Politico: Biden Likens Tea Party Republicans to ‘Terrorists’

Sources inside a closed-door meeting of Senate Democrats today said Vice President Joe Biden participated in a bit of name-calling. But not just any name-calling. No, those sources tell Politico that Biden likened Tea Party Republicans to “terrorists.”

“We have negotiated with terrorists,” angry Rep. Mike Doyle, a Democrat from PA, said, according to sources who were in the room. “This small group of terrorists have made it impossible to spend any money.”

Biden agreed:

Biden, driven by his Democratic allies’ misgivings about the debt-limit deal, responded: “They have acted like terrorists,” according to several sources in the room.

Biden’s office refused to comment to Politico about what was said, citing that the meeting took place in a closed-door session.

The rhetoric wouldn’t be odd for the fiery former Senator from Delaware. As Politico notes, earlier in the day he told Senate Democrats that Republican leaders have “guns to their heads” in trying to negotiate deals.

The comments come as both sides of the aisle are upset about the proposed deal between Republican and Democratic leaders in both the House and Senate, and Biden was dispatched to try and rally support.

Glenn Beck expressed his concern in an op-ed on The Blaze today, while Dem. Rep. Emanuel Cleaver called the plan a “Satan sandwich.”

      Hey Sammy, your right on but here‘s a thought that I haven’t heard anything about or anyone paying attention and the solution to this obamination problem, obama is in violation of his oath of office, add to that he is the self proclaimed “Domestic Enemy #1 of the Constitution” (see many of his own speeches in his own words) which is a matter for the sworn people, past and present of the US Military to handle as its the first duty in their Oath of enlistment to handle. Also, since no one is paying attention, obama as Commander n Chief is also in violation of the UCMJ. in the least Articles 99, 104 and 134. come on America and the US Military WAKE UP!! The Founding Fathers Wrote the Constitution for a reason and the Oaths of Office have meaning and extreme duty to be followed.

      It’s actually gone beyond that point now. Now Congress doesn’t even need to bribe the public with our own money. They steal it right in front of our eyes because a large portion (not the majority, but the vocal communists) of the American public have no idea what liberty means.       Today on “The Five”, the fat suspendered eighties reject guy said “Tea Terrorists” like 75 times. Yeh, yeh, we get it, you’re on the liberal meme list. What a popular guy, he’s finally part of a group. He’s no longer that fat miserable kid with the perpetual wedgie in high school.
      The problem with the liberal meme list, or Journo-List, or whatever they call it today, is that all that read it JUMP on the talking points all at once, like 6th graders with the latest sitcom catchphrase.
      They all say the same things, sound alike, move alike, and it’s hard to take any of them seriously, since they are in ant mode, all bodies are synced as one mouthy little being.
      I have to hear a hundred people a day barge up to me, breathless and excited about the latest talking point, as if they thought about it all by themselves, not realizing I’d heard the same exact things 99 times before they raced up to me.
