President Obama Opened Correspondents’ Dinner With a Toilet Flush…Really

Obama Jokes About Eating Dogs, Romneys Money, and His secret agenda | Obama WHCD Speech

AP

It’s not often that we get to see the most powerful man in the world tell jokes about eating dogs, craving cigarettes and imposing his rumored “radical socialist agenda” on the country. And yet, last night in Washington, D.C., we were treated to just that. Wait, let’s not forget the toilet flush. Did we really need to envision the president sitting on the toilet, seconds before he was to address the White House Press Corps?

(‘If You Don’t Have Any Guns, You Can Ask Eric Holder to Get Some for You’: Jimmy Kimmel’s Full Routine)

Saturday night‘s White House Correspondents’ Dinner was well-attended — most of the familiar faces that endure the daily press briefings and follow the president around the country put on their formal attire and squeezed into a packed Hilton ballroom to watch Barack Obama open the show for Jimmy Kimmel. There were also a healthy number of famous faces from the showbiz world: Big money Obama donors George Clooney and Steven Spielberg were there, along with Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan, and members of the cast of “Glee.”

The Obama portion of the presentation lasted 17:36 and featured the president making jokes on topics like:

  • Where he was born (this one starts at 3:20, and he actually winked after saying, “And I, of course, was born in Hawaii.”)
  • Eating dogs (several jokes on this topic – the biggest flop starts at the 8:35 mark of the video and has almost 30 seconds of uncomfortable reactions)
  • His rumored, radical, second term agenda
  • Mitt Romney’s wealth, two Harvard degrees, and lack of hipness
  • Hillary Clinton’s beer drinking in Colombia (”she won’t stop drunk texting me from Cartagena.”)
  • Celebrity attendees like Kim Kardashian and the cast of Glee

President Obama‘s presentation started with a little sketch that poked fun at his recent ’hot mic‘ episode with Russia’s Dmitry Medvedev by having the audience believe that we were listening to the leader of the free world complaining about having to be at this dinner, while sitting on a toilet. That portion ended with a flush and Obama craving a cigarette.

Here is Obama‘s entire White House Correspondents’ Dinner routine:

There is humor and then there is IN YOUR FACE. I thought this was a FAMILY man from Harvard. The jokes were totally classless. Toilet flushing, dog eating, joking about a DRUNK Seceratary of State, maybe she needs a Chaperone !!! and backroom deals with the Russians is NOT FUNNY but could be seen as CRIMES against the STATE !!! Hum Michael Vick did prison time for dog fighting. My dad is dying from COPD because he was a smoker thirty years ago !!! Yea this man is a real GOOD example for his kids and the country !! Lidnsey LOHAN ?????? My American Flag will be coming down if this FAKE is re-elected !!! TRASH !! TRASH!! TRASH!!! “GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH”

Doesn‘t O’Bummer realize that each joke costs the taxpayer $179,000.00 in Secret Service surveillance fees?

What is even worse is that Speaker Gingrich has such low self esteem that he dragged Calista to this thing – where Catholic-Americans were totally mocked by “the reverend” George Clooney!

The “high five” was a Jiimmy Kimbel doing, not Obama. Jimmy was putting it to his “fifth grade teacher” who said Kimbel would “never amount to anything.” Jimmy then said to the teacher, “Watch me now, I’m about to high-five it withthe President of the United States.” Just a joke, better than some of the other jokes. . .

I can’t stand listening to our current leader, but some of the jokes last night were funning–but then I was watching it because I couldn’t sleep at about midnight. Fell right asleep!

As a disabled Gulf War Vet and past homeless veteran who is struggling to feed himself and his family and keep his electricity on, it’s nice to see we have a president who can make jokes about the number of Harvard degrees he has as well as crack a smile about eating a dog when I have seen my veteran brothers and sisters eat out of dumpsters and beg for change on the side of the road. I myself have slept in a car for a year and spent many a night searching for a warm train station at 4am in December so I wouldn’t freeze to death in Boston. I hope his so called advisors pick another tactic to try to relate to the masses as this one has certainly missed the mark with me and most of my fellow Americans.

There is no more respectable humor, in my mind, than self deprecating humor, and this speech was very funny! I saw comments that it was childish. My response to that would be “grow up.” I hope we can all be ‘childish’ once in a while and, for the President, a speech to the media representatives was definitely the time to be sill.

