Penn State Victims Mother: Son Said You Just Cant Tell Jerry No

The mother of one of the alleged molestation victims of former Penn State University coach Jerry Sandusky said her son came to her wanting to know how to look up “sex weirdos” on the Internet. When she asked him why, he said he wanted to see if Sandusky was on there.

“He’s a weirdo,” her son said.

The boy’s mother revealed that and more during an interview on ABC’s “Good Morning America” Friday, her face in shadow and voice disguised. She told host George Stephanopoulos that Sandusky used to pull her son, known as Victim 1, out of class without her knowledge and that he frequently spent the night at Sandusky’s house.

Sandusky volunteered with the high school’s varsity football program and was allowed unrestricted access to the school, according to the grand jury indictment that led to Sandusky’s arrest last week on 40 counts of molesting eight boys over a 15-year period, ABC reported. In one such instance, prosecutors say, a wrestling coach witnessed inappropriate touching between Sandusky and the boy and saw Sandusky lying on top of him in the weight room.

According to the grand jury investigation, Sandusky is alleged to have “indecently fondled Victim 1 on a number of occasions, performed oral sex on Victim 1 on a number of occasions and had Victim 1 perform oral sex on him on at least one occasion.”

After the “sex weirdo” comment, the boy’s mother said she asked him whether there was anything he needed to tell her, but it wasn’t until a month later that he said he was uncomfortable around Sandusky.

It was a guidance counselor the boy finally confided to, and when his mother asked why he didn’t come forward sooner, he told her: “I didn’t know what to do, I just didn’t know what to do, and you just can’t tell Jerry no.”

The boy‘s mother said she was glad to hear of Coach Joe Paterno’s firing.

“He may have legally done what he needed to do,” she said. “[But] I think they all needed to be gone.”

Still, she said her son is still “cheering” for Penn State.

“The students of Penn State are not involved in hiding this or doing anything to him,” she said. “He’s all cheering for the team, but as far as the people who hid, it he has no respect for these people.”

“I want justice, I want him to be locked up,” she said of Sandusky. “There’s no help for somebody who does this — he needs to be put away, he needs to be put away for a long time.”

    You think calling the law will always help – it doesn’t – we had 2 children molested – ages 4 and 7 – 13 children involved – we were the only ones that pressed charges – neighbors come begging us to drop the charges because this man wen to church every Sunday and was a big figure in the neighborhood – The Priest ask us to drop the charges – the Chief of Police ask us to drop the charges – We were the bad guys because we was causing all these problems in the neighborhood – they let the man come home after 3 months in rehab – he killed himself in front of the children – 13 lives ruined – they never get over it – there is no telling how many lives this pervert has ruined.

    Okay from this mother’s words you have to wonder, WHERE IS HER OUTRAGE???? She should be holding a gun to Sandusky’s head right now. Does this woman realize that because she was not doing her job as a mother her son was used as a sex toy???? Some people are not maternal or paternal enough to be parents. She let him spend the night with a grown man? She needs to be checked out as much as any of them. What part did she play in this ongoing horror?

    Kids are trusting and they don’t suspect, pedophiles groom kids and they feel safe with them then when they least suspect it they do what they want to the kid and after it it done they either tell the kids it is their secret or they tell them they are special friend or even resorting to threats of harm to their family and a kid does not want something bad to happen to their family. they are confused hurt sickened and lost something they can hardly even express..how does a childs morals stack up against someone so wicked and vile…don’t victimize the victims they have been been hunted down like an animal by these pukes, it is up to society to be watchful, you can almost tell there is something not right with these people…when your instincts tell you something is not right keep your eyes open and pay attention you may be unsure but these guys always give themselves away sooner or later…These kids that have been harmed bear the scars long after the incidents and they are walking wounded no thanks to the heartless scabs that would harm a child in such a way…how vile these people can be! sickening

      I wonder if Sandusky has a wife and kids? If He does, can you imagine the horror of them finding this out and then having to live with this the rest of their life? People can be cruel and I hope if he does have a family, that they won’t be cruel to them. This is so sad on so many levels.

    What the heck took so long?????? Knowing what we know now, which isn’t really much, JoePa and company should have been gone LONG LONG AGO. The power of the billions of dollars now in major college athletics has totally erased the original meaning of the student-athlete, and created a wall of separation from the school, where this type of thing could occur. Let this perverse tragedy cause introspection, and get us back to virtue….one can only pray.

