Pelosi Aide Denies Daughter’s Claim She Wants to Leave Congress

An aide to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi denied Thursday that the California Democrat wants to leave politics, after a report surfaced that she is only staying in Congress for her donors.
“She would retire right now, if the donors she has didn’t want her to stay so badly,” Pelosi’s daughter Alexandra, a filmmaker and activist, was quoted as saying. “They know she wants to leave, though. They think she’s destined for the wilderness. She has very few days left. She’s 71, she wants to have a life, she’s done. It’s obligation, that’s all I’m saying.”
But Pelosi spokeswoman Nadeam Elshami pushed back against Alexandra Pelosi’s claim, calling it “totally untrue.”
“This may be wishful thinking on the part of a right-wing blog, but it is totally untrue,” Elshami told Politico. “When the day comes and Leader Pelosi’s work is done, she won’t be announcing it there.”
In an email to Politico, Alexandra Pelosi did not deny making the remark, but wouldn’t elaborate on it.
“I don’t speak for Nancy Pelosi — I was merely projecting my own personal opinions,” Alexandra Pelosi said in an email.

Even though if she was prosecuted she would go to a nice white collar jail and they do have those which means more of our money especially at her age even though we pay her insurance that is a whole new bill we would have to pay if she gets ill in prison. I don’t think trust is a factor at all, as his writings and speeches for decades prove he hates capitalism, businesses and owners, rich people, the middle class, America in general and whites. The actions you address, like Solyndra, like the massive debt bailouts and health care bomb are the grenades he is leaving for the next group to finish off the country while he can point from the sideline as the new peoples’ fault.
