Priest Allegedly Suffers Broken Fingers After Being Attacked by a Group of Children

A Chicago-based priest has allegedly suffered broken fingers and minor injuries after being attacked by a group of children earlier this month. According to numerous sources, Rev. Jacek Dada told authorities that he was walking his dog on April 11 when children began to harass the animal.
The situation intensified, the Huffington Post reports, after Dada, the pastor at St. Andrew the Apostle, reprimanded them for their actions. It was then that they purportedly began yelling and throwing rocks at the faith leader. The priest claims that he tried to shield his head as their attack forged on.
Calumet City police are currently investigating the incident, although the priest was unable to identify his attackers after being shown potential images (you can watch a video report about the incident here).
So far, very few details have been released surrounding the case, so The Blaze called Dada to speak with him directly about the incident. After reaching him by phone and asking if he would be willing to speak with me about the tragic incident that took place earlier this month, he promptly referred me to the Archdiocese of Chicago.

After explaining that we merely wanted to see how he is feeling following the incident, he quickly repeated the information for the Catholic Church’s official contact in the area, said “may God bless you” and hung up on me.
Needless to say, we were unable to collect more details surrounding the case.

Then there is a proven fact that media in the past has taken what priests say out of context, so there is an inherent mistrust at this point which maybe the reason he was told to tell all callers representing media outlets to call the Diocese.

I wonder if these same folks might snidely wipe aside an attack of a German person because of Hitler or an attack on someone Chinese by pointing to what Mao did. What happened was wrong and that is all that needs to be said. By showing all of your biases and hatreds instead of condemning the incident you only show what small, insignificant and stupid individuals you all are.

Please cease and desist.
According to the Annual Review of Clinical Psychology: “The prevalence of pedophilia in the general population is not known, but is estimated to be lower than 5% based on several smaller studies with prevalence rates between 3% and 9%.”
while according to the John Jay Report (2004), less than 4% of the Priesthood were involved in the Catholic church scandal.
This means that there were fewer pedophiles in the Catholic Church than in the general community.
Please note: I am not giving the church a pass on how they handled the serious natures of these crimes. I am simply stating to not damn the entire church for the corrupt actions of a few.
The one thing that CAN be taken from this article is where the crime took place, though: Chicago. Murder capital and mob violence and home of Jeremiah Wright and his preaching of Black Liberation Theology (which I cannot help but wonder has killed how many people?).

I turned around and asked him to turn it off and he replied, “Turn around…. I hope the Catholic diocese speaks out about this. However, considering recent exposure of the progressive/marxist leanings of many Catholic bishops and groups, I would not hold my breath as they maintain the dangerous politically correct stance of silence. The bishops would do well to remember that Jesus spoke out against injustice and wrongdoing…That should give them permission to do the same.

I think if they are minorities, the priest and Church may be reluctant to draw the wrath of the black community and Jesse Jackson since they would try to find a way to make this the priest’s fault, possibly even trying to play the abuse card since once it is played it won’t matter if there is any truth in it or not. The man’s reputation will be ruined.
