The entrance of the United States into conflict should there be a war between Iran and Israel, or if Iran continues to seek nuclear weapons, is a growing concern for many American voters going into this year’s elections.
A Pew Research Center poll released Wednesday found that nearly six-in-ten (58 percent) of those surveyed say it is important to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons, even if it means taking military action. Only 30 percent say it is important to avoid a military conflict with Iran, even if it allows the country to develop nuclear weapons. A little more than half of Americans (51 percent) say the United States should remain neutral if Israel takes action to stop Iran’s nuclear program, but far more say the U.S. should support (39 percent) than oppose (5 percent) an Israeli attack.
The study finds that Republicans are far more supportive of using military force to stop Iranian nuclear proliferation, and a majority (62 percent) of Republicans say they would support an Israeli attack to stop Iran. Only 33 percent of Democrats surveyed said they would support Israel if they attempt to use force to stop Iran.

The national survey was conducted between February 8-12, 2012, among 1,501 adults.

Posted on February 15, 2012 at 10:45pmIsrael should have 100 % of the United States support. Anything less is just wrong. Iran is a country being run by thugs and terrorists who only know hate. God bless the people of Israel and God’s wrath will be on those who would want to do her harm. Obama is so stinking weak, gutless and out of touch, he is not a friend to Israel. He must be voted out. We must have someone in office that understands the importance of Israel to America and the World. But in the end God wins.

We can’t fight it also because there is no longer any right or wrongs in the world. We still sit idly by and watch genocide and then after its all over round up the people involved to prosecute them at the Hague. But we do nothing to actually fight evil but only will put a chalk outline around the bodies after the fact, treat it like a law enforcement issue and move on…while evil grows we grow weaker.

Posted on February 15, 2012 at 10:14pmTo all those who say America can’t afford another war, guess what. Israel can barely afford to fight one at a time. When Israel goes to war on a full scale and the reserves are called up, most of the population gets mobilized (military service is mandatory with certain exemptions) and the country practically shuts down. You don‘t go to war because it’s convenient, you go to war because you have to and because the cost of going is less than the cost of doing nothing.
On a side note, supporting Israel doesn’t mean putting troops on the ground unnecessarily. Support can also be sending food and money privately, offering humanitarian aid, or offering to sell Israel weapons. Support comes in many forms. Support could also mean making sure Russia doesn’t stop Israel from doing what needs to be done.

You’ll notice I did say private donations. Ordinary people can be just as helpful. I still say that America should do everything within its power to ensure Russia doesn’t get involved. This shouldn’t require going to war and might even be possible to do through diplomatic channels.

If Israel attacks Iran then that’s their choice. If war breaks out then we damn well better step up to help them. If you don’t like that then feel free to pack up your stuff and move to Egypt, Syria or Iran where I am sure you will be welcomed with open arms as they walk you around back of the airport terminal where they have dug a nice little pit about shoulder deep. Once they drop you in that pit and start throwing stones at you then just maybe you will realize that they don’t like you.

Report Post »Boycott the Media Let the People Decide

Therefore promoting the Bush Foreign policy (as the topic of this thread states the GOP does) makes you a Neo-con.

Now some two bit tyrant can’t even put down a rebellion some remote corner of the Globe without some Neo-Con DC bureaucrat angling for a manner in which they could somehow project American forces right dab in the middle of the conflict and if it’s difficult then they bring out FOX, CNN, MSNBC and the rest of their Media to prepare the people of why Tyrant X must be eliminated immediately.
No you are wrong Crow. Only in the twisted demented minds of Neo-Cons like Hannity, Beck , Rove, Limbaugh, Krystal, Orielly, Kraughthammer, and the typical Blaze reader can one justify ******* away nearly 4 trillion dollars over the past decade along with the loss or injury of 10s of thousands of our GIs, and 100s of thousands of Arabs in the pursuit of some asinine “War on Terror” while justifying it by wrapping oneself in a flag screaming I’m patriotic look look at me..
A true Conservative is always conservative whether socially or fiscally. I don’t many reasonable people would really care to justify the spending of 4 trillion dollars on a War in which we don’t have a damn thing to show for!
