Pelosi Blames Bush for Dems’ Electoral Shellacking, Loss of Speakership

Question: What’s the statute of limitations on using former President George W. Bush as a scapegoat?

“We still would have lost the election because we had 9.5% unemployment. Let’s take it where that came from. The policies of George W. Bush and the Republican support for his initiatives, tax cuts are for the wealthy, recklessness by some,” the new Minority Leader told CNN Friday:

Democrats have controlled Congress since 2007. Four years and an accompanying Democratic White House later, they’re still blaming Bush.

On Thursday, Pelosi gave the media a tour of her new, smaller “sparsely decorated” digs. “I don’t plan to stay here that long,” she quipped, suggesting Democrats will retake the House majority in 2012.

    Well I remember when Clinton was president for two years and they still blamed Reagon for their problems. The dems. just can’t take responsibilty for their own dumb polices. They act like little kids who don’t get their way. But hopefully she is right and won’t be there long. With a little luck she will be brought up on treason charges and be sent to prison.

    If anyone thinks the idiots in kalifornia actually keep electing this piece of human debris… you are crazy. there may be some in the state who, for whatever reason support her ignorant rants and votes but we all know the unions such as seiu and thier ilk keep swaying the vote and we all just keep letting it happen. I am not sure what the fix is.. but it needs to happen soon.

They will feed the fire with everything she has to say, and we all know she can be one nasty gal.     Must be Bush.

    When Bush II was inaugurated, the national debt was $5.7 TRILLION.
    When Bush II left, the national debt was $10.6 TRILLION.
    An increase of $4.9 trillion over 8 years.

    Compared to Obama, who managed a promise to stop special interests and then catered to them, increasing the debt almost as much as Bush II did in 2 years time.

    Current debt…$14 TRILLION.

    Unemployment rate for Bush: 5.27%
    Unemployment rate for Obama: 9.3% (and that is even AFTER hearing about all those millions and billions of jobs he has created and/or saved).

    Their is only 1 thing that will save Democrats this year…and next. It will be a Republican controlled Congress that will result in gridlock and prevent any more stupid policies running amok.

The media seemed to believe that Reagan was demented when he referred to the Soviet Union as the “evil empire”. This was long before his public announcement of his condition.

      The progs have tried everything they can to make sure that people all around the country hate GWB so they blame him for everything. Though he did a few things I did not agree with, I have never hated the guy. In fact, I like the guy. And we now know that some of the decisions he made were due to getting bad information from people he was supposed to be able to rely on. Mr. Rove comes to mind and the idiot that told him “its a slam-dunk Mr. President”.

      At least he always stood up to own things that only he decided upon, whereas Nancy only takes credit for those things that are percieved as good and forward thing. And for those moments where she is proven to be a complete ass-hole (which happens to be close to all the time), she has good old GWB to blame. What a terrible person she is.

      If I was stuck on a deserted island with her I would be forced to set-up a life ending accident for her. There is no way I’m going to let her eat-up what little food may be on the island, and besides, I need bait for fishing.
