Let me see —– a man. his wife and their dog were living in the house for at least a year with no problem but the bomb squad can’t go in because it is too dangerous………… Something not adding up here.

They took out atleast 70 lbs of stuff… I‘m sure they’ll put him away for life. And slap him with a bill for environmental damage.

      His Christmas is gonna suck.

I watched this on TV today between FOX & CNN. The firefighters in that area are well prepared & trained for fires of every type. It was a controlled burn with no wind (atmospheric conditions were right) EPA was there to take constant readings for hazardous chemicals in several locations. The homes around the area were behind a safe wall & treated with a fire retardant chemical. The burn was hot enough to destroy any gasses & chemicals (per a friend who is a chemical weapons expert). The man who lived in this condemned home (with his wife & dog) was out of work for 2 or 3 years… robbed a few banks…had several rubber facial masks & weapons… There were so many different explosives everywhere inside that it wasn’t safe for the bomb squad to continue to try to remove evidence. They were able to remove, I believe, 70 lbs of explosives before pulling out. The criminal wanted the judge to send the bomb squad back into the home a few days ago to get evidence for his defense. The judge refused, saying it was too dangerous for the men & neighborhood. I still wonder about the ashes that were spreading to the east. What was in them & where will they all end up?

If you’re able, maybe you could join a local volunteer fire department, and the mystery of fire won’t perplex you so much….

Holy Crap…..way too many cat pictures being used for profile pictures.

The firemen did an excellent job and made the right decision. They protected the houses around it, and there was plenty of backup if something went wrong. Environmentalists were there to ensure that all went according to plan. How many agencies did they say were there? Can’t remember, but there were A LOT!

Better to burn the sucker down than to risk having the entire neighborhood be blown up.

We here in the vol. fireservice have to remove all the shingles, tar paper and anything else that may be toxic before a live burn. Guess that doesn’t apply to the feds.

They reported they had to burn because it was too dangerous to go through everything while being in there. Well, then they don’t know what exactly they were burning. What chemicals were let loose in the air that floated and people are breathing? How did they know there wasn’t something like an an thrax burning in there? or what these chemicals would do to someone breathing the air to where ever it drifted?

I will tell you what CA will always find the most expensive way to do something.
16′ fence all around the home
    close the freeway
have around 300 public union member’s on the seen

    state 150 billion in debt

    Just priceless

So it was ok to burn the house and release hazardous gases and chemicals into the air to deposit on the surroundings? Hmm, so if I lived there and my pet dog happened to lick where the residues from the chemicals deposited, what would happen to him. How about my garden where I grew vegetables for my family to eat. This is realy questionable in a state where you can’t burn simple trash. I wonder what the real motive was?

The ignorant reporter woman said that they had hoped the “grenades” would implode instead of explode like they are meant to. Since when does any type of explosive device that is thrown into a fire not do what it is supposed to unless it is a plastic explosive like c-4 that takes heat and pressure to set it off?

The question should be why the house was full of explosives – the whole story doesn’t make sense to me. Isn’t it more dangerous to burn up a house full of explosives? Its everything in that house evidence? Something is really wrong here? http://maboulette.wordpress.com

We had this same thing in Cleveland. The explosives are so volatile they can explode if you move them so its safer to burn it.

You are all very brave with someone else’s life. Hey…. you can bring your children with you and show them how brillant you are, well at least until the one and only big boom. You should be all be Dummocrat politicians.
