It’ unclear at this hour how many will turn out for the “Days of Rage” protests targeting large banks and the capitalist system.

Left activists have been gathering at meet up points in Manhattan this morning.  The Blaze and GBTV have crews covering the events various angles.

A midday rally is scheduled for 12:30 at Bowling Green Park before the more serious focus turns to the Chase bank plaza at 3pm.

There is an affiliation of group participating.  And there are events planned around the world for the day.

There is a Livestream channel called Global Revolution that plans to broadcast from various global spots including the Manhattan event.  It has been alternating between live and recorded segments thus far.  They are also alternating between live feeds from NYC and the other global demonstrations depending on which feed is working.  We’ll be posting some “on-demand” highlights very soon.

So far Michelle Malkin isn’t too impressed with the protesters:

What do they want? They’re not really sure.

When do they want it? For a couple of months, or until the weather gets too cold, anyway.

A bunch of adrift Alinskyites and disorganized organizers from a group called “Adbusters” are converging in New York City for some reason or other. They’re bringing tents, sleeping bags, yoga instructors, face paint — and at some point, they’ll get around to deciding what their “one demand” is.

Malkin’s best idea?  She notes that the group is demanding that Barack Obama “capitulate:“ ”Hey, someone notify Attttaaaaack Waaaaaatch!”

      Actually about 1 in 5 would spout some sophomoric slogan regarding socialism & get the quoted slogan wrong . The rest of the protestors will spout incoherent gibberish about how the rich need to pay their fair share but they can’t give a percent of income that is the fair share . followed by more incoherent nonsense on a variety of issues that the left gets worked up over yet can’t seem to get their ideas across in the form of a complete sentence.

      Wow. I feel like I am watching “Atlas Shrugged” play out live before my eyes, as these Socialist/Communist hippies try to destroy everything that Man has built.

      It reminds me of a co-worker of mine who told me that even if it meant he would lose his job, he would prefer that over his boss not paying his “fair share”. I explained to him that our CEO pays more in taxes than his and my salary combined times ten, and he still was adamant that he would rather be part of the next layoff than have our CEO not have his taxes raised.

      Anybody that is watching the live feed like I am may notice something unusual. I have seen hundreds of young college age kids that look well to do. The girls are for the most part rather plain with exploding frizzy hair. The guys are all carrying the latest in electronics and technology. Do you know what the young black men are doing?? Nothing..because there aren’t any black gentlemen there. It is plain to me that this group is anti-black. Probably the upper class KKK.
      Seriously…the guys have no freakin idea why they are there. De Javu- back to the to the 60′s.
      If they stay a few days, they will look just like any other homeless guy.

      I have been watching the live feed all day and was surprised when I saw that some adults had brought kids. They have people in the group of protesters that are trying to encourage violence and people bring their kids. More proof as to how STUPID these people are.
      Pray that it ends this weekend cause if this drags out into Monday trouble will mount and people will be having heads caved-in. Good for the medical biz, not so good for the heads.

The fact that he felt compelled to use the wording of my post and place his own targets into it demonstrated to me that I hit a nerve. Rathke likes to remain in the shadows to do his evil work. Well i got news for you, since you guys throw those terms around so much they have no real meaning.

      If you were to actually post a response that supported your arguments as to why LIBERALISM is right for AMERICA then they would have posted it. But that is impossible because it is such a failed ideology that no person could make a logical argument for it. Would love to hear your talking points tho. Feel free to post.     Here comes the rent-a-mob. The same cast of misfits and communist/demo sympathizers that show up for every protest, no matter what it is. They just change their signs. Most are a bunch of communist who protest anything about the US or capitalism. The main problem here is that they have not been dealt with harshly enough. They need to be put in pain and then put in jail for a long time. They would hesitate to demostrate over bullcrap…the next time.

      @ jessieH, Um…….. The Constitution doesn’t say that people need permits to protest. Let them protest, but if they get in the way of others’ freedoms (like right to travel), then, ask them to move their protest elsewhere. If they refuse, then you can arrest them, lawfully.
