Police: 20 25 Teens Storm Georgia Train, Attack and Mug Riders

ATLANTA (AP) — A group of 20 to 25 youths jumped aboard a commuter train bound for Atlanta’s airport and viciously attacked the passengers, police said.

One of the teenagers bashed a rider in the face with a soda-pop can, pushed him down and stole his wallet, according to a police report. Another passenger late Saturday was punched in the face, the report said.

A video report, via MyFoxAtlanta:

Both riders who were attacked work for Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines, police said. They have been staying at a hotel near Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

The Delta workers – one from Gig Harbor, Wash., and the other from New York City – suffered cuts to their faces in the attack south of downtown Atlanta.

They told police the group of teens boarded the MARTA red line train at the Garnett Station, on the south edge of downtown, and were attacked as the train approached a station.

At one point, two men interceded and separated the teen attackers and Delta workers, police said.

It wasn’t known how many passengers were riding the train at the time, around 11:58 p.m.. The red line is one of two north-south routes that carry air passengers, airline employees and tourists to and from the world’s busiest airport.

No arrests have been made.

    I love reading news headlines from across the country, then GUESS at what race was involved… Pretty easy stuff… Maybe I’m the smartest man alive? Related to Nostrodamus? Have a wonderful and rare gift?     Obama supporters canvasing for campaign contributions and ACORN. They were misunderstood youth just exercising free speech and the right to assemble. The left will increase pressure to instigate a riot & a “Hay market square”shooting event to create a big crisis and make non believers look fascist. This was the 1960′s tactic and the anti war movement prevailed over the quiet majority.       It is a crime in a sovereign state and they have all authority to prosecute. If the justice department decides this crime rises to the level of deprivation of a person’s civil liberties, Eric Holder can quash that. He has no say in the state courts.

    If you shot one of these fine youths you would probably be looking at this from the wrong side of the judge in a criminal and then a civil case. Remember Bernie Goets in NYC. I would think that more than one on one could result in grave injury or death perhaps one on one under the right circumstance. The DA will be under pressure to let the people decide this. Remember the jury will have 12 people who were not there, don’t own guns, and probably have been fed the peace love and understanding BS all their lives. God forbid if you are white and shot black kids ( as this case is) they would crucify you in Atlanta.They would make these kids out to be choir boys lost, coming home from choir practice asking kindly for handouts for the church. If I were on the jury I’d have no problem if someone whipped out an UZI and saved us the trouble of future incarceration and welfare babies from these fine youuts.

      The difference would be that Georgia doesn’t have anti-second amendment lefties all throughout the government like they do in NYC. In Georgia, the people would applaud if a person took out a few of these thugs. Another thing about Georgia, there is no separate concealed permit, the firearms license they issue allows for open or concealed carry.

      That’s what is happening here in West Memphis, Arkansas (a town next to Memphis, TN) where two white police officers shot a 12 year old black child who aimed a gun at them, was ordered to drop the weapon-refused and was shot three times. The cops went through 5 seperate investigations (3 local and 2 federal), cleared by all of them, and are now facing a $250 million civil suit for violating the kid’s civil rights

      Your permit is not recognized in my state, N.Y. If you enter my state with a weapon and a permit from another state, you will be prosecuted. This just happened twice in the last couple of months, one man was aquitted, the second is pending. The chance of me getting a permit to carry a gun in this state is slim to none. So to hell with the state and the permit. I prefer to be a live inmate, rather than a law abiding cadaver.

      What is not known by most people, is that the need to have a permit to carry a consealed weapon is unconstitutional. The 2nd Amendment states clearly, “the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed”. When people understand the meaning of the word “infringed” they will understand that our right to arm ourselves is what it was at the time of the signing of the Constitution.

      The question of security came up. I found this in the Atlanta Journal and Constitution, in a story by Christian Boone:

      “In the four years that I have ridden MARTA to and from my job, I have seen patrols on the train a total of four times,” said Atlanta resident Jeanne Maynard, who takes MARTA daily from the Lakewood station to her office in Sandy Springs. ” In the stations, yes, patrols are there. On the trains where riders are captive to incidents of this type, four times in four years.”

      Witnesses said they heard the youths chant “BFPL,” a familiar acronym to Atlanta police.

      “The Atlanta Police Department is familiar with the ‘BFPL,’ a local gang made up of young people high-school aged and into their early 20s,” said APD spokesman Carlos Campos, adding the initials stand for “Bank First, Play Later.“ The gang typically operates out of the southwest and northwest corners of Atlanta and came to the attention of police ”mostly through a number of car break-ins for which some members were arrested,” Campos said.

      @Showtime – Aren’t they the same group that was doing smash & grabs at the high end stores on Peachtree a few months ago? I think the last time I rode MARTA was in the late 90′s or so; however, back then, if you looked the thugs straight in the eye they backed down. Today’s class of thug gets the power by being in a group. I wish I’d been on that train, they would have been carrying a few of them off in bags. Hopefully, MARTA will put patrols on those routes at night, as even back in the day, they were the most unsafe in the city.

