Poetic Justice or Assault? Woman Gropes TSA Agent in Phoenix

Are you sick of TSA agents getting a little too hands-on? One Colorado woman is accused of turning the tables on a TSA agent in Phoenix. Police say 61-year-old Yukari Mihamae “squeezed and twisted the agent’s breast with both hands.”

Fox 10:

“Officers say Mihamae admitted to the crime.

There’s no word why she touched the agent.

Mihamae now faces a felony count of sexual abuse.

According to court records, she lives in Longmont, Colorado and is self-employed.”

Phoenix police say the incident occurred Thursday afternoon at a checkpoint at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. TSA staff say Mihamae refused to go through passenger screening and became argumentative before she squeezed and twisted the agent’s breast with both hands.

Ouch.

Police were called and say Mihamae admitted to the grab and continued to argue with officers before she was arrested. Maricopa County jail officials say Mihamae was released from custody Friday. They couldn’t immediately provide any information about her case status.

      I think it’s ironic that people are so against TSA measures to prevent terrorists from blowing up a plane, but when a plane with Americans aboard gets blown up, you’re going to blame President Obama.

      Cool for you. You are against screening people boarding airplanes, and blame Obama for that, but if a bad guy gets through and blows up a plane, you’ll blame President Obama and say he was soft on terrorist. Awesome point of view: you have your cake and can eat it too. Win, win.

      I think it’s ironic that JZS is probably the first one to lament the Patriot Act….but the first time an Islamic terrorist kills a bunch of Westerners, JZS would be the first to blame Bush/Cheney/Palin/Rush/Right Wingers/America/UK/Capitalism…..

      I would rather have my freedom, than some FALSE sense of security. What the TSA provides, with their little molestations, is not security….rather it is a violation of the 4th Ammendment.       I’m curious as to why such a liberal as JZS would torment himself by being a member of the Blaze. I know it’s a free country, but do you really get your kicks by trying to tweak up conservatives. I think she probably got tired of being groped. And we’re not against tactics such as profiling and singling out for further inspection those that have been known to cause trouble. But a 90 something old cancer patient, a woman who is a cancer survivor and has a prosthetic breast, a nun? come on, how many of those types have blown up planes? It’s the middle eastern jihadist who wants to take down America, but our illustrious president is in bed with the terrorists, so you won’t see any of that bad profiling. I think the single out those that don‘t fit the profile on purpose so they can claim they’re doing their job.

This has all gone far enough. Either you go hands on with everyone, or no one.       JZS…just proves how miss informed you really are. Screening is fine but the gripping isn’t. Its gotten out of control. Why don’t they just do the screening the right way & profile based on the known characteristics of terrorists. This feeling up of pick & choose so we don’t profile is a bunch of crap. The system as of now doesn’t work…doesn’t catch the true terrorists…hence Christmas bomber.

    Well, that really has got to hurt for that TSA agent. This is what eventually happens each time the TSA subjects people to these bestial, unconstitutional searches “for their safety.” Sigh…It’s too bad that Yukari Mihamae will now have to face the possibility of being forced to register as a “sex offender” for life, while those corrupt, irresponsible TSA agents never have to worry about losing their occupations. It seems that equal justice has been thrown out the window.

    The TSA is way out of control, time to end the mess and go back to private security, I have to fly quite a bit for work and the family goes to Asia at least once a year, and this security thing is really getting tired, we have NO real security here at our airports, they are too scared to look at dangerous people close, so they go right to the gate and the safe passengers get groped, why don’t we profile like they do in Israel????? They have a pretty good track record at it.

    This is very confusing…she was in the “groping zone” of the airport… She groped an American citizen (Albeit, not an innocent American citizen) for no good reason, as is regularly done in the groping zone … What is the problem ?

    Is it because she didn’t follow correct procedures and also grope the genital area ?

    Is it too much to ask for guidelines on this stuff ?

      Some very good, witty comments here. Maybe this logic is a bit over the top, but I’m thinking about the fact that Switzerland has the lowest crime rate in the world. Of course this will only work with domestic flights, as other countries have very more restrictive laws on firearms. What if we get rid of the TSA as well as many other security measures and start encouraging citizens to start exercising their 2nd Amendment rights to start carrying. How many people would be willing to try to hijack an airplane if the knew that there was a pretty good chance that a fairly large percentage of passengers on board were carrying? Yes, I know that a stray bullet could easily penetrate the fuselage, but would YOU try to take over an aircraft possibly filled with armed passengers? Just a thought. Go ahead and flame me.

    People are being violated everyday by the TSA and people are getting frustrated and just feeling powerless against unreasonable search and seizures. We are losing our 1st, 2nd and now 4th Amendment rights. When are they going to arrest the TSA for the same thing “equal justice” or are they above the law.

She should have told them she was there applying for a job and thought they wanted a demonstration of her abilities! The TSA Agents are no more responsible for what they are required to do than a parking lot attendant or a “meter maid.” If you don’t want to be searched, scanned or questioned, here’s your simple “Equal Justice” and “Liberty Protecting” option: DON’T FLY. You don’t fight with the TSA Agent: you fight with your Congressional Representative to DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE INFRINGEMENTS ON YOUR RIGHTS. That’s just the way I see it.

      Shame on every TSA agent for being part of this assault on our bodies and our liberty. There is defense of those who work for TSA– they do not get a pass from me for following orders when those orders are an obscenity and a crime against liberty.

      And don‘t give me any of that crap about how I don’t have to fly, or how it is my choice to take another form of transportation– TSA will be moving to those other forms of transportation (They already have) thanks to gutless wonders who would squander our liberty for a false sense of security. TSA has caught no terrorist; they have flunked every test put to them, and they steal from our luggage while we are being distracted by their sexual assaults.

      If you do not stand up against this, you stand for nothing. Our liberty has never been more threatened, and TSA is where we must draw the line. It must stop. NOW.

      Sorry but the TSA “Agents” don’t have any right to the “Just doin my job Mamm” excuse, any more than the Federal Jack Booted Thugs that Murdered 80+ Men Women and Children at Waco did. That’s the same line the Germans used at Nuremburg, “Befiel ist Befiel” (Orders are Orders) Just as the supporters of this Communist Cr@P will tell you “You don’t “HAVE” to Fly” The Federal Jack Boots don’t “HAVE” to continue working as Domestic Enemies of the Constituion either. NONE of them were DRAFTED, they ALL signed up of their Own Free Will. This INCONVENIENT TRUTH will come back to haunt them here shortly.
