Planned Parenthood Leader Arrested on Allegations of Indecent Exposure in a TX Park

The last thing Planned Parenthood needs is an indecent exposure scandal, but, alas, that is what the organization finds itself with after Tony Ray Thornton, the President and CEO of the Lubbock, Texas, affiliate was arrested earlier this week.

On Tuesday, Thornton was released on a $750 bond after being detained on Monday over charges that he exposed himself in a local park. The Planned Parenthood CEO, 56, was picked up at the baseball fields inside Mackenzie Park around 3:30 p.m.

Following the incident, KCBD-TV reports that Thornton did not go to his office. In fact, a receptionist told the outlet on Tuesday afternoon, via telephone, that he would not be in for the entire day. A reporter subsequently went to his home to get a statement, but there was no answer at the door. KCBD-TV continues:

According to Texas Penal Code 21.08, indecent exposure is committed when a suspect exposes his genitals with the intent to arouse the sexual desire of another person. It’s a class B misdemeanor.

KCBD NewsChannel 11 contacted the national headquarters of Planned Parenthood. A person with the media relations department said they would work to issue a statement on Thornton’s arrest. As of Tuesday evening we have not received a response.

According to The Daily Caller, Thornton has been a Planned Parenthood employee for several years. The leader has also been active in protests and in speaking out regarding women’s rights issues. Over the weekend, he was part of a protest against Texas’ decision to cut funding for a program associated with the organization.

“Without this program women will not have access to birth control. They will get pregnant. Our unintended pregnancy rate will increase dramatically,” Thornton told reporters about the cuts just days before his arrest. ”If you don‘t think that’s going to affect abortion rates you’re wrong.”

There is no confirmation at the moment regarding whether his employment with the organization will continue.

      He’s a homosexual who works for liberal causes, because he perceives that installing a liberal agenda into society will assist homosexuals in gaining mainstream acceptance. (That’s called being delusional)

      I see where one poster has mentioned he works for the NAMBLA. Was that a bit of a joke or has he actually worked for them?

      I wouldn’t be surprised if it were true.

      Anyone else caught doing something like this would have to register for the rest of their life as a “sex offender”. Some how, I doubt that THIS pig is subject to that requirement.

      But, it also demonstrates, once again, with crystal clarity that much of our government and its associated bureaucratic spawn are filled with perverts, liars and just all around pigs. As that “IS” the safest place to be.. in the pack.

      He was exercising the new liberal buzzword “access”. In his case, “access” to children for his perversions. Access to liberals can mean many things. It can literally be accessability to something or it can mean someone else must be coerced into paying for something a liberal demands. In Thornton’s case, he’s using the word in both liberal meanings. He wants access to children and he wants “access” to tax money to pay for abortions.

      Let me get this straight, Planned Parenthood makes 90% of it’s profit from from providing abortions and they are saying that they are committed to helping women get free birth control………..so there will be less abortions……Sure that makes perfect sense….Once again, the truth turned inside out.

      From our local paper, “Thornton, 56, was arrested at a baseball field on Municipal Drive in Lubbock, said Sgt. Jonathan Stewart with the Lubbock Police Department.

      According to the police report, the alleged victim was a 43-year-old male.”

    These people are convinced they don’t play by the same rules as others. Granted, there is is the odd pervert revealed now and again on both the left and right (and I expect him or her to be owned by his team), but Planned Parenthood lost any hope of credibility when it became obvious that entity doesn’t give one hot crap about mandated reporter (of child abuse and neglect) laws. And its defenders don’t either. Any and all unethical and illegal behavior can be minimized by Planned Parenthood’s defenders. And they’ll gladly do it in a condescending tone.
    A nefarious concern sheltered a freak? Wow. What a surprise.

    In fact, they are a part of a very strong evolutionary force against blacks – only the thinking ones are having abortions (didn’t say “moral”, just “thinking”). As a result, the IQ of the black population is plummeting at an insane rate. In fact, the IQ of American Blacks has fallen sufficiently as to deserve a new race or sub-species category. Anthropologists will be able to study this change in the decades to come, but in the mean-time, it is kept a tidy little secret. No one would dare do an IQ study based upon race, even if it meant exposing a crime against the black population in an effort to protect them – the study sponsors would be declared racists, lol.
