TPM:

The office of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords on Tuesday night released two photos taken inside the hospital room where the Arizona Democrat is recovering after she was shot in the head on Saturday.

U.S. Navy Captain Mark Kelly, Giffords’s husband, is seen by her side and holding her hand in the two photographs, which her office said were taken in University Medical Center on Sunday, Jan. 9.

“Thank you for your outpouring of support for all of the victims of this senseless tragedy,” the office wrote in a Facebook post. “Gabrielle’s doctors continue to be optimistic about her recovery.”

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Doctors say an Arizona congresswoman is breathing on her own after being shot in the head.

Dr. Michael Lemole, Giffords’ neurosurgeon, says they’ve left a breathing tube in Rep. Gabrielle Giffords to protect her airway, but the congresswoman is drawing breaths on her own. She’s alert and responding to doctors.

Six people are still hospitalized after the shooting Saturday at a Tucson grocery store. The attack killed six and injured 14 others.

Giffords, a three-term Democrat, was gravely wounded. A federal judge was among those killed.

Wow, I’m all choked up here. I now get to see the other side of what it must have been like for my family member!

May God’s grace be with all that are touched by this mad man. May God’s grace heal all that have been hurt by this lunatic. May God’s grace surround us all with love, peace and joy.

There are now UNCONFIRMED reports that Loughner’s Mountain View school was involved in some of Communist Bill Ayres, Annenberg, Soros Funded programs focused on influencing youth. It has been reported that Obama provided funding for these programs in the 90s.

Again this data is unconfirmed and NEEDS TO BE VETTED by a top flight research team such as Beck has at his fingertips.

My prayers and petitions continue for this brave young woman. But she was only one of many who either through their death or injuries, brought devastating pain to those who love them. May God’s blessings be with them all.

This old video of the Lord‘s work may give some hope for those who may think it’s hopeless for Gabby. Some may find it disturbing, but it’s a miracle nonetheless.

I sincerely hope the people who choose to lead the thoughts of healing and support away from those who would freely give, feel the sting of regret.

I was a nurse in advanced and critical care before I retired a few years ago and I observed much anguish and suffering by reletives and friends and my heart went out to them then as it goes out to the Gifford family now. From what I have heard up to now Rep. Giffords is a tough lady and from the sounds of it she will have a long row to hoe. She has the suppot her family and the nation. The support from her family will never wane and the nation should never forget what has happened. By the grace of God she will get better.

I add my prayers to yours. With the sincere and heartfelt prayers of the many of us, may Gabrielle and all of the others who remain nameless to many of us, continue to heal and gather strength. The power of prayer is a never ending force for good. Our Father in Heaven knows each one of us and his love is the greatest Balm to those who suffer pain, fear and grief.

My heart also goes out to the families of the deceased. 3 people in their 70′s and a 9 year old that were murdered for nothing. This is a terrible crime and I hope justice is done swiftly.
