Nancy Pelosi: Republican Jews Are Being Exploited So That Party Leaders Can Lower Taxes for The Rich

Nancy Pelosi argued Friday that Republican Jews are being “exploited” as an excuse for “tax cuts for the wealthy” during a Bloomberg News interview.

In one of the more difficult-to-follow cases of logic put forth by a politician, Pelosi began by explaining why she thinks president Obama will win in November, before explaining her rationale.

Bloomberg News relates:

HUNT: Do you think he’ll do as well with the Jewish vote this time as he did last time?

PELOSI: The election will tell us that.

HUNT: What do you think?

PELOSI: But I – I think that he will. I think that he will, because the fact is when the facts get out. You know, as many of the Republicans are using Israel as an excuse, what they really want are tax cuts for the wealthy. So Israel, that can be one reason they put forth.

HUNT: That’s why some of the Republican Jewish supporters are really active.

PELOSI: Well, that’s how they’re being exploited. And they’re smart people. They follow these issues. But they have to know the facts. And the fact is that President Obama has been the strongest person in terms of sanctions on Iran, which is important to Israel…

So– Republicans just support Israel as a sneaky way to reduce taxes?

Interviewer Al Hunt later speculated that what Pelosi really meant to say was that Republicans “tap” wealthy Jewish fund-raisers by putting forth Israel as a policy issue, when all they really want is a tax cut for themselves.

Hot Air explained Pelosi’s logic another way: “Ah, yes — groups of like-minded people coming together to spend their own money supporting a candidate who isn’t a Democrat. A certifiable case of ‘exploitation’ if ever there was one, eh?”

    Nancy must be getting a little worried. What else (other than severely diminished mental faculties) explains her rush to corral the Jews back into the Democratic Jewish ghetto? Does she sense that Obama’s disrespect of Netanyahu and Israel may be driving away Jewish voters that used to vote primarily for Democrats? Hmmmm.

    Democrats want, but take for granted, the Jewish votes just like they want, and take for granted, the Black “government-plantation” votes. Ponder this, Nancy, come the day after the election, you may just wake up to a brand new reality.

For the life of me I can’t figure out how she ever became a US representative. (Dead people have been really busy stuffing the ballot box in her district.)

      They know President Obama is as firm in his support of Israelis as any other American President. Yes, he’s challenged the conservative Prime Minister of Israel on the best way find peace with the Palestinians, proposing the much the same that every other American President has. But they know the US is doing everything short of war to limit the ability of Iran (for example) to attack Israel.

      And they know now that Bush really screwed up by overthrowing the Iraqi government, a country that hated Iran – they were mortal enemies – and kept them from expanding their influence. Now Iran is the preeminent power in the Middle East. Thanks Bush! What a miscalculation that was.

      In any case, the Israelis aren’t fooled by American politics. They know about all the financial, overt and covert support President Obama has given them and aren’t fooled by the nonsense presented on FOX.

      My original post and that of JZS perfectly demonstrates the national Rorschach test our culture is experiencing. Some in our country (liberals, progressives, democrats) see the inkblot failure of Obama, Pelosi, Reid, etc and think “Oh, that’s fine, no problem.”

      The rest of the country, basically patriots and conservatives, see the inkblot mess of Obama for what it is–the failure of a man in way over his head, but too proud to admit his mistake, too arrogant to repent, and too weak to redirect his energy to really serve America.

      BROGEOTOO, gazing at the black and white Rorschach image of your post, I see one thing clearly. You divide the world into two parts, the good and the bad, with no gray area in between. On the black side there is “Obama, Pelosi Reid, liberals, progressives democrats etc.” On the white side of that Rorschach image, are the “patriots and conservatives.”

      The first thing I see is that you see six people on the black side, and two people on the white side – “patriots and conservatives.” Seems to me you feel a little overwhelmed, by a factor of 3:1, having many more nouns for the people you fear than ones for the ones who give you security. I notice also that you call out your enemies on the black side by name, but you give no names of people on your side, the white side of your Rorschach image. Why is that?

      I also noticed that you said the white side consisted of “patriots and conservatives.” I don’t think you meant those to be separate things. In your mind I doubt you can be conservative and not be a patriot, or a patriot and not be a conservative. I find your ambiguity on that point very interesting, possibly suggesting you have ambivalent feelings on that point.

      Overall I‘d say you’re taking psy 101, may have questions about your own sexuality and are certainly confused about politics. But, that’s what post suggests.

      Mrs. Pelosi needs to hook up with her brothers and sisters at the Westboro Church, so she can practice more of her Hate filled speaches!       Does anyone believe we’ll make it another 4 years if obama loses and declares martial law? People we have to take over the Senate and keep the House.       It is all because of Massengill. Years ago they came up with an easy and efficient female hygiene product that allowed women to feel fresh and would not repulse others when they had “Unpleasant Odor”. Thus, allowing even filthy scanks to attract well off men. Nancy, years ago discovered this product and used it religiously, attracted her husband, who, because he could pull in lots of money, allowed her to be a stay at home mom. Soon Nancy got bored and decided to take up politics, now she really need to be “Clean and Fresh” when meeting the voters, all of her dirty hippy constituents. They were very impressed that she didn’t stink like a seal that gorged himself on a fisherman’s catch. So they overwhelmingly voted her in to represent the dirty hippy population of San Francisco. Her husband was just glad to get her out of the house, and the rest is history.

      So if you want someone to blame for this woman, blame Massengill, maker of feminine hygiene products that make skanks seem clean.
