Pro-Life Group Releases Three More Planned Parenthood Videos

The pro-life group Live Action has released three new undercover videos taken at Planned Parenthood (PP) centers in Virginia that it says show a “disturbing pattern of gross misconduct by Planned Parenthood.”
As in the previous two, a man posing as a pimp enters the center and asks about services such as birth control, STD testing, or abortions for his underage prostitutes. The first video, released Tuesday, resulted in the firing of one PP worker in New Jersey.
In the new videos, the workers don’t overtly tell the pimp how to run his business — like the New Jersey worker did — but they do discuss questionable practices. Live Action describes what it found in the latest round of videos from the Virginia cities of Falls Church, Roanoke, and Charlottesville:
• Falls Church – Abortions for underage girls from other countries only require a photo ID.
Planned Parenthood staffer: “We don’t necessarily look at the legal status, like I said. Abortion appointments do require photo ID. It’s nothing as far as records. It’s just photo ID that’s ever going to be required.”
• Roanoke – Birth control and STD testing for underage prostitutes is no problem
Planned Parenthood staffer: “From the age of 12 up, for birth control, you can just come in and do that. You don’t have to have a parent, OK?”
Planned Parenthood staffer discussing STD testing: “And the thing is, see this is the thing a lot of people don’t know that. . .Right, through the Health Department. And so, they’ll uh, they’ll track it. And they’re discreet. They’re confidential. They, you know, don’t tell people what’s going on, because – frankly – it’s nobody’s
business.”• Charlottesville – Birth control and testing for STDs and pregnancy for underage girls with no questions asked.
Planned Parenthood staffer: “Anybody here can help you. Everything here is confidential. We can’t give any information out.”

Readers might notice that the videos are posted on Blip and not YouTube. According to the group, YouTube was threatening to remove at least one of the videos because of “privacy” complaints. The group links here to explain the controversy.
Apparently, YouTube has backed down from its threat. However, Live Action has posted a letter it sent from its attorneys to YouTube regarding the issue.

By the same token, do you have proof PP contacted law enforcement for, “…all these visits…” as you wrote? I’ll be very interested to see that. So far, I haven’t seen a single PP press release in the media regarding the sting done in Richmond (news of the sting was released only yesterday).

I’m not really defending PP here. I have my views, others have theirs, I’m just taking issue Live Actions behaviour. They released the worst video first, Parenthood responded, then Action released more, not so damning videos just to keep their side of the story alive. It’s one thing for politicians to spin but when “watchdogs” and “media” spin the information they lose all respect in my eyes.

Fair enough, to your view.
As I see it, what was said (and done, so to speak) by those PP counselors is what it is. This was ‘reality TV’, of a sort. It’s not like what some network did on a show, where the network tried ‘showing’ racism in AZ by use of actors. (there’s a link on Drudge about that).
Something is inherently wrong here with PP. I see more is wrong with the laws that make the allowances that brought this knowledge before the public. However it works out, I see the way we’ve been doing things needs a serious fix.

Sadly, I doubt it. Planned Parenthood has 800 clinics nationwide. After decades of experience with liberals, I can easily believe that if 799 of those clinics are shown to operate the way of the five shown just this week, a liberal will say, “Well, it’s not ALL of them!”

I honestly believe that PP (as it now exists) was on the “elimination” list by the Left…I believe that their plan was simply to “absorb” them into their huge system of socialized medicine… remember that Organizational Chart that was circulated showing the vast web of agencies to be developed…(I think Glenn has shown it a few times on his program)…Seems to me that these clinics were replaced within “their new system”…that way the government would be controlling all of this, and also controlling any kind of investigation in to their operations…we had BETTER get Obamacare destroyed before it turns millions of aborted babies into TRILLIONS!

Posted on February 4, 2011 at 4:35pmIt’s hard to sort out because at a school, a student who is found to have an aspirin, Midol, or anything else that might resemble medication is at the very least suspended, but a student can go into a guidance office and say, “I’m pregnant, I want an abortion” and the school will help facilitate the abortion without notifying the parents.
I also find it interesting that if an adult is found to have sexual relationships with a minor, it often results in an arrest for the adult. Yet PP apparently endorses this type of behavior and uses the cloak of confidentiality as a shield for the criminal behavior.

They’re doing their job giving them information for health concerns. Would you rather the underage girls continue to spread their STD unaware of what they have and leave it untreated? Would you rather they not know their pregnant or give birth to an unwanted child to add to the welfare state? Would you rather they have a back alley abortion?
You are all blowing this up out of proportion as if you’re catching them in some illegal act. This is a far cry from what was caught with ACORN. Apples and Oranges.

In fact there’s no implicant information spelling out prostitution. He could be a producer or actor in the adult film industry. She wasn’t endorsing the guys actions but doing her job to ensure the safety (not spreading STDs, prevent the mother from having a back alley abortion)
And if you were to believe that this was prostitution and this was a pimp, if they can’t get their girls a legal abortion, what’s the next option? Kill the kid and throw her in the backwoods where no one will find her. That’s a much better solution then an abortion, isn’t it?

Report Post »I’m afraid my further research has shown that ANYONE who is “allowed” to post their pic has the “report post” turned off. i know this because I have seen many other “pro-Beck“ type posters who have their pic on and also have the ”report post” link disabled. Every time. I have had my pic available to post for some weeks now, and have only seen it a few times on here (and we ALL know how much I post here) Sadly, I did not notice at the time whether my “report post” was disabled, but I assume that it was.

It seems odd to me that SO MANY “anti-Beck” posters, and most with the same message are seemingly afforded this “pass’ when it comes to having the report button gone. And about 80% of them have no pic at all, just a blanck….thing, where the pic should be.

Which hunt? That is exactly what I figured those on my list would say after I posted this. On another story, you started mocking me with your pic (and therefore your “report post” entitlement) disabled as if I were a fool imagining things.
Using smoke and mirrors and then…like on here, belittling me and SHOWTIME for posting this is typical left wing soros-minded propaganda that i totally expected from you failbots.
When the other 80% of you start actually posting ARGUEMENTS then this will no longer BE a “which hunt’, but instead a forum of ideas that can be argued, shared, agreed or disagreed upon.
