Pop Sensation Justin Bieber Declares He’s Pro-Life…but Not Crazy About U.S. Health Care

Politics isn’t really an area of expertise wispy-haired wonder-teen Justin Bieber is known for, but the Canadian-born pop music sensation recently fielded some questions from Rolling Stone magazine which asked him to weigh in on American politics.
After delivering an elementary explanation of why he prefers Canada‘s health care system to America’s — “You guys are evil!” — Bieber said he‘s not sure whether he’d be a Republican or Democrat, but noted that “whatever they have in Korea, that’s bad.”
He does seem to have a solid opinion when it comes to abortion, however. “I really don’t believe in abortion,” Bieber said. “It’s like killing a baby?”
When Rolling Stone pressed him about how to handle cases of pregnancies resulting from rape, Bieber admitted while the situation would be “really sad,” he doesn’t see that as a reasonable excuse to have an abortion. “Everything happens for a reason,” he said. “I don’t know how that would be a reason. I guess I haven’t been in that position, so I wouldn’t be able to judge that.”

Abortion… one heart stops, one heart breaks…

Posted on February 17, 2011 at 8:06amRemember how Obama recently gave a speech praising “youth” and saying “youth” would bring change? We don’t see news anymore, we see orchestrated theater. Justin appears on the surface to be a Conservative, a darling role model for little girls and boys. He seems safe. Let’s embrace him. And, little by little, just like the Pied Piper, could he be a plant to train children in the path of revolution against the USA? Look how the unions are using kids in Wisconsin. Parents – stop allowing your kids to get so wrapped up in false Gods. One God, One Family, One Country.

Posted on February 17, 2011 at 3:32amLove ya CHEEZWHIZ! I do repect him for standing up against abortion. As far as healthcare goes, he is young and fortunately in good health. I bet that if he were to develope any serious health problems that he would seek treatment here rather than in Canada. Kudos for having the guts to speak out.

Posted on February 17, 2011 at 8:40amYou are probably referring to Shona Holmes. She had Rathke’s Cleft Cyst. This is not a tumor. Nor is it life threatening. The Mayo Clinic, where she received treatment has confirmed this. Did she fall through the cracks in the Canadian Health System? Yes. An isolated incident. The Canadian health care system isn’t perfect, but it’s very, very good. Shona Holmes became the darling of Fox News while they tried to (successfully) cast fear of the evils of universal health care. Once the true story came out, Fox News has never mentioned her again. If you weren’t referring to Shona Holmes, and you were just talking verbal diarreah, my apologies. I hope that you have a good health insurance plan that is at least half as good as what you get in Canada.

Posted on February 16, 2011 at 11:11pmI don’t care. His beliefs about abortion are far more important and influential with his fans than his beliefs about healthcrae. Abortion is a primary moral issue. Healthcare is a political and economic issue. How many kids his age understand either politics or economics? I know I didn’t. But I was very pro-life. Still am, of course.

Posted on February 16, 2011 at 10:46pmArchon is a Greek word that means “ruler” or “lord”, frequently used as the title of a specific public office. It is the masculine present participle of the verb stem ἀρχ-, meaning “to rule”, derived from the same root as monarch, hierarchy and anarchy
The term Reich was part of the German names for Germany for much of its history. Reich was used by itself in the common German variant of the Holy Roman Empire, (Heiliges Römisches Reich (HRR)). Der rîche was a title for the Emperor. However, Latin, not German, was the formal legal language of the medieval Empire (Imperium Romanum Sacrum), so English-speaking historians are more likely to use Latin imperium than German Reich as a term for this period of German history
is anyone else getting this?

Posted on February 17, 2011 at 7:40amNeither Korea is something to emulate. The North is of course far, far, far worse, but South Korea is dominated by socialist politics as well.
Bieber is young and not particularly attuned to politics. A stand on abortion is a moral stand first before it becomes a political one later. This seems logical to me then that he’d be against abortion but have no clue what “health care” was about, or not about.

The fact that he is “pro-life” defies Hollywood in itself, and as for healthcare, I’m sure he is clueless. At that age he is probably healthy and hasn’t had need for serious care. Someone in his family will need good care and then we’ll see if he chooses Canada or the US (of course if Obamacare kicks in it won’t make any difference)>
