Possessed TX Voting Machine Only Allows Votes for Green Party

Don Relyea supports incumbent Republican Rick Perry for governor in TX. Naturally, he went to the polls to cast his vote. But while in the privacy of his voting booth, he noticed something very strange: as he tried to submit his ballot, it changed. Again. And again. The electronic voting machine he was using kept switching his votes to Green Party candidates, and he caught it on tape:

(H/T: Gawker, via Reddit)

Your eyes aren’t fooling you: every time Relyea pushes the “Rick Perry” button, the vote changes to Deb Shafto — the Green Party’s candidate — and also the Green Party candidates for all the other offices.

According to Gawker, Relyea wasn’t the only one having trouble. Apparently someone else was having the same problem — when he went to vote for Democrat Bill White, his vote kept switching to Rick Perry:

I had the same problem with a voting machine in Collin County, still right outside of Dallas. It was Diebold, and very different from the one in this video.

Another difference was that mine took some convincing to let me vote for Bill White. Every time I would press it, it would select Bill White for a second, then switch to Rick Perry. I eventually did it enough times that it stuck.

Well, at least I hope it stuck. There’s really no way of knowing how it recorded the vote, is there?

Reylea was eventually placed at another polling machine after raising “a stink.” No priests have been called to attend to the machines — that we know of.

I do not have a problem with electronic voting on its face. But the software algorithms must be open source and fully disclosed at each step of the process. From the votes to the tally. And the subsequent logs made public.

Computerized voting machines are a huge mistake. We’ve made an issue of that on the left for years now. I’m glad you guys can agree.

We got one of those machines where I vote. At the end of the voting process it allows you to review the vote and make changes. When you are finished it prints out a paper copy which can be examined and viewed as well. If I am not mistaken it is the paper copy that is counted and tabulated. I assume that it is not done by hand (which is subject to fraud and mistakes) but by machine (which is also subject to fraud and mistakes) But, nothing is perfect.

Bottom line here is this: It is up to the voter to make sure that the ballot properly filled out be he or she submits it either by paper or the submit button. Many of the people of Broward County in Florida in 2000 with their hanging chads were too stupid to vote. Many of them were voting for the first time and driven to the polls by ACCORN.

No system of voting is perfect.

The problem with elections is they are subjective, depending on who is counting. All elections should be done on April 15th as part of the tax return. Don’t pay taxes, don’t vote. Dead people don’t pay taxes and they still vote.

At least the machines weren’t wearing “guerilla garb” and wielding sticks to try to threaten voters into voting for a particular candidate. Of course, if they had been our DOJ wouldn’t have prosecuted for fear of “rise of the machine”!!

In some cities surrounding Dallas, Stephen Broden’s name does not appear on the ballot, only the honest and wonderful Eddie Bernice Johnson. That I know of, they are not correcting this. Also, many people have not been allowed to vote due to the fact that they were wearing a Gadsen flag pin. they were told to remove the pin or else they could not vote. Thanks to so many citizens protesting, I believe they are sending out new info that people wearing this pin are allowed to vote and do not violate any laws. Was any action taken when Mochelle went to vote and was talking with someone inside the voting area? I think not…

I know there is going to be a lot of eye-rolling, but I’m going to say it anyway. We would be better off using a pencil and paper, being fingerprinted and counting votes manually. The electronic voting machines are so easy to program for fraud that you wouldn’t believe it even if you saw it. And anyone who doesn’t believe that the demolibersocialcommies intend to rig this election like the one which elected obama is….well I‘m not going to put into print my evaluation of those individual’s intelligence.

I think we will be seeing alot of this during this election. The election process has become so corrupt that really it can’t be trusted.
I knew that those with special interests would not allow things to change. We the people are in grave danger as we have been lowered to a status LESS that needed.
But we should not Give Up – or Give In ! We must fight the progressive movement. We can not allow them to gain control of what is left of our freedoms, and if it takes enacting our right to bear arms — WELL THE TREE OF LIBERTY JUST MIGHT NEED SOME WATER

No not demonic possession, I have seen and dealt with those matters before by the Almighty help in the events.

Either is a mechanical problem, computer glitch, or someone is deliberately making sure we will wind up with another court challenge and controversy such as the ‘hanging chads’ once again. If this is what is happening with them – and we have already seen they are able to be hacked into according to a report not long ago – who most likely will say the records need to be changed or deleted when they lose this november?

Faulty voting station systems and problems with mail in ballots…coincidence or is the next set of rumblings in the storm about to hit us.

Yes I understand – we have now problems with the machines that can also be hacked, mail in votes that may not count due to not being sent out in time; and if a Federal judge declares the mail in or machine taken votes null and void due to ‘technical irregularities’ or such nonsense, then guess who is still in power…Progressive Pelosi and the administriation fanatics.

Anyone think this is why she has grown so confident lately? I hope it is she is just in a total state of denial…we need to be prepared though.

Ah the brave new world of never again knowing how your vote was actually recorded. I mean, if you were using a simple (and cheap) paper ballot, you know exactly how it was recorded. Pay no attention to the flashing ballot screen, the great wizard of Oz knows what candidate is best for you. Oz knows you came into the voting booth like a cowardly lion, and now you have the green party badge of courage… not go fourth and act like the hero you are.

Keep in mind that many of these electronic voting machines are manufactured in Venezuela by companies controlled by Obama’s buddy, Hugo Chavez. In 2006, exit polls showed Chavez had lost with only 41% of the vote, but when the electronic machines tallied the votes he won with 58% of the vote.

A timely quote from the darling of the left Thomas Jefferson:

“God forbid we should ever be twenty years with out rebellion. The people cannot be all, and always informed. The part which is wrong will be disconnected, in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunners of death of the public liberty…and what nation can preserve its liberties, if it’s rulers are not warned from time to time , that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What shall signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.”

The democrat party has become the tyrants-

I‘m afraid you’re correct. Here in the Great Northwet, voter fraud has been rampant for some time. How many candidates do you know of that can be confirmed, had the vote counted again…still confirmed…had one county keep “finding votes” NINE DIFFERENT TIMES, while disqualifying a large part of the military vote, and had the OTHER candidate declared the winner…after which it was discovered several hundred fellons and deceased people voted? The last count stood. The TRUE winner was overturned by fraud. That is how we got our current “Ruler”. The left is not concerned with truth. It’s right out of the Sol Olinsky book……win by ANY means.