KUDOS MOM ! This is a COMMIE raised man (Momma and Daddy (who was married to someone else when he married Momma) both Commies; Grand Mother and Daddy Both Commies – went to Commie “church” in Hawaii. Many of us think that Obama‘s emergency trip at the end of OCTOBER 2008 to Hawaii was NOT to see ’dying granny’ but to see Gov. Of Hawaii and top brass to keep any vote from disclosing his “birth records’ did not occur. According to news Obama stayed with Gov. for 3 hours, but visited ‘dying granny’ all of one. By himself. Guess that was to comb through her apt one more time and get rid of all references to him, his birth, her Commie affiliation. Don‘t you think it’s strange that she died shortly there after but this man made no mention of it; didn’t go to funeral; also vacationed earlier in the years blocks from her but kids never saw her? SOOOOOO many secrets.

Nixon and Clinton sullied the Office of President of the United States, one legally and the other morally, whereas Obama has diminished it. With his pettiness, his classlessness, his partisanship and his “coolness,” he has shrunk the respect everyone around the world should have for the office he holds and made a mockery of it. We don’t need a joking, glib hipster in the Oval Office. We need a serious problem solver and leader. Mr. Cool needs to go back to school and learn some more about what it takes to be a real leader. Hopefully, Romney can show him the difference, beginning in January 2013.

And a P.S.: Unlike Obama, who classlessly and cluelessly denigrated Bush and his wife while they sat right there on the platform with him at his inauguration, even after all the help and graciousness they had shown him and his wife in the early and extensive transition team efforts, briefings and moving into the White House, I hope Romney doesn’t insult the Obamas on their way out. I would prefer that he just not even let them share the platform with him at his inauguration — don’t let the door hit your you-know-what on your way out, Barry and Mochelle.

Fast forward to February 2013 after Obama has lost the election. In a last-ditch effort to rescue their miserable ratings, MSNBC hires Barack Obama to host a new comedy/news show called the Imposter Hour.

His first guest, the “Reverend” Al Sharpton, who was canned in order to make room for the new host, will babble on and on demonstrating that he, Al, can barely put two thoughts together in a logical pattern; Chris Matthews will soon follow.

The remainder of the one-season disaster will spin people who continue to pull the wool over America’s eyes saying they “really care” about the middle class. Such people would be the likes of Clooney, Spielberg, Reid, Pelosi, Waters, Rangel, Jackson, Longoria, Hanks, etc.

Regrettably Michele Obama won’t be a guest since she will be too busy flying around the world consuming precious tax dollars with her Secret Service entourage.

Barack Obama may someday come to grips with the title we already know him as–Court Jester; only then he will be Court Jester Emeritus.

Your post reminds me that even if we send him to the humiliating rebuke he deserves in November, we’ll be listening to this clown for the rest of our lives. No doubt one of his sycophant networks will give him a big visibility gig and we’ll never hear the end of him. Worse, the rumors will start that Moochelle will run next! I hope he ends up being the first president to live in exile. God help us.

On the other hand, George Bush showed the upmost class by staying out of the limelight after his post. I still think he was a much finer, far cooler, more human man than the classless, tasteless unfunny Obama

The man (?) is DISGUSTING! What a piece of trash, low-life thug. you are running on empty, faker and it shows loud and clear.

How are people still in denial? If you are one who is, PRAY that GOD will open the eyes of your heart and your mind so you can know HIS TRUTH before it is too late for you. Time, as we know it, is about to enter a speed warp and then you will be lost forever. Forever is a long, long time to live surrounded by evil and darkness, bad smells and Gollum-esque characters, self-aggrandizing souls constantly yapping about how important they are and how ignorant you are.

    WAKE UP, AMERICA!

The country is in the most dire situation in over 80 years and the imbeciles in Washington, both parties and the media have the gaul to crack jokes and laugh at it all?

Americans need to send a strong and clear message in November that we are not happy at all, and joke time is not what we are looking for in our leaders. There needs to be exposure on everyone who attended this farce, showed in their tuxes and gowns partying it up and expose them.

Here is the first clue, it’s not a joke. We as a country are in deep trouble.

I thought his jokes were falling very, very flat with few exceptions and he seemed stiff and sort of snotty. I guess the sycophants loved it but I thought he was not nearly as relaxed and naturally self-deprecating and loose as President Bush used to seem at those things. Somehow the flushing symbolism isn‘t very funny when it’s my country he’s flushing.

95 percent of American women have economic struggles; yet our glorious leader spends Taxed Enough Already money to pay for NEW JOKES, when the public already owns perfectly good jokes purchased during the Bush Administration when they were affordable and appropriate.

I guess our spendthrift and tone deaf Comedian in Chief just felt he was not good enough to pull off the classic and hilarious, “Nope, No W-M-D Here!” routine made famous by the last administration. They use Bush as their reason for failing everywhere else, why not Comedy?