      What does that have to do with it? It’s not even relevant. We all know that blacks make up a much greater percentage of the prison population, but that’s got nothing to do with this story. Anyone that‘s read history should realize that it’s not something genetic in blacks that makes them more likely to be in prison, it’s a result of social programs – especially those signed into law by LBJ, that deserve the bulk of the blame for destroying black families in innercities.       There a gang that operates out of the southwest and northwest corners of Atlanta. Southwest Atlanta might have two white people in it…MIGHT have.

      The Atlanta Airport is south of Atlanta and west of I-75. West End used to be a quiet white neighborhood, but that’s no longer true. My late in-laws used to live in West End, on Atwood Street. Very old homes, tree-lined streets. Probably no whites there now, either.

      More than likely, pretty sure, demographics of area, must be, could be, yup right now we know they were teens. Orange, blue, ultraviolet, technocolored, black, grey, beige , yellow, white, red, we don’t know.
      I know I might have seemed racist in my “panthers” comments, but when any group regardless of color threatens to kill my babies, I take that very seriously. And GOD forgive me, but peace with the “panthers” or a like group is beyond my abilities at this time, check back with me in a few days.

      Actually it is surprising there wasn’t anyone on the train carrying for Georgia is a carry state. The likelihood of needing this on a train is very high. The Delta crew would not be carrying for obvious reasons and were easy targets.

      Being able to recognize a patern in the types of crimes and what race is commiting those crimes isn’t racist.

      As someone who is from the area, still not sure why it matters what their race was. The crime was committed by criminals and thats all that’s relavent. I‘m as conservative as they come but that doesn’t make me a racist.       I live in Atlanta and take the train to and from the airport regulary. IN THE DAYTIME. Once you are south of Midtown, you might as well be in Somalia. Friggin animals, thugs, druggies sleeping on the train, everybody in a “hoody”, cell phones ringing, stolen IPods rappin away. Animals I tell you. But then again I heard for the first time back in the early ‘80’s that MARTA was an acronym for; “Moving Africans Rapidly Through Atlanta”. No wonder neighboring North West suburbs want no part of MARTA coming to their towns. Also, would kill MARTA to have a cop or two on the occasional bloody train. When I come home after 7 PM…………….it’s taxi time from the airport. At least the muslim dude driving the cab is alone and typically polite. Animals. Just that simple…..and they get to vote for God’s sake.

      This is why I have a liscense to conceal a weapon, yet still choose to drive alone in my big diesel Ford F-250 Heavy Duty truck past the MARTA stations. Atlanta is more violent than New York. I will ride and have ridden the sub in NYC and feel safer than the jungles of Atlanta…you are indeed prey in a cage.

      I’m a firm believer in Diversity and Multiculturalism. It’s what made America the greatest Nation on the planet. A source of strength it is. We grow stronger by the day as a result of Diversity. Our politics are stronger and so too is our Unity and if you don‘t believe me just as the two British tourists who were dropped off in a FL ghetto over the weekend how much they appreciate America’s Multiculturalism.. Or the 23 year old female from Connecticut that well how should we say it “lost her head the weekend before last” as a result of her firm commitment to Diversity. Oh yes indeed these fine institutional pillars are what makes America great.. We are the greatest and without them then we’d not be so great?

      Sinista Mace may get his wishes.. In Europe they have stopped posting any photos of the criminals. Now the US is beginning to censor the criminal’s identity more frequently as well unless they are white. I applaud the Blaze for even running this story simply because it is absolutely necessary to inform our women and children of the jungle like environment which they will face in larger cities.

      I don’t know what “wishes” you are referring to, I haven’t made any “wishes”.

      I applaud the Blaze for running the story showing how the Police Officer beat up an innocent bystander standing by the road. Funny, I didn’t hear any comments about “I wonder what color the cop was beating the innocent bystander by the road” or anything like that. The victim happened to be black and the cops happened to be white. I could easily make an argument showing how it is a “jungle environment” when dealing with police in urban environments.

      I don’t think you can handle the struth, son, try watching the WHITE KIDS beat up homeless people with baseball bats and tasers ( I wonder where they learned THAT from), and try watching the execution of Oscar Grant at the hands of overzealous police officers.

      Actually the S.W,side is mixed race,I know this because I lived there for 43 years,and still have friends in the area.I grew up in East Point,and the area has been kind’a wild ever since my youth.
      The S.W.side also happens to have some of the most affluent predominantly black neighborhoods in the nation-College educated professionals trying to raise families.
      Any time you reach a conclusion about a person based on some group you recognize them to be a part of,you are being human.We reach these judgments based on our experiences over the years,or by the influence of others.
      However,it’s not the good example of any group that one remembers-it’s the ***hole.This goes for any group,whether it’s a racial group,professional,political,or even a sport.
      So if you would like to identify yourself as a conservative-do the rest of us a favor and don’t be an ***hole.The rest of us may not want to be painted with the same brush.