    Penn State and their football program mirror the corruption going on in Washington. Power, Greed, lack of honesty, integrity, and courage by those in authority. Passiveness and indifference on the part of those not in authority. Good vs Evil in all these cases, reflects not having a committment to right over wrong, and the courage to do what is right. Each and everyone, including Paterno was afraid of the system, the big money, the people with the power, the organization. The little guy gets hurt and the rest turn a blind eye to save themselves.

      What difference does it make what political party they belong to? There are Republican, Democrat and Libertarian perverts and perverts of every religious or non-religious belief. What clouded their proper handling of this situation was the amount of $$ in college sports. All of these men valued their jobs, their power and their paychecks more than they valued the victims.

      All across America universities want more and more money for their sports programs (mostly football and basketball). Look at the salaries of the coaches and athletic directors. Look at the huge stadiums being built and the donor money that pours into these universities to support their football and basketball programs. Education is secondary. The American public has completely lost their values and grasp on what is important.

      Never hear about how many students actually complete a four year degree and graduate, but you sure hear about the sports scores. Every year our football team or basketball team has at least one student arrested for DWI, assault or a sex offense. Every few year or so someone in the athletic department such as a coach, asst coach, etc is involved in a scandal. Yet millions are poured into these programs. I guess we get what we pay for.

    Wow there is the meltdown of morals and teaching kids …Now back when I was growing up you had the term …Fg…you know what I mean ..or Que..If you know what I mean .. (because god forbid you even type the truth today) even here those words of definition are omitted …Or fairy (just makes it)..and of course weirdo ….Now If a adult ..especially a grown up teacher coach were to do more than lay a hand on a kid and gesture good job…You better believe they would be labeled and sent out to pasture…But those were the day perverts were ashamed to come out of the closet or behind a closed door ..Because being a man meant you were a man. and sex education in the early stages was ..Do let a weirdo …Fg Or..Qur …anything like that touch you…Now we have have Bravo reality TV shows, movies where it is idolized…Sickening ..But hey again you reap what you sow .and in this case its sexual perversion …To bad that young man didn’t have a parent smart enough to first teach him to stay away from weirdos …He might have been able to run away before the attack from the fg ….

My prayers are with these boys and there families, God help them, they will be haunted by this their entire lives yet this man will live while he has taken not only their innocence but will make them fight tooth and nail for the rest of their lives to overcome this. He needs to be shot and his assets divided amongst the kids for counseling.

    If ANY man or woman walked in a man RAPING A CHILD, they should have ran over and stopped it and then called the police.

    If that person who saw this happening thought he was in danger, then CALL 911 AND GET THE CAMPUS POLICE – TELL EVERYONE. YELL FIRE outside the building to attract attention.

    There is NO EXCUSE – NONE- ZERO – NADA for anyone who knew this happened whether the college investigated or not (A COLLEGE IS NOT THE POLICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)..

    Every single person who knew and did not call the police SHOULD BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY.

    ANYONE that was involved and/or knew about young boys being molested and who did not do the right thing should be fired. As much as I have admired Paterno over the years if he knew and didn’t do the right thing he SHOULD be fired. I don’t know enough about any of “the moms” to remark on that but I can guarantee you that if there was even a hint of someone possibly molesting one of my children I would have been on it like nothing else. And I wouldn’t care just how popular/rich they are, they would never be allowed to be around my child. God bless the victims and their family. “Every knee will bow and every tongue confess”

      Exactly. Paterno got fired for not relaying 2nd hand information to the police. Who knows how detailed the assistant coach was in describing what happened to him. The coach who actually witnessed it is still coaching? I can’t believe that. Forget calling the cops, how do you not confront him right on the spot about what he’s doing to that kid? Stop him in the act, then go to the police about it. It’s hard to argue with Paterno being fired, but I‘m confused how he’s gone but the eye witness is still around.

    The three most degenerate careers in this country right now sports, politicians and hollywood. They all need their money, media, and audience taken away for life. Money breeds corruption especially when it’s just handed over to the sports department without supervision. Oh wait, they did have supervision and the supervisors hid the crime. The president, dean, chancellor, board members and faculty members in the sports department should be fired right along with paterno. There isn’t one of these people who can ask a student of Penn State to follow their honor code.

      I agree. Let’s see if they get to the bottom of it. A lot of people including other students knew about what was going on and didn’t say anything. Paterno had to have known even after the first few years, but fifteen years? This guy should be locked up for good.
