Posted on December 23, 2011 at 6:31pmNot sure why the Speaker didn’t put a stop to this charade? He should have stuck to his original request to vote for a one year extension. But oh by the way why not a permanent payroll tax cut? I am smart enough to know that if it didn’t go through it would be the dems fault specifically the j ss in the white house. Would it have hurt me and millions of others, yes, but we would have been mad as hornets come Nov and given the j ss in the white house the boot along with reid and pelosi. As it stands more businesses will put on hold their plans to expand, just what the dems wanted to keep the economy underwater.

Posted on December 23, 2011 at 2:28pmGreat, we are trading a short term tax reduction and a $120B loss to social security for a permanent tax increase … oh, sorry it’s only a fee. I hope “*****” is proud of his great service to the country. Is there any type of no confidence vote for the Speakership? I hope Santa leaves him some coal, I’m sure that will make him cry.

Posted on December 23, 2011 at 1:08pmI am very upset with our weak Speaker of The House. They all want to go home for Christmas. Well too bad. They had the votes to stop this 2 month extension but have chosen to ignore it. Instead they (The Republicans) are caving into Obama, again. How in the world can they expect to hold onto the house and gain the Senate and the Presidency with this kind of weakness. I am at my wits end. I hope Newt Gingrich gets the nomination. I know that He is strong minded and willful. Maybe he can manage to put a stop to the weakness of our leadership and give them a little courage to fight for what is right for America..
