday on a large scale all over the world and I for one understand completely the feelings of these 2 gentlemen who showed this pervert to the door…..I could use a couple of guys like them on my team…..where can I get ahold of them???

      To **THAITRAILS** complete thanks and deep appreciation to you for the selfless work you do, so sorry if you have to witness unspeakable things. I don’t know the depth of your work but any involvement in working against crimes against children is Nobel Prize worthy and you are a Superhero in my eyes.

      I don’t know when America/the world will ever truly take take action to stop child abuse/ICAC etc. **Please look into RET/ EMDR therapies, Rapid Eye Therapy/Technology or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing for -both victims- the children and law enforcement.

      These therapies are incredibly successful and in my opinion necessary to help any victim of abuse to feel normal/ comfortable and live a normal life. I have had such therapies and will one day practice because my goal is to “rescue” traumatized and tortured victims through this therapy.

      Whatever it is you do, my heart and prayers go out to you and others you work with who are real Superheros in the world today.

    Now the 13 year old girl got the justice HER family deserved. Screw that sick gutted pig AND the parents that spawned him…bet his daddy “created” him at a young age…he was a serial rapist and would’ve done it to some other girlnafter his ridiculously short sentence.       LMAO. Great response. I had a cousin who served time in prison along time ago. The one thing that no convict likes is a rapist. A baby rapist even less. Convicts hold their children in a frame of thought that is almost in adoration, and that’s a right state of mind. BRAVO to the Brits for gutting the worst kind of criminal, being, someone that who harm an innocent member of society scarring them for life.

      I doubt it.I have a sister who worked with the FL criminal system with rapist in trying to see if they can be reformed and after 5-10 years of that she told me “NO”.They are leaches on society once the first deed has been committed they will always look for more power.
