Planned Parenthood Celebrates ‘Happy Masturbation Month’

Planned Parenthood is an intricate organization that often finds itself in the cross-hairs of controversy. If not for its abortion services, the group sometimes catches fire for the bizarre activities and marketing techniques it uses. Consider the Six Rivers Planned Parenthood of Eureka, California, and its pro-abortion prayer campaign — an initiative we covered last month. Now, Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida is apparently launching a new celebratory campaign – Masturbation Month.
On Friday, the local affiliate tweeted, “Happy Masturbation Month! We’ve got lots of info on masturbation here,“ with a link to a web page chock full of information detailing the ”harmful myths about masturbation.”
The Planned Parenthood web site claims that there are heath benefits to masturbation and that “it’s…common for children and teens to masturbate.” In a FAQ section, the organization takes on a number of questions surrounding masturbation and shares some somewhat graphic details regarding how the process is undertaken.
Also on Friday, the main Planned Parenthood Twitter account shared the same message (i.e. re-tweeted) on its feed.
On the aforementioned web site, the organization does claim that masturbation is a safe way to steer clear of sexually-transmitted diseases. In the end, though, much like the prayer campaign, this is an odd initiative of sorts, especially considering that the site seems to be encouraging individuals of all ages to participate.

They are targeting girls because only 24% of girls masturbate by age 18 and only 52% of women have masturbated at end-of-life. Feminists have always tried to get girls and women to masturbate so as to get in touch with their sexual femininity. The truth is that a woman‘s sexuality doesn’t truly emerge until she has regular sex with her husband, someone who is committed to her welfare and being.
