Police Question Army Vet for Anti-Obama Message on Truck: ‘Obama FUK Off’ (He Says It’s Not a Typo)

Army Vet Dennis Hamm Questioned by Police for Fuk Obama Message on Truck in Wisconsin

Dennis Hamm (Source: The Smoking Gun)

Police in Wisconsin questioned a U.S. Army veteran who had the words “Obama Fuk Off” painted on the tailgate of his Chevy pick-up truck in large white letters. Police say dispatchers received a complaint from a resident that the message was too profane for “kids in the area,” the Smoking Gun reports.

Dennis Hamm, 55, was contacted by deputies with the Racine County Sheriff’s Department after the anti-Obama message was first seen on his truck last week. Hamm reportedly told the deputies that he did not care how people felt about his anti-Obama ad on wheels.

Hamm also argued that he didn’t misspell the f-word on his vehicle with “Fuk.” He says F-U-K actually is an acronym for “Fundamentally Useless Kenyan,” referring to President Obama.

The Smoking Gun reports that the sheriff’s report is being forwarded for review by the village attorney in Union Grove, where Hamm’s truck was spotted outside his Wisconsin home.

Hamm’s Facebook page indicates that he served in the U.S. Army from 1973-1976. He goes by the nickname “Wild Boar” and describes himself as “Still fighting for the freedoms I served to protect. Carry a weapon as a means to convince those who have a distorted view of ‘Free Enterprise’ that things must be earned, not taken.”

Hamm’s Facebook “favorites” include pages for Fox News Channel, GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), Gov. Scott Walker, Beretta USA and Electric Light Orchestra.

Here’s a photo of his truck:

Why did the police question him about it? It was in no way, shape or form threatening the President. It was complete and full-on political speech, protected by the 1st Amendment. The police that questioned the man need to be sent to remedial U.S. Constitution classes and pass an examination on the materials 100 percent before they are ever allowed to be police officers again.

I’m a recently retired police officer (32 years) and if my dispatcher Bolo’d this information about this vehicle, I would be asking myself “”why in the hell it was this even sent out!” I respect the 1st admendment and I, nor any other police officer, would have probable cause to stop this vhicle and ask the driver any questions! Unfortunately some police officers feel like they have to “act” on the “Bolo’d” information even if they don’t have probable cause to make a traffic contact.

A real man does not put something like that on the back of his vehicle, where women and kids will see it. I dislike our current president, and am all for open debate, stating the facts, and voting. All that being said, he is still the elected president, and there is a certain amount of respect due the position. This man is an idiot.

I’m far from an Obama fan, but I agree that it is offensive to children. I also think other items people have on their vehicles and shirts in public should be not tolerated as well. Now, while I am all for free speech, that freedom ends where it can negatively affect someone else.

Yes, I know kids will hear far worse than this yadda yadda yadda … that doesn’t make it right. Let’s let kids be kids and not have to put up with the adult hatred we have devolved into.

Haven’t you heard of the “Bush Syndrome?” 12 years ago Liberals went absolutely raving nuts that their former golden child Gore lost the election and completely lost their minds. Just like the a good case of soap opera amnesia, as soon as Bush left, their memory blanked and they totally forgot everything they had done for the last 8 years. That’s why whenever you say “Well you did the exact same thing or worse to President Bush,” they just stare at you with that really confused look.

Unfortunately, the “Bush Syndrome” was just the tip of the iceberg, the Liberals are fully infected with the “Obala Virus.” They are still doing research, but apparently it causes lunatic rantings at any criticism of the President, and cult like activity regarding him.

If you find yourself or one of you family members getting “Thrills up your leg” when you hear President Obama, you have probably been infected. If that happens, STAY AWAY FROM YOUR FAMILY!!! RUN! PANIC!! Above all else, KEEP AWAY FROM THE VOTING BOOTH!

COPATRIOTS, I saw Bob Seger in Orlando Stadium back in early August, 77. He was supposed to be one of the warm up bands for Fleetwood Mac. But there was so much rain in the forecast and it did pour on us, that FM went ahead and played right after Kenny Loggins. As Fleetwood Mac finished, the sky just opened up and was as clear as could be with plenty of stars shining bright. Small aircraft were flying over with lit banners and Bob Seger just stole the entire show.
Plenty of Skynard in my collection too, and Sweet Home Alabama is my ring tone. That Iron Butterfly was I believe the first album that I bought in ‘67. Gotta toss Humble Pie in there too. And, something on the funny side, this is the first song that I heard on WUSF (University of South Florida) when I moved to Tampa back in ‘73.
