‘Politics Over Public Safety’: Holder Blames Bush and Attacks Issa in Reaction to Contempt Charges

Eric Holder has not had a good day, and judging by his public reaction to Congress’ vote to hold him in criminal contempt, it shows. In a brusque 2 minute statement, Holder goes for every charge he can think of, accusing Congress of putting “politics over public safety” out of a cynical desire to create a scandal during an election year, all while talking up his own record of leadership in trying to decipher the problems behind Operation Fast and Furious.
“Instead of trying to correct the problems that led to a series of law enforcement operations, and instead of helping us find ways to better protect the brave law enforcement agents, like agent Brian Terry, who keep us safe, they have led us to this unnecessary and unwarranted outcome,” Holder snaps. “When concerns about operation Fast and Furious first came to light, I took action and ordered an independent investigation into what happened. We learned that the flawed tactics used in this operation began in a previous administration, but I made sure that they ended in this one.”
That’s right, it‘s still Bush’s fault. Watch Holder’s statement below:

Wide receiver pieces were tracked, while Fast & Furious pieces were not. Wide receiver ende in 2007, because the cartels got wise to the tracking devices. WH press scretary and AG Holder are lying, or Rush Linbaugh is. Watergate took eight months, based on Obama‘s executive privilege that was reminiscent of Nixon’s on July 7, 1973. Then it should take about a year to play out.

It astounds me this administration and the MSM will not tell the truth about the differnces and the totally different operations that these were. I do recall how O’bama, H Clnton and Pres Caldarone were al bitching about the “guns from the US”, which turn out this administration was fully responsible for. Posted on June 29, 2012 at 6:24amIf Epic Holdup is interested in Public Safety and Justice, why does he refuse to enforce laws passed by congress. I believe his job is to encforce all laws not just the ones he and Sweet Old Barack like.
They will not protect the border, they will not deport UDAs they will not prosecute any minority crime against a white. The DOJ and IRS selectively enforce tax laws (Maxine Waters, Charlie Rangel amd Reverend Al come to mind) but go after the guy who made a $100.00 mistake on his return.
When Epic starts doing his job, rather than campaigning for his boss, and enforces the law maybe I could feel some sympathy for him (sure I would).
It is necessary to take back the White House and change administrations.
