Nashville police say they have finally managed to identify and arrest a serial burglar stalking the streets…a 14-year-old boy in a go-kart, apparently.

The Daily Mail elaborates:

According to authorities, the suspect, whose name is not being released because he is a minor, broke into anywhere between 50 and 100 homes in northern Nashville over the past two years.

They say the 14-year-old was also suspected in multiple cases of vandalism and theft in the Hope Gardens, Buena Vista and Salemtown neighborhoods.

According to the TV station WKRN, the suspected teen bandit was arrested on Friday morning after a neighbor reported seeing him sneaking around a back alley. Police found a kitchen knife and a pair of gloves in his possession.

Police said the teen would scope out a house to target, kick in the back door, rush inside and steal video games, flat-screen TVs and whatever else he could lay his hands on.

‘He’s tested the waters and tested our resources, definitely,’ Metro Police Lieutenant Horace Temple told the TV station WSMV.

The youth is described an orphan in need of someone to look up to.

Temple explained: “The child didn’t have a mentor or any kind of guidance in his life, and it kind of led to the life of crime on the streets.”

But now, the boy faces a slew of serious charges including aggravated burglary, burglary, theft and possession of burglary tools.

“We work too hard for what we have, and then for someone to take it or destroy it from you, I mean, that’s not right,” a neighbor remarked.

    Tragic story of an orphan gone bad….never in a million years would I think a 14 year old would do something so horrible and destructive. I’m sure it has nothing to do with the state our socialist country is living in , or the fact that the moral fiber of our nation is wearing thin, or that because there is so much crap on TV that teaches children they can have whatever they want without repercussions. I don‘t know maybe I’ve gone to far out on that limb.

    Many kids have no one to look up to in this sad day and age. To many homes are broken up and too many children don’t really know their father. Most of those kids do not burglarize homes. If the kid was an orphan…where did he get the go-kart…???? Did he steal that too? Throw his butt into juv-ie jail and then…when he gets old enough,….to real jail.

      Its been my observation you could give them the criminal with gold plated handcuffs so to speak and they they will continue to investigate harrass and stalk you the victim.In fact its been so much to some victims they can’t tell the difference between the criminal terrorist and our own lovely authorities.

    Their ringleader, and there are numerous gangs of these ne’er-do-wells, is none other than Bubbles, profiled numerous times on the reality TV show, “The Trailer Park Boys.”

    Maybe Trayvonn wasn’t so innocent, If this kid can rob 100 homes, next step up is to hurt someone when caught in the act.

    bet this neighbor , if voted for dems, isnt bright enough to see the hypocrisy when it comes to taking other peoples money through unfair taxes though

    ( not saying she is or does, but it would be nice if we could know the political leanings of people ……..just think of the correlations you could run

    you could see if most inmates are dems ( they are )

    you could see if those dumb people walking into things while texting are dems ( id eat my hat if they werent)

    and those that think killing a convicted murderer is horrible, but will completely go ape shyt if you say anything bad about abortion ( yes, these too are dems )
